"Oh gee, a god complex. I never saw that coming." Yuuka spoke sarcastically at Natsumi's words. Her order, however, was slightly worrying. Turning swiftly, Yuuka saw the blade coming for her and brought her hand forward to stop it. All she succeeded in doing was having the blade penetrate her hand.
With a slight frown, Yuuka remained frozen in that position as Natsumi continued talking. When she was finally finished, Yuuka turned her head to the hateful little girl.
"Natsumi, you really didn't have to do all this. You already made it to the very top of my 'most hated' list. As a matter of fact, you get a whole page dedicated to you."
Yuuka pointed at one of her spell cards. "Reflowering of Gensokyo."
Giant flowers shot forward at varying angles and sizes. They were being used as makeshift shields to try and widen the gaps between the bullets for the others to retaliate.
"I know you won't comprehend this, due to you being incredibly stupid and arrogant, but everyone here is capable of defeating you, regardless of how much power you stole." Yuuka smiled coldly. "And you know the funny thing about relying on the strength of others? It just shows how pathetic you are."
Yuuka now returned her attention to Kiriyoshi. It looked like she was being controlled. And Etsuko would most likely be deeply troubled by what Natsumi had said to her. Damn it, she shouldn't have let them come, after all.
"Drop the knife," Yuuka ordered softly. "Please." The flower youkai glanced at Etsuko. "I might need your help here."
Shujiko had been shocked at the things she heard. This Natsumi... she revelled in ruining lives, didn't she? Anger boiled within the will youkai. How could she? Why would she want to do that? Why destroy reality? What gave her the right?
She had to strike at her. Make Natsumi pay. It was reckless, but if it granted someone an opportunity to attack, then fine. Utilising the giant flowers that the mean(?) lady summoned, Shujiko approached, giving the flaming raven a wide berth as she did. There was still plenty of bullets to dodge, but Shujiko didn't to be hit, so like hell she was taking a hit. Plenty of grazing though.
Still, even with her resolve burning, it was too dangerous to get any closer than a few feet. Oh well, good enough.
"Your ambition is nothing to me!" Shujiko roared, spellcard in hand. "Rush of Demise!"
A wave of generic, yet numerous bullets exploded and headed for Natsumi. One of Natsumi's bullets struck her knee, but she ignored the pain and continued to dodge, glaring at the evil girl.
Mokou's response was as predictable as her temper, the immortal sprouting wings of flame and letting the bullets hit her as only someone immune to death or permanent injury can. She didn't risk using a spell-card—with the amount of things already present, she would doubtless just make it impossible for anyone else to dodge—and instead focused on seeing how many ofuda she could throw at the ambition youkai that opposed them.
The green-haired shrine maiden chose a similar method of attack, utilising the snakes granted to her as a shrine maiden of Kanako. As usual, they advanced to beside Natsumi then took a sharp turn to try and hit the youkai. Doing this freed up concentration for such important things as dodging around the danmaku, with no heed paid to where she was aiming and if it would even work.
Mima, focusing as she was on aiming, shouted something at the assembled group along the lines of 'three sparks', not actually attacking yet but instead aiming her sceptre as best as she could whilst not pointing it at the blonde in the way and not getting hit much. A few stray bullets hit her but the pattern, dense as it was, wasn't fiendishly complex. It was, so far, better than fighting Shinki again.
"Yuugi. You hear that?"
Youki and Yuugi had taken up a position at the base of the beanstalk a few minutes ago. After emerging from the underground at a speed somewhere in the high-subsonic, Youki had immediately begun devising a plan of attack. While it was true that he'd never encountered Natsumi before, there were still certain aspects of her strategy that could be deduced from what others had said. Yuugi, on the other hand, started drinking.
"Yep. 's the fight, am I right? They've start'd without us."
"Komachi should be returning with Momiji quite soon. Once she arrives and we decide on a plan, we'll join the fray."
