I'm getting pretty impatient about that too. This is taking way too long.
As fucking sick as Gulus Gammamon was I'm also getting kind of tired of the Mot W format. I know this is four-cour but like... come on now.
tbh I like the motw format for Ghost Game because it has basically turned into the writing staff writing up official Digimon creepypasta
Question to the forum: The Digimon Reference book and and several examples in different anime portray the Digital World of having a active ecology where Digimon prey on each like Dinotigermon and Gusokumon. The question is, how do you think predator Digimon of equal or smaller size to their prey eat the fallen Digimon? Is by Tamers style where they just absorb the data or do they take chunks out before the body completely disintegrates. What do you think? Sorry this is kinda of random but it's been on my mind for a while.
"Mass-production models have to show their pride, too!"-Gimmy, leader of the Grapearl team.Still, at some point the hints of a larger plot would have to start, or something.
So, what do you think is the next Digimon will be? The only one I remember that has petrifying powers was Cockatorimon, but nothing involving seers or, obviously being anywhere near human passing.
Wake me up at your own risk. It's Phelesmon. You can see him in the center of a circle of people wearing a hood. And so far the bigger plot is connected to BlackTailmon Uver. and their connection to Hokuto, as well as why all these Digimon are trapped in the human world while Uver. can just come and go as they please.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!Angoramon digivolved this episode but it did very little, as did a team up from all the partner digimon. They really sold Phelesmon as a reoccurring antagonist that's gonna need the team to all be ultimates to even scratch him. Plot is still being drip fed to us but hey, its a start.
Yeah. I was disappointed that Symbaangoramon didn't get the big fight to himself. Like, obviously he couldn't beat an Ultimate level on his own but you'd think they'd let him debut against someone on his level so he could really strut his stuff.
That being said, yeah. Phlesmon is being set up, same as Dracumon. And next week, we get Tree Marlon Brando, aka Cherrymon.
One Strip! One Strip!I kind of really dislike how the no killing rule applied to the heroes makes them look stupidly weak and pathetic compared to previous seasons' tamers. They can talk down the misunderstood and fundamentally good digimon but can't fight actual threats worth dick.
We'll see how long that lasts I supposed.
Or maybe the emphasis on talking down enemies is meant to contrast GulusGammamon, who does flat out kill his enemies.
One Strip! One Strip!I believe that to be the case yeah. They need to learn eventually though.
Symbaangoramon looks cool.
Guess Phelesmon is being set up as the Big Bad? And it took 15 episodes for all three kids to digivolve their partners so who knows how long til they become capable of taking on an Ultimate.
Nah he's an underling. Some of his lines implied he was reporting to someone else higher up the foodchain but he's definitely up there in whatever big bad evil org/army/w/e group is doing evil digimon stuff.
I just love that Angoramon's method of rescuing them wasn't just attacking, but freaking hotwiring a forklift.
Interesting that Mika and Aoi weren't brought into the Digital Field with Ruli. Was that a conscious choice on Ruli's part, or did they get left behind because of their not having Digivices?
And it's finally time for SymbareAngoramon. A noble rabbit born from the will to protect. And one strong enough to take out five Boogeymon at once, and even put up a good fight against a Perfect level like Phelesmon long enough for the others to show up. Now, all three of the partners can finally reach the Adult Level.
And it would seem we now have an Arc Villain. As while he may have freed his statues, Phelesmon is far from finished, and will definitely be making a return to finish what he started. So now we have Phelesmon's troupe, Dracmon, the D-Brigade (?), and GulusGammamon for a rouges gallery.
My only disappointment is that while it looked like Ruli was going to show Mika and Aoi Angoramon, they stopped her from doing so. I guess it will have to wait, since they made clear they're willing to wait until Ruli is ready herself. And I honestly can't wait, cause I'm still thinking these two and Nomura will be the Juri, Hirokazu, and Kenta of this series and get their own partners.
@Silentedge: He still took out five Boogeymon all at once in a matter of seconds, and managed to hold back Phelesmon's attack until the others showed up, so SymbareAngoramon is no lightweight.
- Clockmon probably deserved to, but Hiro and Gammamon took pity on him and saved his life, which convinced him to change his ways.
- Mummymon was Not Evil, Just Misunderstood and gladly fixed his mistake once he was informed by Hiro he was screwing up.
- Dracmon pulled an I Surrender, Suckers and only revealed his true colors when out of earshot, so they had no reason to think he needed to die.
- Pumpmon was the same case as Mummymon.
- Majiramon was placated once Kiyoshiro fixed the mess Jellymon caused and apologized.
- Sirenmon just wanted someone to listen to her singing and was placated once Hiro sang with her.
- Yatagaramon was satisfied with the birds it freed just being allowed to continue being free.
- Sistermon Ciel and MetalFantomon had to be dragged into the Digital World by BlackTailmon Uver. after they proved too strong for everyone.
- Kinkakumon & Ginkakumon accepted their loss to Jellymon and were satisfied with just sparing with her and getting booze from Hokuto's stash if they win.
- Reppamon was more a danger to himself and others and had to be stopped before it cut off it's own tail.
- Koemon just wanted to play with someone.
- Zassoumon was going to be killed by WezenGammamon, but the real Zassoumon stepped in to stop him and offered to take the clones away so they wouldn't cause trouble.
- Sealsdramon did get killed, but by GulusGammamon, and it's death is only treated as horrifying because of who killed it.
- Phelesmon though is too strong to be put down by just the partners. Even outside of the fact he's a Perfect level, it's also a Fallen Angel Digimon, and past series have shown them to be stronger than others at their own level. There's little chance three adults could have managed to kill him on their own.

