"Ummm..." Yuyuko once again wracked her brains to think of where, exactly, they could find a kitten to give to Reimu. Of course, there was a chance there was one almost anywhere in Gensokyo. But being guaranteed to find a kitten was a different matter entirely. "Can you find one with your gaps? One that's not owned already?"

The ill fairy slowly nodded. "Y-yeah... um... I w-was getting kind of umcomfortable before, th-though."

As one would expect, Marisa turned when she heard he danmaku firing, only to see the fairy sitting on Mima's lap with no clear signs of danmaku being fired. She turned back to the girl she was restraining only to be greeted with a danmaku blast, which sent her reeling back aqnd loosing her grip on the girl's ankle.

The girl stumbled to her feet and backed up. "I'm s-sorry, I really d-do have a job I h-have to do!"

Kaguya tilted her head, completely not understanding why Mokou had fallen so silent. "What's wrong?"

"The netherworld has a gate," Eiki replied, much more relaxed now that she was sure that the embodiment of the Saigyou Ayakashi was not going to be stealing anymore souls. She really couldn't do much of anything about the souls she currently had, there was no real point in attempting it. "How did you get through it?"

Internally, admittedly, despite the girl's more disturbing tendencies, Eiki did find the embodiment of the Saigyou Ayakashi a bit cute, in a "sleepy little sister" kind of way. Not that she would ever say that aloud.

The frog god's hat floating around mima suddendly shot out of the water and behind the mysterious girl

In a flash, A fully clothed Suwako Moriya appeared behind the door and blocked the girl's escape.(and there was the original still in the water)

"I'm sorry, but that job of yours is going to have to wait. Figuring you tried to kill our friend here twice, we want some answers."

Suwako landed on the ground, adjusted her hat, and spoke less forcefully. "And I suggest you don't try running. If this is a accident, you running won't help your case now would it."

Suwako wasn't sure how hostile the girl was. It was hard to believe That it was a accident, and the girl could be trying to cover her tracks because she's outnumbered. But then, why did she stop the fog?

Suwako wanted some answers, and assuming she was good enough. Assumptions can get people killed, especally when its almost happened twice already.

Marisa was about to outright blast the girl with danmaku, when she started crying.

That was a bit surprising.

"I-I'm sorry!" the young girl cried, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I d-didn't want to hurt anyone, I d-don't know why Kiriyoshi-chan was doing that! I-I'll t-talk to her... b-but I have to g-go do my job!"

"Give me a few minutes." Yukari replied, closing her eyes and looking surprisingly peaceful for someone who was probably playing with her own considerable power, onmyodo, and the borders between all sorts of ridiculous things in order to do something as simple as... find a stray kitten. Hopefully a cute one.

"Hurt Mari-chan that way again and I'll gut you." Mima said pleasantly, if such a threat could actually be pleasant. Hurting Marisa was all well and good when playing by the rules but when relaxing in a hotspring? Unforgivable. "Maybe you should just get undressed and get in the water?"

"Nothing to say." Mokou said. She wasn't normally as talkative as she'd been all day—it came from living on your own. She hadn't spoken to anyone in a few weeks, though, so maybe that explained it.

"I don't know..." Ranma replied, yawning again and shuffling towards Eiki.

The girl was crying. It did look quite genuine, orshe was just very good. Maybe she was telling the truth?

"Well, maybe we can when we settle this." Suwako said to mima. The girl was cute like Sanae was when she was a little kid.

"Anyway" suwako said focusing on the little girl. "So help us understand ok? Can you tell us what's your job?" She asked much more gently, putting her hand on the girl's shoulder

and along with it, that shoulder got a little wet. After all, she did just come out of the water...

Yuyuko cheerfully waited.

Marisa wasn't exactly sure how to react to a sobbing enemy. Really, she was more used to this launching into a danmaku duel... which wouldn't really have been nice considering the whole being naked thing.

"I d-don't like hurting anyone..." replied the black-haired girl. "But I've g-got to go!"

There was a sudden flash of a blackened something, and what sounded like an immense female sigh, and the black-haired girl was gone.

Marisa stared.

"What the hell just happened?!"

Kaguya shrugged, then continued onwards.