"But Youkiiiii! The fight's gonna be over before that slacker gets back here!"
"Somehow I doubt that. She'll be here in time, don't worry."
"Right. Well, speakin' of time-"
"If this is about-"
"-why're ya so old, Youki-chan? I was meanin' ta ask you earlier, but, ya know, circumstances intervened."
Youki glared at Yuugi for a while. Then he sighed.
"I'm not actually that old. This is one of the side effects of living on the moon for an extended period of time."
"Turns ya hair white an' gives ya wrinkles?"
"Because I'm not a native Lunarian. Something to do with building up a resistance to cosmic radiat-"
"Waah! Science stuff! 'm bored now." She took a sip from her sake dish. "Come onnnnn, ya damn slacker, I wanna fight already!"

Komachi and Ecthel appeared right above the grounds of the Tengu's village.
She let go of the human as she descended near a certain house.
"alright. Time to go find an old friend. I hope she and Aya still aren't made about last night." Komachi said as she walked up to the door.
"Hell, I'm not. And I'm the one he sent to Eiki to be punished." Went Komachi's inner dialog
Komachi turned back to Ecthel and gave a two finger point. "And you remember to be good ok? You promised you would, and you said you don't break promises right?"
AKA the double post Att and I were working on. We're losing too much time here, so I'll edit it in later. *Sweatdrop*. Either way, we can get moving and I can catch up, and edit in the scene where Panko make said promise.
Komachi smiled as she knocked on the door.
Haze, if this isn't how you want to reintroduce Momiji and Hatate, PM me and tell me what to do for this "recruitment" thingy.
"Momiji-San!" Komachi said to the door. "you home?"

Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.Meanwhile, Youki and Yuugi were still waiting.
"-an' then I said, "Ogre? I hardly know 'er!"
"Glad to see your sense of humour hasn't changed after all this time."
"Cold! Too cold, Youki-chan! You're prob'ly just sour 'cause you haven't had a prop'r fight in sixty years! I know I'd be."
"I'm not denying that," replied the white-haired samurai, "I'm just not really paying attention to you at the moment."
"Ohh!" said Yuugi, miming shock. "Ya wound me! I'm wounded! I'll be possess'd of numerous wounds of a woundin' nature, see if I'm not! But why?"
"I've got my ghostly half up at the top of the beanstalk. It's gathering information on the opposition for us."
"Ahh! I was wonderin' where the little marshmallow thing had gotten to. I thought for a moment there ya might have left it behind on the moon!"
"Just what kind of scenario are you envisioning here?"
"Haven't the slightest idea. Ya want some sake?"
"Maybe later."
Aya was simply shocked by what she heard. The entire destruction and remolding of reality, all because she could. And in the prosess ruined the life of a girl, simply as a test run of the power that gauntlet gave her. This girl was heartless, and she deserved the full blunt of some of the stongest in Gensokyo raining down on her. She turned around when Natsumi ordered Kiriyoshi to attack, but it seemed that Yuuka had that covered for now. This allowed Aya to worry on the more pressing concern: the danmaku flying her way.
She immidiately dove through the lines of danmaku and weaved out of the way of the following red ones. There were a few close calls that nearly clipped her wings or her side, but it was nothing the tengu couldn't dodge, her speed and quick eyes letting her go through with ease. The reporter drew a spell card from her pocket, but with three of them alread crowding the battlefield, she did not feel the need to use it just yet. Instead she just focused on dodging through the attack, occasionally throwing a ring of danmaku back at the ambitious youkai and taking pictures of the battle.
Eirin stayed in the back of the fight, taking the time to examine the pattern of the spell card before moving through a gap in the danmaku. It was not a perfect system, one of the weaker ones hitting her in the shoulder, but it was still better than getting slammed with something bigger. She did not attack back or move much from the spot, focusing on looking through the pattern, which would allow her to strike at the perfect moment, and end this quickly.

Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky likeKiriyoshi struggled in vain to force Yuuka's hand towards her body to stab her in a more vital area. Her vacant expression and utterly blank eyes made it clear that this was not her choice. Etsuko was frozen. She had let go of Kiriyoshi and was staring down at the ground, incapable of making a coherent response, or even registering what she had heard.
There were enough spell cards flying around that even Marisa wasn't going to add to it at the moment. She wheeled through the side and narrowly managed to slip through the barely-large-enough gap in Natsumi's spell card. She flung her hand forward fired a burst of star danmaku, spiraling towards their target, and then punctuated it with a thin laser.
Kaguya summoned up as many non-spell card danmaku as she could at once Once she had them aligned in a variety of patterns, she fired them.
Some danmaku managed to strike Natsumi's Shields but the rest hit thin air as Natsumi wheeled to the side and angled herself through danmaku barrages. She responded with a non-spell card attack, waves of black and red danmaku spreading from left and right both.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Witch, Plant, Sparks," Mima shouted, voice somehow loud enough to cut above the din. Maybe Marisa would learn something from all this; combat magic wasn't the only type of thing that was useful when danmaku was flying around. Weirdly, the spirit found avoiding the non spell-card attack more difficult, possibly because it was harder to tell where each bullet ended. It was a good thing that she was as small as possible in this case; the evil magician's wings were tightly folded.
Sanae, not aware of whether or not her snakes were hitting, continued to focus entirely on dodging the patterns. Now really didn't seem like a good time to use a spell-card... there was still the blonde girl in the way! That same blonde girl was the entire reason why Mokou stopped firing, dropping whatever meagre defences she had put in place for the first time in years, and moved—less corporeal than the many ghosts everyone had encountered—to be right behind Natsumi.
If the youkai's danmaku-firing was enough of a distraction, she wouldn't notice the overly large fireball being sent her way from behind.
"Little bit busy!" Yuuka snapped at Mima, still managing to prevent Kiriyoshi from stabbing at her with her injured hand. Although... Yuuka could just multi-task.
Yuuka 2 emerged from the original, grinning widely. It would appear the original had been generous with the power divide. A whopping 90%!
"You want a Spark? I'll show ya one!" Yuuka 2 laughed, holding her umbrella to the sky, magic building at the tip. Blondie was in the way, but that didn't matter. If she was stupid enough to get in her own ally's way, then best to keep her out of the fight.
Meanwhile, the original Yuuka remained in a lock with Kiriyoshi. She had much less strength to work, as evidenced by the obvious strain she was dealing with. The pain in her hand was actually noticeable now. She didn't want to resort to physically striking her, but...
"Etsuko!" Yuuka snapped at the other girl. "I need your help! Kiriyoshi is important to you, right? Prove it!"
Yuuka didn't want to speak so harshly, but if it would elicit a reaction from her, it would be for the greater good.
Shujiko, still dodging wildly as she searched for an opening, almost took a direct hit to the face by another wave of Natusmi's danmaku. Man, black bullets in this place was just unfair!
"Maybe I should use it...?" Shujiko wondered. She had yet to use the spell card... but it didn't seem tactically advantageous right now. From the looks of things, Natsumi was dodging crap tons of bullets, and repelling the rest. Meanwhile, that untested card would leave her extremely vulnerable...
Suddenly, a giant fireball was approaching from behind Natsumi. Wow, when did Mokou move there!
Don't give it away! Shujiko reprimanded herself. Being all awed and fan-girly now would only reveal the attack. She had to make sure Natsumi didn't notice.
...Wait, she had one more of that card left, right?
Shujiko ascended higher, wincing at a bullet that struck her leg and another clipping her shoulder. This would be tricky, but hopefully...
Shujiko produced a spell card, and a second later, bullets were fired at Natsumi again. This time however, they hung in the air around her. No time to add the laser, but hopefully the explosive bullets would keep her in place for a major ass-kicking.
