Y'know, it'd be funny if there was a new version of of Mv C 3 coming out and the first characters revealed were Mayday "Spider-Girl" Parker and Megaman.

There is a disturbing lack of Chuck Greene.
remember Marvel Mangaverse where Spider-Man was a ninja or something? Apparently Mary Jane was trained in the same clan or something and now has similar powers. Also Black Cat is a cyborg or something.
Are explosions science?Since my friends are coming over for a day of fighting games soon, I decided to pop this game back in after like, months of it collecting dust to train a tad.
Found a new team I might try.
- Ghost Rider (Hellfire)
- Nemesis (Launcher Slam)
- Vergil (Rapid Slash)
I found that Ghost Rider and Nemesis can get together for some combo shenanigans, and Nemesis can DHC into Vergil for an easy Spiral Swords combo.

Dude, most, if not nearly all of the Mangaverse heroes were female. And if they started male, there's no chance in hell they'll stay that way.
Oh yeah. Also Nick Fury was evil and getting it on with the smokin' sexy Black Cat

The fact that the Manga version of Marvel is filled with perverseness doesn't exactly help regarding some of the stereotypes associated with Anime/Manga.

,
I distinctly remember seeing one cover (for X-Men, I think) involving either tentacles or bondage (or both). My mind broke for a brief second.
@ Mighty: I wouldn't have minded the Blue Bomber or the Raging Cajun. I've explained the first more times than I can count as civilly as I possibly can in light of the current situation at Capcom and I feel that nearly any past X-Men would've been a better choice in MvC3 than Sentinel. Excluding Capcom's explanation about the fluidity of Venom's moves (which may or may not be legitimate), I would only be accepting (if that) of Venom if it was Anti-Venom.
To this day, however, I have to wonder who those eight characters were that we lost because Capcom rushed out Ultimate to capitalize on the holiday rush (which worked out swimmingly for them). One of them would've certainly been Jon (Niitsuma would've had him as the fourth Darkstalkers rep back as far as vanilla) and Gene was in the running for both vanilla and Ultimate (Ammy or Gene? Why not both, Capcom?), never mind that the Marvel side could've used some more female representation (Ms. Marvel, Songbird, maybe Spider-Woman, Squirrel Girl if you wanted a kick out of it, etc.).
@ Badger: I rocked Spidey/Ghost Rider/Trish from time to time. I think they have some good chemistry as well.

"Raging Cajun" is Gambit, right?
Also, I keep forgeting that Spencer and Arthur are in this game.

That is correct, mon ami.

It's less hate for the character and more disapproval with the reasoning behind his inclusion: MvC2 pandering, short and simple, and it's not even the good kind. Sentinel, the prime example of cannon fodder within the Marvel universe, is here mainly because of his infamy in MvC2. I know that licensing for certain characters curbed some possible roster choices, but if they were going to try to rope in the MvC2 crowd, they could've at least went with someone more relevant to X-Men lore in recent years or maybe listened to a fan poll or two and tried to use someone heavily requested. In the case of Gambit and Psylocke, I doubt there'd be that much contention since they were topping the lists for the Marvel side in nearly every poll.

Talk about a catch-22.