"You don't know..." Eiki regarded the smaller girl for a few moments. "Wait, why are you coming over to me?"

And waited.

"We should just relax a little longer..." Mima advised, resting her chin on the ill fairy's head. "They can't be more than the fourth or fifth boss and there's six in total..."

"Maybe I've been playing too much Seihou..."

Mokou continued clinging on, though her disorientation was starting to dissipate. Soon... soon she could stop relying on Kaguya for support!

Ranma said nothing, instead choosing to attempt a glomp that would bring Eiki and the ghostly tree onto a thick patch of magical moss that indicated that Reimu didn't spend enough time taking care of her shrine's grounds.

"But... I've gotta beat Hakurei! And now we've got a lead on..." Marisa paused for a moment. They had a lead on Reimu, they'd encountered someone who was probably the cause of this incident. She grinned. "... We've got a big lead on Rei-chan, I guess a bit more relaxing won't be a problem."

The fairy looked completely perplexed as to what was going on, mainly due to the fact that all she'd been able to see were large blurs.

Eiki toppled back onto the moss.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" she squirmed, not particularly liking the sudden tackleglomp out of no where.

Mystia reappeared from the outskirts of the Village, pushing her lamprey cart. She had apparently gotten bored, wandered off, remembered that she was in the middle of an errand, and then came back. And that's why she wasn't talking.

She set up the cart and started stoking the grills, while peering at Etchel and the ghosty ghost girl with mild interest.

Suwako liked the idea of sleeping in the same Futon with the princess. Like other thoughts that night, more then she could.

As a matter of fact, she'd want to do anything but sleep in it with the princess, she'd prefer other things.

Granted, she was right though. She could always invest in lunar loving another time...(and being the hero of the incident definitely could help those chances.)

But she was getting ahead of herself, and letting her mind get filled with lust.

She'd be pretty sure Erin wouldn't let her step inside their home. That Lunar medic was always a step ahead of her...

"We can do all that after we solve this mystery. It'll be our hero's reward!" Suwako said, playing along.

'Let's head out gang! In...' She reached her hand out, and pointed her finger in the direction of...

in the direction of...

"In uh....and I'll let you girls choose which way we go."

Suwako really thought she had the girl for once, and was finally going to get some answers.

And then the girl vanished in a flash, Leaving suwako alone, without another clue...again.

"..."

"Son of a bitch she got away!" Suwako shouted kicking the floor. Her mind rattled on with even profane statements, most not suited for this rating. (minus the yuri, nakedness, and the fanservice of course.)

Suwako sulked for moment.

"I knew I should have put a death curse on her the moment I touched her." Suwako said to herself as she faded into three streams of dust, turning into three people-sized frog statues surrounding the hot spring, leaving the suwako in the pool the only suwako in the area again.

With that, she moved between mima and Marisa.

"Yea...that doesn't sound too bad at all. I'd like a little something to take a nerve off..." Suwako said in reply to Marisa....before realizing she could infact do exactly what she said.

Out of the water, the naked Suwako pulled out her hat and pulled out three things. A plate to float on the hot spring, a bottle of sake, and three cups (but that makes five?).

"You girls wanna drink?" suwako said.

And then she realized she never remember the ghost witch's name.

"By the way, what's your name? I can't remember me asking it." Suwako asked Mima

The ghost's soul jumped for joy when Ecthel said he'd be her friend.

A friend. A friend who would be there and not abandon her. The ghost's simple mind took it as truth, and was overjoyed at the thought.

She immediately attached herself to the human with a massive hug with tears of joy.

"A friend, a friend!" She said, "I have a friend!"

Fuka found it extremely cute to see what Ranma just did. They looked like too were part of one of those Japanese tvshows with schoolgirls. Granted, Komachi's the one who watches them, but he's the one who hears everything about it from her.

He also noticed the moss, and had a mental tisk tisk tisk. Fuka could do such a better job then what this current shrine maiden's done. Heck, he could probably do the whole shrine in a hour or two he thought to himself.

And waited. Yukari was being picky.

"I'm Mima, little goddess, and if you haven't heard of me before now you're an inattentive idiot." The evil spirit replied, looking suspiciously at the cups. Weren't there five people in the spring? "You might want to get more cups, by the way."