"Yes, Komachi-san. I promised myself to be a good human being, and I will keep it to the end. I will also ensure that Panko-san is a good girl, and she doesn't do anything bad to anyone else!"
Ecthel stood around at the village as he watched Komachi knocking on the door. He started to close his eyes for a moment as he reminded himself the promise he made with Komachi. A few seconds pass, and Ecthel started to wander around the village just to look around for something.
Shutdown sequence initiated."Eh?"
Natsumi whirled, in time to see the fireball slam into her shields. Marisa immediately caught onto what Mima wanted, and called up another Master Spark, firing the laser at the distracted Natsumi. Both sparks hit, and in a blur of motion the white-haired destroyer crashed into the ground. She was obscured by smoke and fire...
"Ha!" Marisa said, "We got her!"
Etsuko managed to snap out of it.
"K-Kiriyoshi-chan, stop!"
Kiriyoshi turned the knife in Yuuka's hand and tor it sideways, raising it back for another stabbing attempt.
"Kiriyoshi-chan!"
What happened next, seemed to take place almost in slow motion. Etsuko attempted to grab Kiriyoshi's arm as the fog yokai tried to stab Yuuka once more. However, she ended up almost directly in the path of the knife...
There was a dull, wet thunk. Etsuko's eyes widened, as the knife pierced her chest.
"K-K-Kiriyoshi-ch-chan..."
Kiriyoshi blinked... and then her eyes and expression softened back to normal. Her eyes widened in utter horror, and she immediately retracted both her hand and her knife. tsuko fell forward, into her arms.
For a few moments, Kiriyoshi stared, tears welling up in her eyes in horror at what she'd done...
And then the wound began to heal.
Etsuko was a yokai magician, after all.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Utsuho continued to shot at Natsumi, while Yasora laughted maniacally.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha! As expected from Yuukarin! I LOVE YOU, flower!"
Utsuho shivered. She didn't find this time prober enough for love confession, especially with Natsumi be able to withstand panishment so far. She asked Yasora to calm down and help her.
"Fine, her shield seems good agains long-distance danmaku, so we are closing in, and try our best melee attacks."
Atomic Fire "Uncontainable Nuclear Reaction Dive"
Utsuho rushed at Natsumi in straight line, ignoring any stray bullets.
Reimu was dansing, the ritual continues.
DO NOT PURSUE LU BUNatsumi's crashing to the ground was an excellent signal for Mima, since it removed Shujiko from the line of fire. Utsuho then got in the way but at least she was somewhere to the side and rather durable. Now, Twilight Spark probably wasn't a good idea; missing would just cause her to knock out the hell raven, but she certainly had an idea of something that could use the same amount of raw strength. After all, on the way to developing the huge laser she had come across something that was essentially hundreds of smaller, zig-zagging beams.
The spirit spun one of her three orbs out of a sleeve as he wings spread into a black disc. The orb was absorbed, and then...
"Twilight Sign ~ Massacre at Dawn!"
Suddenly, there were lots and lots of lasers, firing from every point in the disc and slamming down into the ground everywhere and anywhere around Natsumi's landing point, as well as potentially hitting the hell raven.
Mokou and Sanae kept up what they were doing, though the firepower the latter was bringing to bear increased due to the lack of needing to dodge at that point.
Both Mokou's teleportation thing and this attack were mentioned all the way back at the beginning of the roleplay, remember?
Dodging through the new set of black and red magical missiles, Aya tried her best harrass Natsumi when ever there was a lull in the danmaku. However it seemed that her attacks did not have any lasting effect. In fact natsumi didn't seem to be hurt at all by the attack. She must have a magic shield of some sort. If they wanted to defeat this jerk they were going to have to find away through it. Thankfully Mokou was much quicker on the draw that the tengu was and managed to manuver behind Natsumi, and launched a fireball into her back. This provided as a distraction for a combined master spark from Marisa and Yuuka, drowning the dimensional pocket in light and sound, nearly causing Aya to crash into the wall. But the force of the duo strike sennt the youkai of ambition to the floor, creating a crater where she landed. "Was that it?" Aya asked as she regained her senses, slowling down slightly to get a better view of the smoke.
