[up]Its a randomly generated Roguelike made by one of the guys who made Super Meat Boy.

From what's known so far, its looking to be pretty damn good.

Anyone picked it up?

It is very entertaining and has good replay value!

I heard it's a Roguelike cross between the original Zelda and Robotron, crossed with his trademark sense of Dark Comedy.

This is good.

Halloween update coming out today!

No halloween themes but a level called Sheol. (Google it.)
As well as extra items and stuff and an extra character.

Apparently the extra character is named Eve. Sweet!

Well, I think this warrants another run through the game.

I posted a topic on this game a while ago. People thought it was offensive, and took it down.

Really the game IS offensive. Behind all the grossness and Hilariously Abusive Childhood jokes, though, there is a solid game with elements of Zelda, Smash TV and some of the more forgiving roguelike games.

[up] So its the videogame equivalent to a south park episode?

[up]Dude, it's an Edmund freaking McMillen game. If you've played Super Meat Boy and his Newgrounds games, it's a lot like those.

I got this in the Humble Bundle yesterday, and haven't had chance to play anything else from it! It's a fun, fairly deep little game with a lot of replay value. But like a lot of these sorts of games, I suck at it. I can't make it past the caves without finding enemies way out of my league and getting chewed up.

I also seem to usually end up with too many speed boosts, and go careening into things I didn't want to bump into.

It certainly helps if you get lucky.

My first win had me finding the x-ray glasses(which always tell you where the secret room is and lets you enter without using a bomb) on floor 1, and an item that gave +2 max HP in the secret room on floor 1. From there it was a breeze.

Eurgh Eve is aggravating.

Her low damage really makes it tougher and her starting items are contray to how you should be playing.

[up] I found her Whore of Babylon perk to be rather useful if used correctly, and when paired with Soul Hearts can be especially good.

Got to Mom (and beat her exterior form) three times now. Have yet to score a "kill".

Finally killed mom 10 times and got ???

I tried him out a bit and after the first two tries (where I died), I was able to get to the Really-True-It's-Real-This-Time Final boss and killed him.

I was surprised at how well I did that game...until I checked the wikia and saw that there was a bug that made ??? invincible if you took a full heal pill...

But I did redo it (with Isaac this time) and killed Satan legit. May I say that Fetus in a Jar is an awesome uprade ? Because it is. And it became overkill when I found the Common Flu upgrade. Except against Death. His horse is a bitch to hit with bombs.

Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.

Which turrets? The ones that are unkillable and can still fire at you for a second after you've completed the room, or the eyes that laser you almost before you get a chance to move when you're fighting the heart?

Yeah, I've fought a few of those, but they're not in the very open club of 'things that killed onFyre'. At least they're up front about their shoop da whoopingness.
