Ecthel didn't mind the long hug he received from the ghost, but his face is slowly blushing red within seconds. He stood on his ground for many seconds, letting the girl hug him. I think that's a long time now... But as long as she remains happy, I'm good with her. He looked at his surroundings, but the only thing that he focused on is the ghost girl. He kept on hugging the girl while she is hugging him. If the hug lasted long, Ecthel's face will be bright red.

"You do like to hear yourself talk!" Utsuho dropped Gengetsu on the ground. "Shut up and listen. I considered it and I can use someone as strong as you..." Utsuho sat down near Gengetsu to give the girl good view on her not-so-innocent smile. "...to defeat Yukari."

Adults really were useless. Yuuka's gatekeeper came here and instead of helping Chen she was just watching her struggle. In anger and fear to ashame herself as Ran-sama's shikigami Chen did a last puch and moved the rack from Cirno-chan. She then tripped and fall at the ice fairy instead.

The ghost continued her hug Ecthel around his chest, the ghost that looked 10 years old did not let go of the 19 year old human.

In fact, she turned almost completely translucent, clothes and all, his hands would now go right through her.

She became non-responsive as she continued to hug Ecthel. Despite feeling her hug, he didn't feel weighted down at all, just the warmth of her touch was the only difference between now, and if she never hugged him at all.

It was like she was almost not even there.

(yep, she's not letting go any time soon)

Gengetsu made a small 'oomph' sound when she hit the ground again, but made not a peep as Utsuho spoke some more. The ever-smiling Gengetsu looked somewhat surprised at the request though.

Getting to her feet, Gengetsu brushed off her clothing, looking perfectly fine for someone who had just been smashed into the ground at a high velocity, even if her movements were somewhat stiff.

"Never knew I talked so much," Gengetsu commented in wonder. "... But you say you want my help in defeating Yukari Yakumo? Interesting..."

Yukari Yakumo was indeed a powerful individual. It was a shame Gengetsu never had a reason to fight her, but she was aware of her strength. Why would this hell raven want to fight her?

"Sounds fun, but..." Gengetsu glanced over her shoulder, seeing the face-stomping her sister received, and her smile almost noticeably dropped. "I can't leave Mu alone. Once she recovers, she'll get cranky and probably start another fight. And I'll need to be her pillar of support for the inevitable trauma she'll receive from super-angry Kazami."

Gengetsu sighed as she faced Utsuho again. "I'm really sorry, but I don't think I can comply. A shame, too, I've always wanted to duel with Yukari."

Elly watched as Chen finally managed to move the rack... only to fall onto the ice fairy. That could be a tad problematic for a few reasons... it was probably bad that her main reason involved memories that refused to stay repressed.

"And she claims another victim..." Elly sighed as she made her way over to the to, dragging Chen away from Cirno before she froze to death, then kneeling by the fairy herself. "...So, you okay?"

Elly still sounded a little down about her uselessness in the last fight, which she didn't really bother to mask.

I think this girl underestimates Yukarin's genius in punishment. What do you think, Okuu?

We can lock her underground. If I ask Orin, she'll look for her.

Tempting, but I'm afraid even I cannot convince Yuukarin to agree with that.

"So if someone scare your sister enough to make her stay away from this place, the problem is solved, right?"

Yasora pulled Gengetsu from the ground and pushed her forward. And placed third leg to her back.

"Move. I'll see what can I do here."

Chen didn't like at all Elly pushing her like that.

"I tried my best here. What did I ever done to you? Elly is a big meanie! Ran-sama!"

Crying Chen have left the kitchen.

RD:

"To Reimu!" Yukari declared, dramatically pointing the kitten at the sky. She didn't like this—for the cat was indeed female, difficult as it was to tell—and the youkai lowered the mewling kitten to her cheek after a second. With a kitsune for a shikigami and a nekomata as a second-order shikigami, was it any surprise that the gap youkai had a fondness for vaguely feline animals?

