The change to the missing poster is so good, unlocked Zodiac by just gettin with Cain to Ultra Greed and suiciding by bombs in a run broken by the D12. I had a Chaos card but missed, so I used plan b of the book shadows and the high damage to win. It killed Ultra Greed before the book of shadows invencibility ended, I am happy I didn't take chocolate milk or
ludo when they showed up.

Um. Started today's Daily Run as a guy wearing a suit with black hair and glasses. Only item is the Gamekid. What's going on?

Well, having finally beat Mega Satan in BOI:R, I finally downloaded Afterbirth. Looks like I didn't have too much to be worried about.
I like Greed Mode. Nice and quick, good if you want a speedy game without having to plunk in a lot of time. (Something I have issues with when gaming in general.)
By 'Post-It Note,' Is everyone referring to the list of symbols showing what each character has completed? (Boss Rush, Mom's Heart, Sheol, Cathedral, etc)
Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.I just got the game yesterday. Was waiting forever for a decent discount.
It turns out I really suck at the game. Specifically, I really suck at dodging. I also have really bad luck...Ragman was one of the Basement bosses on my very first run. With no damage upgrades. Actually, my first 3 or 4 runs had no damage upgrades at all...and then finally I came up against The Fallen and it dropped Brimstone. Obviously, I got carried by that, managing to finally defeat Mom.
And just now, thanks to finally having decent damage (and a very clutch Cricket's Head drop during the Mom fight) I managed to get to Mom's Heart! I ran the wrong way during her rotating Brimstone attack and died...
◊ Took me too many lives (had Dead Cat) to figure out how to dodge the tech shots from the eyes in the fight.
I know the items I got were so good it was a total waste I didn't manage to survive till super meat boy carried me through it...note

They tend to charge in your direction when they're aligned with you (like the charger worms) and won't stop until they hit something, so bait them and dodge, then then hit them from behind. Also, any status effect can be applied even if you hit them in the front, so poison is good. They're called Knights, by the way.
Daily Run Isaac is wearing a santa hat today.
So after getting my hands on Rebirth last week, I have finally taken down Isaac's psycho mom. The RNG was good to me on this run, giving me Dark Matter on one of my first Devil Rooms (giving me fear tears), followed by Scorpio (giving me poison tears) and Infestation II (giving me Infestation tears), and I got mostly good effects on my pills, including a good amount of Pretty Flies. I also got a good amount of health, including four Black Hearts near the end. But when I decided to use the Joker card in Depths II before fighting Mom, I landed in a Devil Room with Brimstone, which I grabbed pretty much immediately because Brimstone is one of the most awesome items of the game — and thanks to Scorpio, Brimstone's beam was green. Between these and the other items I grabbed (including the Paperclip which pretty much ended my key-woes chest-wise), Mom and her mooks went down hard.

My last run through Isaac was a badass run. I got a good amount of health early on, as well as the Goat Head (which guarantees a Devil Room at the end of every bossfight). My first Devil Item was Lil' Brimstone, who carried me through most of the early content until the damage items I picked up were enough to outstrip the damage I did with Lil' Brimstone. Along the way, I picked up Guppy's Paw, which I promptly used to turn every Heart I had that wasn't a Soul Heart or a Black Heart into a Soul Heart. Guppy's Head gave me a good amount of flies, which often tore through bosses and other enemies. Fear tears were where I really started to kick serious ass. Mom and her mooks went down hard, and I went back into the Womb.
While I was in the Womb, between my Guppy flies, my two pets and my badass shots and damage I pretty much tore through the better part of the bad guys. Not even the bosses were enough to even give me a challenge anymore. And after collecting Cricket's Head and the Dead Cat, I went into Kitty Mode, meaning I didn't have to worry about spikes or Creep again, and I was able to collect more stuff than I was previously able to. I fought Mom's Heart for the first time, and pretty much wrecked it. The Chest appeared immediately after, and I had thoughts about entering it and finishing the run, but one last Devil Room opened up, with a pit leading down. I've watched enough Isaac Let's Plays to know what this meant. It was time to go KICK THE DEVIL'S ASS.
So on I went to Sheol. Most of the enemies of Sheol didn't give me a whole lot of trouble, but I ended up getting just the slightest bit cocky by the end, and one by one, I lost all of my soul and black hearts until all I had was the Red Heart I got from the Dead Cat by the time I got to Satan. But still, with nine lives and the tenth one from the Collar, I decided to go for it.
It took me three tries in order to put Satan down. The first try saw me tearing the ever living crap out of the Fallen and Satan's first form, only to get stomped by his hoof. The second try got nowhere due to getting hit with a stray bullet from one of the Fallen's attacks. The third try was the asskicking try. I was tearing down Satan's HP with every descent of his hoof, and he went down after three or so attempts to add a third life to his collection.
I kicked the Devil's ass.
I KICKED THE DEVIL'S ASS.
This is the best run I've gone through yet, and I'm looking to unlock the Cathedral and the Chest after this.

...
I'm never going to put that much time into the game.
