The Chew Toy of Gaming
I thought that too. Then I checked the PS Store. The DLC is gone for PS 3, and I doubt crossbuy will get around that.

Lampshade Hanging: It's a lifestyle.I bought the DL Cs for the PS 3 when they were on sale before they were taken off and I automatically got them for the Vita version as well(strangely, the DL Cs for the Vita version weren't one sale along with the PS 3 ones, but you you still got them cheaper if you got the PS 3 ones back then,go figures...).People have told me they bought the DL Cs for the Vita and they still automatically got the PS 3 ones as well even after they were taken down,so I think you should get DL Cs for the Vita while they are still avaliable so that you can use them on your PS 3 as well.
I can confirm that you can get the DLC for the Vita as a backdoor to get it for the PS 3. Sorry, XBOX users.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.DISCLAIMER: The following information should be taken with the largest grain of salt imaginable. That being said...
Not sure what to believe on this one. It almost sounds too good to be true plus there was that whole purging of the series.
I'm going to go with fake until proven otherwise.

This song needs more love.Yeah, well, I did say to take it with a grain of salt.
Anyway, call me grossly optimistic, but this gives me more reason to tune in to the Play Station Experience that's apparently coming next week.
I'm extremely skeptical but if true, I have mixed feelings.
On one hand, I love the series and would be stoked to see it back. There's also a back bench of characters who never got love in the previous games (Black Panther immediately comes to mind) who would be good fits given their increased prominence, not even counting newer characters like Ms. Marvel.
On the other, it sounds like it'd be a PS 4 exclusive (ugh), and given the current slate of things, I'd expect the X-Men and Doctor Doom to be Exiled from Continuity.

Marvel games don't really seem to have much difficulty with the X-Men characters (see LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and most of their mobile games) so I wouldn't worry about them and Dr. Doom usually enjoys the same luxury. The rest of the Fantastic Four might not be so lucky.

This song needs more love.I believe it was due to him being more convenient to fit all the F4 powers into.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...If they can't use Dr Doom for the game, I could actually see Marvel replacing him with Ultron, giving him alot of Doom's moves and some of his own. Would he be seen as a Replacement Scrappy? Oh god yes. But Marvel wouldn't care.
Similarly, some of Super Skrull's techniques could be given to Kamala Kahn/Ms Marvel, such as the stretchiness and powered fists. Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel would replace Nova, since Star Lord completely replaced him for Guardians of the Galaxy.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Pretty good response vid from Max, especially when taking into account the work he's done for Killer Instinct.
I'm skeptical overall, but it's interesting just how many people are buzzing right now, and it's certainly got a whole bunch of eyes turned to PSX. It helps, given recent news, that both Marvel and Capcom are in positions where they could actually look to collaborate again. And it's going to be hype as hell if it manages to be true.
Well with Street Fighter V, Capcom brought back alot of fan favourite Darkhorses people had been wanting to see return for years, and Ono flat out said that Western popularity was a big influence with characters like Alex. So we could see a similar fan influence for the Capcom side.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...If this is real, could Asura get in, or would he be too overpowered?
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierI wouldn't count Nova out given how heavily the company has been pushing the property the last few years.
I would like to see Black Panther with some super moves similar to Sabretooth's from MVC 2.
With the marvel cinematic universe ratcheting up and spreading out, this is a pretty good time for a game like this. Dr. Strange just had his movie, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is coming out, and Black Panther's pretty much a shoo in to advertise his, especially since he was a hit with crowds in Civil War.
Given Capcom's fighting properties besides Street Fighter are dead, though, and even the latter's borderline struggling, I'm kind of worried they'll double down and only stick to the most popular characters on their side.

about the DLC issues,I think the DL Cs are stil avaliable for the Vita port, and if you buy them, you will also get the DL Cs for the PS 3 version free of extra charging.