Mima took her own cup with a disturbing grin, drinking it with a lot less restraint than her mortal apprentice. It took a lot to get the evil spirit drunk and unless someone happened to steal the oni's gourd there was little danger of that point being reached. "Of course I don't like demonic. Why the hell would I want to spend an eternity looking ugly? Oh, and I never destroyed Makai, Devil-tan, I just beat Shinki up."

"Oh, the raven? She's been possessed by Yasora—Kojiwa Yasora. Where did you dig her up? Last time I saw her was... oh, eight-hundred or so years ago?" The green-haired magician continued, between sips of the sake. Part of her wondered why the fairy wasn't drinking and—if she hadn't already been sporting it, that was—Mima's 'I have a fun idea smirk' took over her face.

"You should drink it, it's medicinal." The spirit whispered, bending down to the fairy's ear. It was true—she knew ways of using alcohol as a medicine. It generally involved other ingredients, however, and on at least one occasion had required acquiring a sample of Lunarian sake.

"Where are we going?" Mokou asked, rather bluntly. They seemed to be going... somewhere? Either way, they were back in the Forest of Magic. At this rate, they would inevitably end up somewhere unrelated such as the hotsprings.

"Onee-sama is warm..." Ranma said, proving that even something that had the mind of a malevolent youkai cherry tree could say cute things in their sleep. And she indisputably looked cute, curled up against the Yama of Paradise as she was.

"Chen... just kissed me..." Cirno remarked, somewhat in a daze. She had heard of kissing before but never expected it to happen to her... did that mean that the nekomata was her girlfriend, whatever one of them was? And wasn't it mean to leave Flandre out?

Yuyuko rapidly nodded in asset.

"Yeah!" she declared, starting off in the direction she happened to be looking in, before pausing and going silent for several moments. Yuyuko turned towards Yukari, smiling sheepishly. "Um... which way to the Hakurei shrine?"

Marisa took another sip of her sake, watching with a great deal of amusement as Mima downed hers. She remembered finding it funny, after she learned that alcohol made people, well, drunk, that Mima could drink so much without getting drunk. It was still pretty amusing. The black and white witch grinned as she watched, and was about to speak up when Mima leaned over and whispered to the fairy.

... What's with her and that fairy?

The fairy blinked, and almost instantly downed her entire cup of sake. After all, it could help her with her illness if it was medicine.

"Um... eh-heh..." Kaguya stopped, and surveyed her surroundings. Trees. Lots and lots of trees. She didn't at all recognize their location at all. "Um... I'll... I'll... I have no idea..."

Eiki's expression softened when Ranma spoke. It had sounded awfully cute... but... no, she couldn't just stay here with the smaller girl lying on her.

"Onozuka-kun, can you help me get her off?" she asked. "Gently."

Ecthel's hands went through the ghost to his own chest, since he didn't realize that the girl in question is a ghost. He started to lower his arms down, and he simply asked the ghost, "Now what? Should we stand around here while you're hugging me, or should we go somewhere else? Jeez, you're making me blush!"

Ecthel wanted to walk around the village with the ghost, but it's best to wait for the ghost's response, since the girl is fixated on hugging him, even though he thinks that's a bit obsessive of her.

Why the hell would I want to spend an eternity looking ugly? Oh, and I never destroyed Makai, Devil-tan, I just beat Shinki up."

"Heh." Suwako said. Shinki was strong, but Suwako countered herself stronger then her. By at least one tier she thinks. "I herd it was you who blew up Makai and Reimu was the one who beat her up...or was it Yuuka who destroyed Makai and you who... Gah, so many people have told me so many different versions of the story I don't know what to believe...should have talked to one of you sooner."

"It got to the point where I might as well believe the one amusing demon that said that it was some fallen angel called Sariel who did it, and Alice was her reincarnation and in the end she killed all life on gensokyo, makai, and earth." Suwako said before having a little laugh. "Some idiots are just really helpful" Suwako said sarcastically "It's been about as confusing as me trying to figure out what's going on with that hell raven."