After all, there was no point leaving Koakuma devoid of a chance to get a drink, even if she did have a blindfold on for some inexplicable reason.

Mokou said nothing. How unsurprising.

"Sleepy..." Ranma replied before turning Eiki's rather uninspiring chest into a pillow and starting to snore gently. As for how the yama would feel... lying next to Ranma was like lying by an air conditioner.

Marisa leaned back. We're definitely going to beat Rei-chan this time.

She glanced at the sake, and leaned forward again. "Sure, why not?"

The fairy twitched in place, but said nothing.

"Gaaaaah, she's c-cold!" Eiki protested, squirming as Ranma laid her head and Eiki's chest. She began to shudder almost immediately, the cold getting to her quite quickly.

"Awww, how cuuuuuuuute" Aya spurted out as she watched Ranma turn Eiki into a impromptu pillow, falling asleep on the ground while the judge was pinned. Any tension beforehand was gone in a moment, and the crow tengu was back to her more carefree self. Of course she didn't miss the opportunity to get a picture of the scene, making sure to get Eiki's embarrassed look, which would no doubt knock her off her normally high horse (which was probably compensation for her height). It was good to see someone so high and mighty brought low by a cute girl.

"It seems that everything has calmed down, so I think I'm going to go back to sleep"" Aya said, walking back to the shrine, before turning back to Hatate and Momiji "You can stay if you want to, maybe eat some of..." The reporter then remembered the party food still inside, and from that the fact that Komachi wasn't actually killed, yet hadn't showed up yet "Hey, where is Komachi?" She asked other shinigami, curious about she she might have gone to after the prank.

"Do you think that Reimu would mind a deaf kitten?" Yukari said finally, holding the white-furred and blue-eyed creature she had acquired aloft. It was, as kittens generally were, adorable.

The ghosts, unwilling to let their mistress's pillow freeze, did the most sensible thing they could: hid and let the air warm up. Hid inside Ranma, which was rather strange (just where did they all go and why didn't she notice?) but at least things were warmer. Ranma herself was rather warm, after all.

"Actually, Momiji already went in to sleep," Hatate said after shaking herself from the blatant gawking she was doing at seeing the Yama so embarrassed, "I think she was too tired to care if she was invited or not."

Which was kinda Hatate's fault and she knew it. She had known the wolf tengu woke up earlier than most for her guard duties. Keeping her out this late was probably not good for the wolf at all.

She asked other shinigami, curious about she she might have gone to after the prank.

Fuka began to tail behind Aya and Hatate talked.

"What happened to Komachi?" Fuka repeated. "well...I might as well tell you the whole story."

"I finished my work for the day at the Shingami Training Academy at the Ministry and went to the Sanzu to say hi to Komachi, but I noticed she was gone and she had some violent and perverted spirits to ferry, so I decided to do it for her. That's when Eiki-sama found me mid-trip and scolded me for enabling Komachi. She told me to go fetch Komachi for her. Even though I don't work under Shikieiki anymore, I owe too much to that woman to say no. Besides, I wanted to say hi anyway."

"I did that whole fog charade so she wouldn't notice me setting up a teleport glyph, and after I herd you all talk about the ghost story, I decided to take Komachi's advice earlier to prank you back. So I did the whole thing, and used my power to manipulate size to turn my scythe into a hook to pull Komachi into the fog and send her Eiki's way.

"And then...well..."

----Flashback of retelling----

Komachi had grabbed her scythe unaware that Fuka's scythe, manipulated into what looked like a long stick and a hook sliding into Komachi's belt.

"That's because noone takes my-AHH!" Komachi felt Fuka's hook yank her right inside the thick unseealbe fog.

...

Komachi landed on her butt onto the ground, her scythe near her feet.

Komachi took a quick look at her surroundings and noticed Fukakusa near her.

With that, Komachi noticed her former shingami partner "You? What's going on!" she said.

"Eiki-sama sent me, She found out." Fuka told her.

"What?!" Komachi said in shock, her eyes widened in fear.

"She sent me to warp you to her office. Sorry Komachi, I'm sure she'll be gentle with you."

