http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.php@luislucas: Vulcan's Hammer is actually the dub name of the move Hammer Spark. The actual Thor's Hammer move is never shown. He does happen to have it.
Also, Vulcanusmon is the Hephaestus variation in Digimon. He probably made that Hammer. Note that it also is Thor's Hammer for the Japanese weapon name. Can't say what its English name is, though.
Shadow?
I think that's the name of the attack when he throws the hammer like a boomerang, although I don't remember it that well.
On that front, no I don't think so, so far there just seem to be random enemies. Also worrying is that it sold something like 50 000 units in it's debut week, which is not bad but it's half of what re-digitized sold.
Thanks to this here website
, I just finished watching all five seasons of Digimon. :)
Oh yeah, I forgot about those. I would like to see Imperialdramon upgrade to Paladin Mode. I only saw the first one so far.

Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered! That reminds me. Is this
not the coolest thing you ever saw? :)
"Padding is more or like adding extra dialogue on a scene that's still in the Manga. Filler is like the Digimon movie that didn't effect the main plot at all." is my favorite Digimon human character.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.![]()
I just can't find that scene awesome...
- Sorry, but Masaru punching out digimon is hella stupid and trying too hard. He also didn't bother to introduce his partner. I guess I just don't like him.
- Or Davis & Veemon or the Frontier crew and either series' main gimmicks.
- Myotismon Mooks.
- That weird thing where Japanese people will react to something by making their arms like an M over their head.
- Joe and Izzy and their partners weren't the focus.
- Too much music!
Damn, Gallantmon straight up killed the fuck out of that one Malo Myotismon! And then some got cut in half. That was alright.
"Holy shit, why are these little boys glowing and naked!"
Basically, I'm a crotchety old man who can't be happy about anything that wasn't Tamers or Adventure as I remember it.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI agree that Marcus punching out Mega-Level digimon went too far.
However, those versions of Venom and Malo are far weaker than the ones in Adventure 1 and 2. And Omnimon easily killing them is believable, same with the other Mega levels or Mega-Class one in Susanoomon's case.
The original Myotismon was a hell of a lot more powerful than those weak copies, so they don't deserve to be anything more than fodder. That's what they were designed to be, anyway. And weren't they created really quickly? The real Myotismon had been around for ages and gained his power on his own merit. How could they be actually on his level? I doubt any of them could even take the Ultimate/Perfect version of regular Myotismon in a fight, and Malo/Venom could defeat those copies pretty easily. Maybe all of them combined could taken down Venom, but Malo? Hardly. The Adventure Malo was ridiculously powerful, possibly stronger than Apocalymon... no, wait, clearly stronger.
Shadow?Malo wasn't that strong, the whole "hopes and dreams" stuff weakens that
Also you should note that in one part,Marcus' not only punches two Malos into one,but two other Malos that have nothing to do with it get hurt as well
Besides this was a good Take That! to all the times Myotismon got easier to defeat despite becoming a higher level.
I did say Marcus hurting them was bullshit, after all. The rest? Fully believable. And Adventure!Malo was nigh-unstoppable. It took every single Digidestined in the world(s) to defeat him. Sorry, but he was clearly more powerful. Also, Imperialdragmon Fighter Mode was not a "new-level" Digimon. He was clearly trained by that time and barely was useful against him.
He was defeated by a freakin' miracle. These weak mooks are just not comparable to the real one. And yes, it's true that Myotismon's digivolutions took a shorter time to beat, that doesn't make them weak. Venom lost to two Megas and 6 Ultimates. And he's a new Mega too. He already had to be taken down by 8 super powered Digimon. I wouldn't call him weak at all. Malo? I already explained how he easily could beat ever Digidestined if any groups of 5/6. Probably 8 too. Only one I could see doing decently against him for a while is Omnimon at best, but I doubt he could've beaten him anyway, since he had too much power from many years of gathering it. Dark Spores probably super powered him too.
Adventures!Malo was the most broken boss till the D-Reaper came along. And then the Royal Knights/Lucemon. The second set of Royal Knights were... kind of lackluster compared to the Season 4 versions.
Shadow?I definitely think Malo was stronger than Poccy; all the Digimon end bosses were planetary in scale, but Poccy was the only one who had to kill himself to trigger the Earth-Shattering Kaboom.
I thought Data Squad did a better job with the Royal Knights than Frontier.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!Crusadermon was a far more interesting character. "Her" name was beyond inaccurate.
And no, Loadknightmon is a perfectly legitimate translation. Dub Names are not "exact translations", they're similar names(sometimes) that reflect the character or the old name. Say both Lordknightmon and Loadknightmon very fast. They sound almost exactly alike or exactly alike(depending how good one's hearing is). It sounds correct and is a fine translation.
Crusadermon was a really poor translated name as is. It was probably given since the character sounded female, and in America, "Lord" is associated too often with Male, despite that not being the case in all cultures. Same with King actually being gender ambiguous sometimes.

Venom lost to two Mega's, a Perfect and 5 Champions. And I'd hardly say that Malo was clearly stronger than Apocalymon, considering that Apocalymon fought, while Malo just stood still, occasionally blasting back the current weakest Digimon protagonist team. Sure he was covering the Earth in darkness at the time, but Apocalymon's mere presence did that to the Digital World.
Pretty much every team that wasn't the 02 one could've defeated Malo. Adventure at strongest has two experienced Mega's, two Perfects who have a hax advantage against Malo, and 4 other perfects who can damaged Mega's. Tamers has 6 Mega's, a Perfect and a Champion. Frontier has Susanoomon. Savers has 5 Mega's and three Perfects. Fusion has an Xros of every Digimon ever. 02 has a Mega and two Perfects.
Digimon seems to be going out of its way not to include Norse figures. Yggdrasil is a computer, Jormungand and Ymir are Olegmon's shoulders, Slepnir is an archer knight, Odin's spear is in the hands of a mode change knight, Valkyriemon is a dude, Thor's hammer is held by an ultimate level turtle-seal, Skuld is a country...
I suppose Thormon could end up as a jogress between Zudomon and something else(medicinemon, rainmon?). Something could evolve into Odinmon using Gallantmon Crimson mode's data but I really get the impression Bandai is not interesting in giving out any real parallels to Norse figures. Olegmon is still the closest one to date. More I expect them to introduce a giant fly called Buzzbeemon who uses the Loki, an advanced camera system, to predict enemy attacks before they it.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture Rack

I thought it was the hammer of Vulcan.
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!