"Oh, the raven? She's been possessed by Yasora—Kojiwa Yasora. Where did you dig her up? Last time I saw her was... oh, eight-hundred or so years ago?" The green-haired magician continued, between sips of the sake.

"You should drink it, it's medicinal."

Suwako was shocked when she herd the news. Damn, one offhand comment was far more infomation then anything else. She had herd that name being used to refer to Yatagarasu before, and instantly knew who she was talking about.

"Hold up there." Suwako said, pouring another cup of Sake for her and Mima, and was holding off pouring a cup for the kid.

"What did you say? I wasn't the one who found the SOB, apparently my friend Kanako dug it up. But...how in the world did you know any of that?"

She noticed that Mima was focusing more attention on the little fairy. Suwako herself had a little mischievous smile as she checked out the ghost's body again, then poured her the drink she wanted to give to the fairy.

Around Ecthel the ghost continued to hang as she continued to tune out of reality.

"...friends forever..." was all that Ecthel could hear her mutter.

The unnamed cute ghost still had not noticed Mystia was nearby cooking.

A Suwako appeared near the Moriya shrine. She didn't check to see if a light was still on or if they were awake, but it didn't matter.

She needed to find Kanako. It's the Moriya shrine god's problem as it was her own. (That and she'd need to fall back upon "godpower" as her pet project's power source if she couldn't use Utusho.

She and Kanako needed to talk.
Again.

Suwako headed inside and looked for Kanako.

The smell from the cooking lamprey maliciously wafted towards the hugging pair.

Mystia had continued watching them until minute five of the hug at which point her attention had drifted. She was now watching a moth flitting around her stand's lamps.

"Eh?" Elly turned her head to look at the nekomata when she ran away crying. For a moment, the gate keeper simply stared in surprise. Then, she groaned and fell onto her backside, looking both moody and fearful.
"Great, I get to join the crazy twins tonight..." Elly grumbled darkly. "... And sucks to be you." She added to the fairy, who had apparently received a kiss from Chen as well.

Gengetsu was pulled to her feet, but she didn't move on Yasora's command. She simply stared straight ahead for a few moments before speaking.

"... I find myself worrying about what you plan to do," Gengetsu said. "If my theory that you're Yuuka's lover or bestest friend ever is correct, it is understandable that you would rather she - and me, by extension - stop arguing over territory laws that don't even exist in the dream realm."

Gengetsu turned her head to Yasora, still smiling slightly. "But if your method involves hurting Mu in any way, then I can't consider it as punishment for her actions today, and I would simply refuse to help you."

Now Gengetsu started walking. "... Of course, if you could convince her to simply keep still, I suppose nothing is stopping me from helping out, huh?"

"This is a hard judgement to measure..." Yuuka said thoughtfully. "I'm almost tempted to ask Shikieiki for help here, but she'll just treat me like the villain here, so..."

Mugetsu's reply was unheard, but Yuuka had a feeling she knew what her comment was, and decided to kick her face further into the ground.

"How can you be so blind to your own actions?" Yuuka sighed. Man, she really wanted to lie down, but as long as Mugetsu was still around, that would be foolish indeed.

And now that she thought about it, what was Yatsuho doing with Gengetsu?

Gengetsu's words pissed Yasora off. She was shaking from anger.

"I don't think you realised a situation you're in. You think if I need something from you, I'll keep you safe? If you'll continue to be annoying, I'll hand you over to Yuukarin. Now, whele you're resting in "maximum fun room," think about a tone you're going to talk to me with."

Utsuho tried to calm Yasora down... in her own way:

"I don't think it matters what you decide to do with me," Gengetsu shrugged, smiling brightly. "Even if you let Yuuka have her way with me, I'll be back to normal in about three days. Then, I nurse Mu back to health for another week, she'll forget about her little grudge for about seven to nine months, then launch another attack and repeat the cycle."

Gengetsu chuckled slightly. "But if you really don't need my help, there's no point in offering, right? Perhaps you should decide now if I'm of any worth?"