"Oh no" Komachi said, falling back on her rear "Oh no-no-no..."

The ground below Komachi began to glow, a small little glyph that encircled the area around Komachi lit up and began to work.

"AHHHHHH!!" Komachi was able to yell as she was teleported from the shrine and all the way to Higan, Shiki Eiki's office.

She screamed like she was about to be killed, pretty much because Eiki was probably going to.

---Flashback of retelling end---

"And then I made the scythe bloody, and you know the rest of the story" Fuka finished. "As to what happened to her, I don't..."

A figure came limping to the scene.

Komachi.

Immediately she caught Fuka's attention as she always does. She looked like she had been through the ringer, physically and mentally.

"Komachi?" Fuka said, finally noticing her. "Welcome back."

Fuka would have said, about time you've come back, but he knew FAR better then to call that beauty that.

The little ghost latched around Ecthel's waist and did not let go. The girl felt as real as a real girl could be but without any weight. The only weight she felt was the clothes she was wearing.

Her skin became translucent as she tightened her grip, making sure that she would not let go of the boy who promised to be with a supposedly murderous Onryo forever. (In some cultures, this could be considered a marriage proposal).

The ghost had found her happy place.

A small little white snake that seemed to come from the ground popped his head out of the ground near Mystia's cart the moment her grills turned on.

Another popped it's head out of the ground, wearing a hat that looked suspiciously like a duplicate of Mystia's very own hat.

More would follow soon.

"I'm Mima, little goddess, and if you haven't heard of me before now you're an inattentive idiot." The evil spirit replied, looking suspiciously at the cups. Weren't there five people in the spring? "You might want to get more cups, by the way."

Suwako looked at the ghost again. "Wait...you're that Mima? That famous witch Mima?"

Suwako was a bit taken aback as she pulled out some cups for the minor fairy and the "innocent?" familiar.

"This whole time I thought you were just named the same. It's a pleasure to meet you Mima." Suwako said

"Honestly I was expecting....someone not as good looking as you, more demonic and siniser. The stories I've herd of you make you seem quite a...a...what's the word..." Suwako was stopped up on how to put it nicely.

Suwako noticed the familiar scoot closer to Mima, her face red as anything, and butting in to trying to answer.

"Terror to all living things? Destroyer of Makai? Wanted J-walking Felon?" Koa attempted to answer

"you know what I mean." Either way, I'm glad my mental image of you was way off track." Suwako said with a little smile as she poured Mima and cup of Sake and handed it to her.

"I was kinda busy when you make your introduction. That Hellraven from before was causing me some trouble. Apparently she's possessed or something, but I'll figure it out later.

Marisa glanced at the sake, and leaned forward again. "Sure, why not?"

"You got a point, what could possibly go wrong?" Suwako said, pouring another cup and passing it along the other witch on the other side of Suwako.

After all, what could possibly go wrong from three superpowered characters all getting sloshed?

[[Plot Bunnies...]]

Immediately, her mind found a answer to that.

Imagine Spot moment go!——

Suwako Moriya woke up.

She looked around, trying to find out where she had been.

Looking down, she noticed she was on a beach, looking

And Charles Heston. A hunky, good looking Charles Heston right out of the classic 1968 Planet Of The Apes movie.

And just like Planet Of The Apes, she noticed that they were surrounded by what one might think were people in Ape Suits, but they were not.

They were evolves apes, grown and evolved from the apes they once use to know. Instead of ape-kind being the servants, pets, and comic reliefs of man, it was the other way around. Ape ruled Man, and Man was nothing more then slaves. The Apes rode were on horses,**

Suwako couldn't believe it. Man had fallen. The man she once hoped to rule, the one Kanako convinced her to save, had fallen to their own hubris and destroied themselves.

Suwako looked forward and saw the final piece to this. The final proof.

"you all did it...you all really did it..." she muttered as she fell to her knees. As the waves of the water crashes near her, she grief and anger consumed her.

"YOU MANAICS!" She yelled as she slammed one hand into the sand and water

"YOU BLEW IT UP! GOD DAMN YOU!

She fell on all fours in despair.

"GOD DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL!"

