Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 confirmed.

I'm actually pretty excited for this, because just going off the trailer, it looks more like a whole new game than just Marvel Vs Capcom 3 with more characters. And personally I think it's silly to hate everything a company does just because you don't like some things (okay, with Capcom, a lot of things) they do, so I'll buy it.

I may actually buy this too, but that's mainly because I never got around to buying the first.

Also, who is Firebrand and what is he/she/it from?

I don't care what Beorc says (No offense), I'd honestly like to see a Bo F Ryu even if they share the same name. They look distinct enough from each other to eliminate confusion (Or simply call Bo F Ryu D.Ryu). Plus it saves on certain voice clips.

Firebrand is a Red Arremer from Ghosts n Goblins aka the flying red fuckers.

Hell I'd be happy with someone who wasn't Ryu. Fou Lu or Rei or one of the Ninas. I would prefer a Ryu though. 3 would be my dream pick.

I will be sorely disappointed if Nicholas Cage does not voice Ghost Rider. For he is the canon version of him.

Well, Nina 2 would have low chances due to her hypothetical moveset being similar to Storm. But yeah, it'd be pretty cool.

Despite my hatred at Capcom for the whole MML 3 business, I'll most likely be getting this game.

Probably because I still haven't bought the first one yet.

And I thought that they couldn't get Strider because of Copyright Issues.... Eh, as long as he's in.

I expect X-Factor to work pretty differently in this game anyways, since I heard there were a lot of complaints about it.

Well, i'm happy Ghost Rider's in at least. I'm not going to buy this though... I already spent cash on the first game and such and such.

You know what would make me happy though? Endings that consist of more than two still images, a survival mode, more character interaction, a marvel-made comic as a preorder bonus and a mission mode that's more akin to Mortal Kombat 9's tower of trials. Because the original game was sorta... Barren.

Well, I hoped that meant they'd tone it down in other ways, although you never know...

What was the Tower of Trials like? Because I've been thinking I'd like a fighting game to have a mission mode that doesn't almost exclusively require ridiculously long combos.

It was really varied. Usually you ah a handicap, like your attacks did less damage over time or your enemy could heal themselves by attacking you. Others where more unique, like shooting galleries using characters' special moves or, yes, combo exhibitions.

Some of them even had little stories to go along with them :P