After a few seconds, Gengetsu saw it fit to add, "And I apologise if I came across as rude. When Mu is my only companion, social niceties are harder to memorise."

Yasora didn't answered to that. She dragged Gengetsu into the mansion's basement and chained to a wall (she tried not to accidentally trigger any devices which purpose he didn't understand here). After that she went searching for Yuuka. Yasora didn't know what to say to her, but hoped to improvise.

A smell of something caught Ecthel's eye, and he spotted the Night Sparrow and the food that is being cooked. He rubbed his stomach, noting that he is a bit hungry. He walked to the Night Sparrow while being hugged by the ghost girl, and he took a second to look at the food. The smell is alright by his standards, but it's a bit smoky for him. It didn't concern him, though, since he wanted to eat one.

"Hey," Ecthel asked the Ghost Girl, "Do you want some food from the Night Sparrow?"

The ghost girl gave no immediate response to Ecthel, instead just continuing to latch onto him.

After a few moments, the girl finally responded to him.

"prayers....would be nice..." he herd her mutter, almost ignorant to the world around her.

Komachi really didn't want to help. What Eiki did to her damn well hurt!

Komachi crossed her amrs and looked at Eiki, then caught Fuka's eye.

Eyes that were saying "You need to go do it"

While komachi's gave off a "I know but I don't want to."

Fuka increased his glare giving off something like a "you know what you need to do."

Komachi rolled her eyes, pouted and gave a "fine fine I'll do it. You're lucky you're cute" look at Fuka

She went then and tried to lift the ghost girl off her boss's body. Hopefully to carry her off into a bed to sleep.

"Hey there little one." Komachi said "You gotta go to bed before you start hugging people"

Yukari sent a suspicious glance at Yuyuko, though since it was the gap youkai the glance could mean anything. Whilst not quite the Consummate Liar that Mima was, the blonde was extremely difficult to trust... for entirely separate reasons.

"This way," she said, pointing in a random direction and opening a gap there, "It's faster."

Mima considered the fairy's actions. Whilst it was a good attitude to have to medicine in general, downing sake like that could only go wrong... and that was without taking into account such things as the fairy's lack of mass and still being very much a child.

"Drink this one more slowly, okay?"

With that, the green-haired magician returned to her own drink, informing Suwako that she hadn't spent her life as a hermit after becoming a spirit and had continued to get involved with things.

"That I stopped announcing magical discoveries to all and sundry is no reason to assume that I dropped off of the face of the Earth for so long."

Kaguya had gotten them lost. This was so typical that Mokou didn't comment, instead waiting for the Lunarian princess to spot something that she recognised. Unfortunately, even the NEET had better knowledge of their surroundings than she did.

Picking up Ranma was easy—she wasn't even slightly heavy, possibly because her guts were substantially more empty than a normal person's*

. Eiki was similarly light, really, which meant that picking up both wasn't that difficult... especially because the sleeping tree was clinging on to the childish Yama with unnatural stubbornness. It would probably be easiest to put them both in a bed and see if it was possible to undress Eiki whilst she was being clung to.

Cirno wandered the kitchen in a stunned daze, poking her lips every few seconds. This was likely to continue for a long time.

A small mischievous smile grew on the reporter's face as she watched Eiki squirm with discomfort. That was probably going to bite her in the ass later, but if the judge was going to throw insults like "pervert" at her then the tengu was going to enjoy her suffering for a little bit. But sleep was calling to her like a distant siren and her willpower could not hold out much more. When Hatate told her that Momiji had already beat her to bed, she felt a little embarrassed "Oh, I guess I didn't notice her go." She aid as she scratch the back of her head. The whole Ranma thing must have really taken away her attention.

Fuka explanation of where Komachi was gone and the behind the scenes of the prank was certainly a slight spirit revive. As well as a new target vent her mischievous plans on. But the ferryman return surprised her and showed that whatever prank or trap she had in mind was dwarfed by Eiki's wraith on the shinigami.