Vegeta: I'm back bitches! Most likely the latter, they don't have Digivice-V so they didn't get brought in. Weird since Ruli's thoughts at that time implies they will get brought in.....
I doubt the latter is a threat, seems like it's another neutral wild Digimon falling prey to an evil one.
——
Also count me in as one of you who are kinda disappointed S-Angoramon didn't get to do much in its debut fight. I also guess I'm not alone in thinking Reppamon episode was the perfect episode to do it after all.
——
I personally think it varies between Digimon, depending on the species. Some just absorb their prey, while others physically eat them.

I did say they only looked pathetic when faced with real threats and are better at talking down the non-threats.
If hypothetically, Digimon Ghost Game got an English dub (Which I think would fit on Cartoon Network given they aired TV-PG original content like Adventure Time and Regular Show), who do you think could work as English voices for the characters.
I had some choices in mind for the main characters in a video I made.
So, Hiro's pacifism nearly gets both him and Gammamon killed once again and MoriShellmon actually calls him out on it, repeatedly. And they only win when the main Digimon work together to sever some of Cherrymon's arms. There's hope for them yet!
We got an ice digimon next week. I'm gonna go out on a limb and get Ice-Devimon (who's almost always been played as being plain ass creepy, barring Xros Wars) but we'll see. There are a few other options on that front.
One Strip! One Strip!Based on the preview, it appears to be Frozomon.
Also, the upcoming "X Record" pack for the card game has given us a possible answer as to which Mega Digimon would Maki's Bakumon would digivolve into. It's Gaiomon.note

@Mister Zygarde 64: Honestly, I'd be down for this english dub. Bryce's gotten better at his dark voice at least. Angromon needs someone a bit more mellow.
As for today's episode...um...couldn't they have pointed out Betel could've burnt the whole forest down if they weren't careful.
In terms of villainous Digimon who haven't turned, we got: Jyureimon, Boogiemon, Phelesmon, Kinkakumon, Metal Fantomon, Sistermon Ciel.
That's enough for a Rogues Gallery there, especially since most of them have at least one more potential Digivolution.
And it's here we get to see how Hiro's refusal to kill is not a good thing. We already got a sign of it via his hesitation to have WesenGammamon kill the Zassoumon, and his horror at GulusGammamon killing Sealsdramon, but now his refusal to burn Cherrymon to the ground nearly got BetelGammamon devoured by him were it not for Ruli, SymbareAngoramon, Kiyoshiro, TeslaJellymon, and MoriShellmon intervening.
The truth of the matter though is that some Digimon can't be allowed to live if they're this dangerous. There's not always gonna be a workaround like knocking off Cherrymon's arm. Some Digimon are too vile or dangerous to let live, especially a man-eater like Cherrymon who would have killed people were it not for MoriShellmon saving them. And considering MoriShellmon is only an Adult level, and that Cherrymon seems like he can come and go as he pleases, it's only a matter of time before he comes back wanting revenge. And like MoriShellmon said, he won't be able to protect everyone should he come back.
Speaking of, MoriShellmon was a nice ally. He's a clear case of both Good is Not Nice and Good Is Not Soft, which fits with his Reference Book data saying MoriShellmon have aggressive personalities and are largely territorial. And while not the nicest to Hiro, what he said is going to be important going forward, especially since Hiro does seem traumatized by GulusGammamon, and his rigid stance on not killing is connected to not wanting to relive that day.
Kinkakumon isn't part of the Rogues Gallery. She was fine with stopping what she was doing so long as Jellymon and Kiyoshiro spared with her, remember? She even said that if she won the prize would just be stuff from Hokuto's wine stash, since Ginkakumon was all for just drinking that rather than turning people into wine anymore.

Vegeta: I'm back bitches! This episode did have off models a lot but was still pretty nice ya.
I had thought that maybe Ruli was lying about the letter and that they had planted it there to possibly parallel Hiro telling Gammamon that Bokomon was on a "journey", and I think there is some belief in Shintoism that those closer to death can see spirits, specifically those meant to protect them until they pass on, and that Koemon was meant to be a metaphor for one for the Granny, but the fact that no one reveals that the letter was fake at the end, even when out of earshot of Gammamon so as to not upset him, made me think she really did just go visit her son in the hospital and is still alive.
The only way I can handwave it is that, since Koemon is so short and was upset at Granny leaving, he never paid attention and noticed the note, just grabbing the ball or even just using his lasso to grab it before looking for someone to play with.