The Statue of Liberty. Half of it laid in the sand. Destroyed. ruined.

As the ape people came in to finish off the goddess of frogs, a thought snapped to her.

"Wait a second..."

"I'm the last one left. I'm the last god left...that means..."

She floated in the air, and with a flick of her hands sent off a wave of a power aura that knocked the apes off their literal high horses.

"There's nothing standing in my way...these apes can't stop me..."

"I can become the god of a new world, with Sanae as the precogniter of a new humanity leading us into a golden new future..."

There was a cough.

Suwako turned and saw Sanae was in a wedding dress, and Reimu was in a Tuxedo. Both were very close to eachother and holding hands.

"Well actually Suwako-mama," Sanae began "I'm gay for Reimu-baka and we're together now and we're getting married, so we're going to adopt and never had kids. So I guess your bloodline and your shrine ends with me now, sorry."

Suwako's eyes widened

"..."

"..."

Suwako fell to her knees.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! YOU BLEW IT UP! YOU BLEW IT ALL UP!"

Imagine Spot Moment end!——

Suwako double blinked and returned to reality.

....

Immediately, she poured herself a cup and quickly downed the drink.

Suwako made a note to herself, when this is over pay Yukari to drop potential (and desirable) male suitors into Sanae's bed and hope for the best.

...and then poured a cup for Koakuma and the fairy, if it wanted any of course.

(I'll edit in Yuuka's and Mu's part later, as soon as I can remember what happened. Stupid pointless blocking crap >.>)

For several moments, Gengetsu made no reply to Utsuho's words, nor offered resistance when she was carried off. She merely hung limply in the hell raven's grasp, until she finally muttered, "You should ask before using other people's torture devices, y'know."
Gengetsu blinked her eyes open slowly, giving Utsuho a faint smile. "So, I take it you have to pile drive someone to win? Congrats, but can I request we not go to that basement? To be honest, it scares me a little."

Not that one could tell, seeing as Gengetsu never stopped smiling, but the winged demon wasn't particularly fond of being placed in Yuuka's mercy. Nor this person's, if their tastes were similar.

Hearing the sounds of battle, Gengetsu sighed softly to herself. "Hasn't Mu lost yet? She's strong, but that girl got way in over her head today."

A slight frown crossed the slumbering youkai's face as her dream began to fade into something else. Whatever she was dreaming about had become something... unpleasant for Shujiko.
"No... t rig..." She mumbled quietly, a brief flash of panic on her face.

Suddenly, she bolted to an upright position, hands outstretched. Magic flashed from her palms, as if she were shooting at something.

"DIE, PERVERT!" Shujiko yelled rather lucidly, before falling onto her back. Still asleep, but had probably added another hour to her recovery. She continued to squirm ever so slightly at the sensations.

"Shut up!" Utsuho barked to her. "This flower is now under my protection and I'll make sure you'll well remember what happenes when you mess with her."

So she continue on her way to Yuuka's mansion. Carrying another person after tiring battle was hard, she couldn't move as fast as she used to. That means the road seems to be long for Utsuho, she couldn't help but consider Gengetsu's words for a while.

Roxas is in a pinch again. I'm carrying on his will:

Thanks, but now the thread is blocked again. If you don't mind, I'll post Yuuka's portion here and you can paste it in.

Both forces kept up their volley of danmaku, intent on overpowering the other. Even though Yuuka had decided that power was the way to go, her weakened state meant that Mugetsu was slowly gaining an advantage.

Her advantage was clearly going to Mugetsu's head, as she began to laugh loudly. "How does it feel to be on the losing end, Kazami?! I will reclaim my land and kick you out of here forever!" Yuuka didn't reply, as she was too busy struggling to protect Flandre from any damage.

Not that Flandre really needed it, having decided to chip in. A green cage that consisted of green bullets suddenly formed around them, and Mugetsu's attack faltered as she noticed what was going on.

"I won't let you bully the kind flower lady any more," Flandre said coldly. "I will make you leave."