When Aya entered the shrine she found that the bed she was sleeping in was already occupied. It seems Momiji had been too sleepy to get her own futon or check the personal items around them. "She took my bed" Aya complained to no one in particular... before simply shrugging and laying down right next to the white wolf tengu, passing out into a blissful slumber.

Gengetsu only continued to smile at Utsuho as she was chained. It didn't seem to occur to the hell raven that Gen wasn't sufficiently weak enough to be held by mere chains. Granted, these particular chains were reinforced by Yuuka's magic, but it would be simple matter to break them... then again, was it really 'simple' if it meant expending a lot of her energy just to do so? Best to simply get this over with.

Besides, at least Gengetsu had company.

"Is this why Yuuka was struggling so much, then?" Gengetsu asked the pile of flesh and clothes nearby. The lack of bones made it difficult for Yuuka 2 to reply in any way. "Makes sense. Although, it's quite weird for Yuuka to melt herself."

Flandre located Patchouli fairly easily. Weirdly enough, she was still out cold. Why? Was the librarian really that tired? She did just sort of fall asleep when Yuuka talked to her...

Flandre poked her in the head lightly. 'Lightly' as in 'enough to bruise even a thick-skulled person'. Naturally, this resulted in a rather large, dark mark spreading through Patchouli's forehead, and Flandre sighed. It was a wonder she hadn't broken yet.

The young vampire picked her up and began to make her way back towards Yuuka.

Elly watched glumly as Cirno flew around the kitchen aimlessly. IT would appear that she had never been kissed before. Such a shame it had been stolen in a way similar to how Chen stole Elly's. Ugh, why wasn't memory purging working?

Yawning widely, Yuuka slowly dragged Mugetsu towards the remains of her mansion, gripping her captive's ankle tightly. Poor Mugetsu struggled to keep her face off the ground.
"... Chen seems distressed." Yuuka muttered quietly, sensing the shikigami's location, which was quickly vacating the kitchen and leaving Cirno and Elly behind. She had a vague idea of what the problem was. The flower youkai barely had it in her to reprimand Elly, but it was yet another necessary task to do.

In the meantime, Yuuka spotted Yasora and gave her a small wave. "S'up, Yatsy?" She glanced around the area, not seeing Gengetsu anywhere. Unable to sense the location of either of the two, Yuuka surmised from Yasora's location that she had taken the liberty of detaining her. Thoughtful.

"You beat Gen? I'm a little surprised, to be honest," Yuuka commented. "She makes this idiot look like a stage 1 mid boss."

"What?!" Mugetsu spluttered angrily. "I'll have you know that I am the strongest of us by far! Gen's completely useless without me to-"

Yuuka raised Mugetsu into the air and slammed her back to earth, temporarily shutting the annoyance up. Having unholy amounts of endurance could be both a blessing and a curse. No prizes for what it was classified as in Mugetsu's case.

"Well, whatever. I'll punish them tomorrow. Wanna sleep, maybe send the kids home," Yuuka finished, stifling another yawn. "Fix my power level, all that good stuff."

Yuyuko tilted her head at the suspiscious glance from Yukari. She had no idea what had earned her that, and she was a bit confused about it really. Quite clearly very confused, she drifted over to the gap that Yukari had opened to pass right through.

Had the fairy been a human child, Marisa might've been a bit confused as to why Mima kept giving her alcohol. It wasn't as if Marisa cared all that much but that probably wouldn't be a good idea. But the fairy was just that, a fairy. She'd seen plenty of fairies drinking sake and then going and doing even dumber things then usual, why was there any reason to think that this one had never drank any?

She took another sip of her sake and decided to weigh in on the conversation. "I never announce my magical discoveries, so I can surprise people with 'em when we're fighting!"

The fairy had in fact never drank alcohol, and she genuinely believed Mima when she had said that it was a medicine. She looked confused, and a bit drowsy, when Mima told her to slow down.

"But... if it's m-medicine, shouldn't I w-want to d-d-d-drink it faster?" she asked.