Even after the master spark smack down Eirin kept her guard up, not at all believing that someone so powerful would go down to a single attack. Mina had the same thought idea, as she followed up with a spell card which could easily be decribed as "overkill". Either she was being careful or she really hated the youkai. But as she waited for the counter attack she saw the girl named Kiriyoshi stab the other girl. Eirin quickly flew towards the two, her medkit already in one hand to save the girl from the stab wound... only to see that the stabee was laready begining to heal from the wound. Eirin knew she should have saw that comming. The fog youkai also seemed to have snapped out of it and was no longer trying to stab anyone. Sometime youkai made her job too easy.
Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky likeYuuka's face twitched in pain as the knife ripped through her hand. Momentarily distracted by the usually-not-too-worrisome injury, she was too slow to stop Etsuko from blocking the next hit with her own body, and fear momentarily took hold.
Thankfully, she was healing. And Kiriyoshi had come to her senses.
"I did not mean to do that," Yuuka sighed. Well, it seemed like she was going to be okay, especially with Eirin here.
Yuuka would have asked the Lunarian if she had anything that would quickly repair her mangled hand, but decided against it. She would rather have Eirin focused on Etsuko and Kiriyoshi, and once she rejoined with the other Yuuka, it would be a trivial matter to fight one-handed.
Speaking of the second Yuuka, she was cackling madly as Natsumi was struck by the Spark's, with a fireball, Utsuho's flaming charge and Mima's spiffy little spell adding to her misery. Awesome!
But it wasn't enough punishment! Not even close! Holding the umbrella aloft, Yuuka 2 pointed it at one of the spell cards floating around the original's head.
"Spring View ~ Sailing Sakura Storm!"
Pink bullets in the shape of petals burst from the card, gathering into a large ball high above the field. After a moment, bullets rained down in Natsumi's general area. Possibly a danger to anyone trying to get close, but hey, at least Utsuho could potentially burn them away or something.
Meanwhile, Shujiko watched from her raised altitude. she wanted to continue the assault, but there was so many bullets already, and one of their allies was charging right in... she didn't want to risk it. Besides, there was no way Natsumi could have possibly-
Oh god damn it I jinxed it. Shujiko thought bitterly.
Marisa bombarded the spot Natsumi had crashed into with pattern after pattern of danmaku, wanted to make sure that the bitch got what she deserved. Kaguya did much the same, for the same reason really. Maybe with less harsh words.
Etsuko was still rather limp in Kiriyoshi's arms, but alive, while Kiriyoshi silently sobbed and hugged her tightly, horribly effected by what she'd almost done.
"Diabolic Ambition " A Monument to Destruction "!"
Marisa's head snapped up. Above them, was Natsumi. Gathering in the palm of Kami no Te was a vast ball of seething black and red energy. A tear hung in the air behind her, a clear sign that she had managed to escape the barrage somewhere along the line. The ball exploded, fragments of it raining down in a plethora of seemingly random patterns, which all formed 'beams' of a sort. Marisa swore and began making moves to dodge.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Utsuho's last dive was made on the same height then Natsumi. During it, Yasora shared her plan with Utsuho:
"You'll need precise timing on this one, Okuu, so listen carefully. Once you'll get in point blank with Natsumi, no sooner, no later, activate Light Energy "High-Tension Blade"
"But big sis, it's ranged attack..."
"High-Tention Blade's maximum power works at point blank. You'll only scratch her with it from range."
"Understood." Utsuho nodded while charging forward.
(OOC: Since this strategy involted timing, it's hard for me to declarate this spellcard without making it arkward or wasting another post only for it. @Anno, would you kindly mention this spellcard in your own post?)