The bullets began to converge upon Mugetsu, who immediately moved to dodge, but found the attack rather disorientating. A large cluster would move o her location, only to be replaced by another wall of bullets, which would repeat the same movement. Coupled with those yellow orbs that Flandre was firing, as well as Yuuka's uninhibited danmaku, Mugetsu had no real chance, even if she attempted to block. Mugetsu was riddled with danmaku for several moments before the attacks relented, and the defeated woman fell to the ground. Once landed and receiving even more pain, Mugetsu growled in frustration. Damn it all, what happened there?! That little girl was stronger than she thought.

Something landed on her back, and Mugetsu craned her neck to try and see her assailant. It was hard to tell, but she figured it was Elly, who had decided to pin her down.

"Great contribution..." Mugetsu muttered darkly.

Yuuka sighed wearily as she turned to Flandre. "Thank you Flan, but I would rather not get you involved. I fear Mugetsu will see you as an enemy from now on."

"That's okay, I can beat her up!" Flandre replied confidently. "But what about you? You don't seem to be as strong as before..."

Yuuka chuckled as she slowly descended. "No, I'm not... But you got us around that problem handily enough. Now, time to dish out some punishment."

Yuyuko looked the kitten up and down, then smiled and nodded in approval. "He's great! I'm sure Hakurei-san will like him."

The kitten reminded Yuyuko of marshmallows, but he was decidedly not edible and was too cute to eat, in any case.

Marisa took the cup. She didn't want to drink too much, that could impair her expertly honed and totally awesome incident-resolving skills. In a remarkably responsible move, she decided to limit herself to one small cup and one small cup only. She took a sip and leaned back again.

The fairy, on the other hand, stared at the cup like it was a foreign object.

It was rapidly becoming clear that Kaguya had absolutely no idea where she was going, as they began to head down lower and lower back into the forests. Even she was getting a bit worried about their direction.

Eiki stopped squirming and lay there, like a dead fish. If a dead fish was a girl who looked like she was ten-years-old and was wearing fancy clothing, and was also not dead. In any case, it was warmer now.

"I know very well what happens to people who bother Yuuka, but Mu doesn't learn the lesson too well," Gengetsu replied. "And I couldn't bear the thought of her fighting alone and receiving the whole punishment treatment by herself."

Gengetsu continued to lie still as Utsuho spoke again. "Really? You sound a little more deranged than Yuuka, which is a little scary."
As was mentioned before, Gengetsu's perpetual smile didn't betray much, if any fear. "... Oh, would you like me to walk? You seem a little worn out."

Yuuka stared down at the girl in a maid uniform with a cold smile as Elly kept her pinned down. This situation had arisen so many times in the past... with a slight difference in that Gengetsu was usually lying next to her in as bloody a heap as her annoying twin. Oh, and the flower never felt so drained before. Well, regardless, the battle was won.

"Whoever saw this result coming, I wonder?" Yuuka asked mockingly, and anger flashed in Mugetsu's face.

"Says the cheater who needed he-" Her retort was cut short when Yuuka stomped her foot on the back of Mugetsu's head, burying her face in the ground and preventing any more back-talk.

Sighing wearily, Yuuka turned her head towards her gate keeper. "Elly, I can sense Cirno and Chen in the kitchen. Make sure they're all right, would you?"

Elly nodded, looking somewhat down, and immediately headed for the remaining portion of their mansion that hadn't been blown to bits.

"Flandre, you should probably find Patchy, make sure she didn't choke on dust," Yuuka suggested, causing the vampire to pout.

"But I wanna punish her!" Flandre begged, but Yuuka shook her head. With a look of disappointment, Flandre headed for the mansion as well.

Yuuka returned her attention to Mugetsu. "Now then... normally, I'd crush your innards, replace your blood with vinegar and glue a yukkuri to your hands, but I'm feeling especially pissed off today. You ruined a perfectly fun sleep over party, you know."

If Mugetsu replied, it was unheard.

"Although I find myself wondering just what punishment would fit your actions this time..." Yuuka continued thoughtfully.

Elly, meanwhile, quickly reached the kitchen. When several corridors and walls were removed, the trip was a lot quicker. There, she found that accursed sleep-kisser Chen attempting to free the ice fairy from a rack that had fallen upon her.

"... Do I even want to know how that happened?" Elly sighed.
