Here's something I wrote in another discussion board that fits here more.
I'll confess something. I've never played any version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3. But you know what? I'm not so worried. Why? Because I have a feeling inside that one day, obviously not today, but maybe tomorrow, or next month, or next E3, or maybe 2-3 years from now, we will get a Marvel vs. Capcom 4 for Xbox One and PS 4. And it will have everything anyone who loves the sheer idea of Marvel vs. Capcom has been asking for. Chances are Disney knows how much people (probably) worship this game series and maybe, just maybe, Capcom will just stop being ruled by greedy fat cat Communists and be replaced by people who actually do know what exactly made Capcom one of the greats of yore. This Marvel vs. Capcom 4 would right the wrongs made by Mv C 3 and would do this:
- Bring back Ken, Cammy, Zangief, and M. Bison.
- Bring back guys like Venom and Cable.
- Update with whatever patches are necessary regularly.
- Add Asura from Asura's Wrath (admit it, he'd be a kickass addition to the series).
- Keep Deadpool. And Rocket Raccoon. And make him better than he was in U Mv C 3
- Have not just classic Mega Man, but also Mega Man Volnutt, and especially Mega Man X.
And for a (basic) storyline...
- It would have Chakravatrin (also from Asura's Wrath) and Ultron (from the Marvel universe) teaming up and messing around with the Marvel and Capcom universes...because they have the power to do that and they love being assholes. Capcom characters would face Ultron and Marvel characters would face Chakravatrin (like how Street Fighter X Tekken had SF characters face Ogre and TK characters facing Akuma).
Now, does all this sound far-fetched? Of course it does. But who knows for sure? It might actually happen. It just might. If they do end up announcing Mv C 4 sometime in the near future, it will prove that Disney does know how to handle Marvel and that Capcom is not ruled by a bunch of greedy, corrupt, parasitic, freemason pooftahs. (And yes, I do watch Monty Python. Big deal.)
My point is, I know there will be a Marvel vs. Capcom 4, one day, someday, most likely when we least expect it. And when it does come...it will be brilliant.
For the record, it was going to be Chakravatrin teaming up with Thanos, but then the guy who advised me to have this here mentioned that they already used Thanos in Marvel Super Heroes and they would probably use Ultron to tie in to Avengers 2.
@ Emperordaein: you helped make what I thought was already a great idea and made it even better. I commend you. Stay gold.

^ Disney would probably love the idea of continuing to milk the series. From what I hear, though, Capcom is nearly broke - which might cause a few problems in creating a Mv C 4, at least soonish.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I hear what you're saying. Kick out the greedy fat cat Freemason pooftahs in charge of Capcom now and replace them with guys who actually give two shits about what Capcom used to be.
Plus, Ultron and Chakravatrin team-up? Genius, if I do say so myself.
EDIT: Aren't communists referred to as Jerkass in behavior?
EDIT 2: The "fat cat" part is something I kinda got from Canadians. Figure of speech.

Tiny nitpick, but we could do without more than 5 Street Fighter characters already.
Besides, Haggar is basically a cooler Zangief, so...
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiHuh. I thought some people were raging that Cammy, Ken, and Zangief didn't show up in Mv C 3.
One major complaint about Mahvel 2 was that it's Capcom side was oversaturated with Street Fighters, so I imagine the ones who were raging about that were just a very vocal minority.
Same thing with the Marvel side being oversaturated with X-Men in 2.
It's still somewhat present in 3 in fact, with Street Fighter and X-Men each getting 5 to 6 reps, but it wasn't as bad as it was in 2 where they were getting like, 10 to 12.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiStreet Fighter only got 4 reps, but your point still stands. I'm just wondering how Resident Evil also got that many characters.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Ah, right. Thanks. Got confused for a sec.
Also, Resident Evil happened to be one of Capcom's more successful series after 4 and 5, so go figure.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiCommunism is diametrically opposed to greed and corporate "fat cats", so "greedy fat cat Communists" is sort of an oxymoron (Not that they wouldn't exist, but they'd be self-defeating and hypocritical).
But that's off-topic.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Ah, thanks for the info.
, oookay, I was not expecting this kind of reaction...
How about just Cammy instead of her, Ken, and Zangief?
Also, wouldn't Asura make a great addition to the Capcom side?
And how did people take Deadpool showing up in Mv C 3? Loved him? Hated him?
People would piss less about just Cammy, indeed. Personally I'd like to see Juri make a cut for a future Vs Game.
Asura's cool, so yeah.
And obviously enough, people loved Deadpool. I don't I've seen anyone complain about his addition.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiAs an aside, three Mega Men would probably be massive overkill. I would be happy to see Mega Man classic and Zero back, though - and if Zero kept his X costume, with a new voice pack and perhaps a reference to Mega Man X3 , where he got to wield the Z-Saber, all the better! Also, Aile might be fun, with a mechanic for switching between different biometals... but I suspect we'd get complaints for not including Roll, so I'm not sure about that one.
I demand we get the Armless Tiger Man on Marvel's side.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!A new discussion topic has risen.
So what say you? Do you think Marvel and Disney would really be willing to pull the plug on all future Marvel Vs Capcom tournaments?
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiWell alright then change the marvel side to Venom and Gambit since they're like super popular dark 90s anti-hero types.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowVenom would be Flash Thompson these days, though, so less superdark, perhaps.
Oh yeah.
Would Carnage be possible?
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowReally? I figured having 3 Mega Men would more than make up for the lack of Mega Man in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Well, how does Ultron sound like for a playable character? And Chakravatrin as the final boss?

Having one would make up for it enough. Trust me. Three and you'll get people complaining about "too many Mega Men."
Also, Ultron would be boss.

(First and foremost, can you straight up post the Vo D link? Embeds are blocked on my home network.)
The short answer is... yes.
The longer answer is... yes. But it might not wanna be the first fighting game you want to get into. If you want to learn strong fundamentals, you're better off starting with Street Fighter. As for a game that involves crazy mix-ups, long combos, and hella cheap stuff, you can't go wrong with Mahvel, baybee.
Of course, if you just wanna watch the madness and the salt, then pull up a chair and enjoy, 'cause Marvel's usually accepted as the most hype game at a competitive level.