DO NOT PURSUE LU BUMokou's response to the spell-card was the same as her response to the previous one: endure the pain and retaliate. In this case, via means of enough fire to appear to have gained a flamethrower; it wasn't danmaku in the traditional sense but still governed by the spell-card rules.* It also appeared to operate on the principle that more was better, even if it ruined your view of whoever you happened to be attacking.
Mima was a bit too caught up in dodging to retaliate and even then the sheer volume ensured that the spirit got hit. Still, this was the sort of thing that had lead her to completely regenerate her defences the night before; the magician wasn't going down so easily.
It was something of a miracle that the present shrine maiden was dodging this, considering the contortions that the pattern was forcing her into. That explained it all, really.
Eirin drew closer to Etsuko and the distraught Kiriyoshi, moving slowly and careful to not alarm the fog youkai. "Excuse me" she announced her precense to Kiriyoshi, sounding calm as behind her several of the others were pounding the ground with enough fireworks to make the 4th of July envious "I'm here to help". Without even touching Etsuko she could tell that she would make a full recovery, but it not the top hat girl that needed help at the moment, it was Kiriyoshi. The Eientei doctor place her hand on the wounded's neck as part of the ploy, before giving a reassuring smile. "She is going to be fine. It was not your fault, there's nothing to be worry about"
However, just as predicted, Natsumi was not done with them. Something during the rediculous bombardment she gapped away into a position above before summoning another spell card to unleash a rain of beams onto our heroes. Eirin found all too quickly that this newest attack was completely random, making her previous stratagy void and forcing her to dodge the old fashion way. She found that dodging was not her strong suit, as she juked into a pocket of danmaku with no exit gap and was forced to bring her arms up to block a beam, knocking her back and sending pain through her body.
Aya was faring much better, insane speed and reflexes letting her find herway through the maze of shots. But it was not as easy as she made it look, the tengu trying her best to not be trapped like the medic had. She soon found the safest place form the spell cards, which was near the sides, which the shards had spread out far enough for more gaps to emerge. It was still an insane spell card, and displacement of wind above her left wing told her she had nearly been hit. The tengu was growing tired of being on the defensive, and got her spell card ready once the beams stopped.
Sometimes I even amaze myself. Currently: Nice and sneaky likeI must never think again, Shujiko vowed, hearing Natsumi call out her spell card. And at this range...
The bullets came quick, and Shujiko retreated, practically bouncing off of the ground and continuing to put distance between her and the enemy.
She hadn't escaped completely unscathed, though. Due to the surprise and proximity, several bullets had struck her body as she moved back. She ignored the pain and focused on dodging the far more random pattern.
At this rate, Shujiko probably wouldn't last too long, though. If she kept ignoring any more hits, it was only going to screw her over later, and Mokou had proved that there was a threshold to what she could overcome with just sheer resolve.
Swinging her arm in Natsumi's direction, the will youkai sent a wave of bullets at Natsumi.
Her spellcard ending, Yuuka 2 pouted when it became apparent Natsumi had completely dodged it. "Gap haxxer!" She yelled at the hateful youkai.
"Idiot," The original grumbled, grabbing Yuuka 2 by the back of her collar and practically head-butting her to re-form.
Now whole, Yuuka swung her umbrella, somehow unfolding the thing without the use of her damaged hand, and used that to deflect any bullets coming her way, or the girl's.
"Doesn't matter what she can do," Yuuka muttered to herself. "One of her many, many enemies is me."
Again, magic began to form at the tip. The umbrella simply folded by itself, and Yuuka raised it to the sky, ignoring any bullets that happened to hit her.
"And I don't like having names on that list."
Yuuka swung her umbrella, firing an arc of pure magic energy. Similar to Master Spark, except not quite as controlled.
By now, the wound in Etsuko's chest had completely closed, sealed without any sign that it had been there(aside from the thin tear in Etsuko's dress). This didn't stop Kiriyoshi from looking up at Eirin, nodding every-so-briefly in acknowledgment, and returned to hugging the still-stunned Etsuko and crying.