Kaguya wandered.

And wandered.

And wandered.

The whole time she was growing more and more concerned, she hadn't been in this part of Gensokyo for... she couldn't even remember the last time she was here. All the trees looked the same in the dark, and the lunarian princess realized that she hadn't eaten dinner at all and she was quite hungry.

All of this resulted in them stopping in the middle of the pitch dark forest, Kaguya glancing back and forth with a worried expression.

Eiki was not in fact paying attention to the fact that she was being picked up. She was instead focused on what was directly in her line of sight. Komachi's chest. The small yama's entire body seemed to go scarlet as she stared, her expression twisting into one of embarrassment, jealousy, and indeed a some of enjoyment. The observant could detect a small trickle of blood running from her nose.

When she finally realized what was going on, she wasn't quite pleased. "S-stop picking me up to shove m-my face in your giant ch-chest, Onozuka-kun!"

"Side effect of splitting your monumental strength..." Yuuka muttered to Yasora with a slightly forced smile. "I lose a lot of it, and then I need to deal with idiots like her..."

As for the constant intrusions... Yuuka would have shed some light on that in as few words as possible, but Chen came crying at that moment, and Yuuka's fatigue was quickly forgotten as she approached the nekomata. "Chen! Are you all right? Come here, tell me what's wrong!" Yuuka said soothingly.

With her hold on Mugetsu temporarily gone, the maid found it safe to mention just what was going on between them. Spitting out mouthfuls of dirt, she struggled to her knees.
"That horrible monster invaded my land and stole it!" She growled savagely. "I only want what's mine." Mugetsu then glared at Yasora. "And you! Don't think I don't know what you are! I know you're as creepy as your girlfriend there, and if you touch Gen, I'll person-"

Mugetsu's rant was interrupted by a bullet that Yuuka shot absent-mindedly over her shoulder as she comforted Chen, like some sort of automated response. Mugetsu was grounded once again, wondering if she just might as well submit to unconsciousness. She sure as hell wasn't recovering in time to attack.

"It'll be over in a moment Eiki-sama" Komachi said, carrying the two and fully noticing Eiki's reaction (and nosebleed)

If nothing would disturb them, Komachi walked into the shrine and laid Eiki and Ranma down together together on what was suppose to be her cot, right next to Aya and Momiji.

Komachi would need to go get a few more cots for the more people here now...

"Man, it's starting to get late." Suwako said as she traveled along with the two immortals.

"Maybe we should settle down for the night and continue in the morning." Suwako said giving a yawn. "If you want, I could fast track us to the Moriya shrine and we can rest there for the night."

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.

When Aya had fallen asleep next to Momiji, the other crow had very carefully lifted up her camera phone. She clicked and saved only to fumble with her camera when Komachi came in carrying the ghost girl and Enma-sama, She quickly hid her camera in her pocket, a slight flush at almost being caught appearing on her cheeks. She didn't know what she would do if the ferryman had actually caught her taking a picture of the sleeping Aya and Momiji. It would be even worse if she found out about the extensive collection of photos she kept of the two.

To say the least, Aya and Momiji weren't completely wrong when calling her a stalker. It's just, Reimu wasn't the person she had been stalking. And it wasn't as much stalking as taking photos of the two people she admired the most.

In any case, it seemed Hatate would have to find herself somewhere to sleep. Hopefully someone would point her in the direction of more cots.

"Prayers?" Ecthel copied, "Wait a second... I'll try to ask the Night Sparrow about the prayers, and where to find them. I don't know if prayers are actually food or not..."

Ecthel shrugged after he said his words, and he looked at the Night Sparrow. He had trouble with eye contact on her, since the smell is slowly getting on his nerves. After some time, he managed to make eye contact with the Sparrow, and he asked her, "Excuse me, Night Sparrow, but do you know where you can find prayers to eat? This Ghost Girl is getting hungry, and I think she wants to eat prayers..."

Shutdown sequence initiated.