The danmaku battered Kaguya's already weak defenses and tore threw them entirely, obliterating her before she could dodge even. Of course, this might just work in her favor...
Marisa was surrounded by black and red danmaku. She'd taken one to the arm and another to the stomach, but had otherwise managed to keep dodging. They hurt, even more then they usually did. Considering how easily they had practically disintegrated Kaguya... it was evident that, somehow, Natsumi was cheating.
Marisa would've responded to that, if not for the fact she was stuck dodging. At the moment.
Natsumi continued her spell card, when... there was a sound behind her. Natsumi whirled, in time to take a thin laser to the shielding around her face. Kaguya had used her resurrection to teleport, and was preparing another laser....
When Natsumi drove Kami no Te through her stomach.
Kaguya's eyes widened, as the gauntlet's sharpened fingers pierced everything in her midsection and came out the other side, the entire hand coming out of her back.
"Gghhk..." Blood trickled out of the corner Kaguya's mouth, as she tried to remove herself from the gauntlet so she could regenerate, to no avail. Natsumi swung her around and proceeded to use her as makeshift danmaku, sliding Kami no Te out of the immortal princess and hurling her at the charging Utsuho.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."The other immortal's eyes widened as Kaguya was blown up, the stream of flame stopping. This made it easy to see when the lunar princess regenerated... and was stabbed through the stomach.
How dare she. How dare she. Kaguya was Mokou's, to kill or anything else! She hadn't devoted over a thousand years to a single person just to have some idiotic youkai with the same hair colour ruin everything just as it had started to go right! She was going to burn for this, burn in the deepest pit of hell... after her body was reduced to nothing more than ash on the breeze. Rules? The rules didn't let you run through someone with a gauntlet; the spell-card rules weren't worth the paper they were first written on!
The flame, this time, wouldn't even distinguish between friend or foe: any sane person would get the hell out of there before being consumed in the raising, boiling torrent of crimson light. It was hard for this place to look more hellish.
"Nightmare," the evil spirit said, joining in the assault with something that suspiciously resembled the dark version of the Master Spark. The main difference appeared to be that it was acidic; the beam would eat whatever it came into contact with.
The shrine maiden didn't try and fight Natsumi during the lull, her dodging had brought Sanae to Shujiko. Now that the danmaku had stopped, it was a simple matter to tug at the will youkai and rush back towards the entrance, where it was easiest to breathe—no fire using up oxygen, for a start—and easiest to dodge.
Shujiko had practically frozen when Kaguya was pierced by the gauntlet. For a moment, she had forgotten Kaguya could regenerate as anger welled within her. She dared to kill the princess on top of everything else she had done? Well, if she wasn't going to stick to the rules...
Shujiko was just about to charge for Natsumi and pound her to oblivion when Sanae began dragging her away from danger. While this had the beneficial effect of giving Shujiko time to remember the blatantly obvious, a physical beat down was too awesome an idea to just give up on.
"Lemme go! I'm trying to fight here!" Shujiko protested as other spells flew overhead.
Utsuho didn't have much time to react, so she just rammed into Kaguya. Using her speed as advantage, she should crash an immortal back into Natsumi, and pin two of them with a sword.
CRASH!
This didn't go quite well. Utsuho lost a trajectory and crashed into the ground, or whatever was playing ground's role in this place. Yasora wasn't amused by this fact.
"For the f***'s sake, I would totally scored a hit on this bitch, if not for you meddling alien!"
DO NOT PURSUE LU BU

"This sounds boring. You are lame." Utsuho said in most unamused tone.
"I must agree. While you can destroy the world, and I don't give a damn, the thought that someone like you has that power vexes me."
"I'll eat you and have your power for myself. Explosion Sign "Peta Flare"

DO NOT PURSUE LU BU
