Hellbinders is a live action film (duh) staring Ray Park (Max), Johnny Yong Bosch (Ryu), and Esteban Cueto (Cain).

The film is about these three men as they stumble across a plot by demons to create a portal that will unleash on of the kingdoms of Hell on Earth.

The plot of the film is okay. It isn't spectacular but there have been a lot worse. The action scenes are amazing as each character (and their actors to a degree) show how Bad Ass they are.

Sadly, this movie doesn't have a trope page nor a page on The Other Wiki. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this movie so we can correct that first one.

I'm hoping that they're working on a sequel. There were several plot threads left dangling to be solved in one.

I saw it. Had a good comic book feel to the movie. Max has no soul, Ryu is a ninja, and Cain, sadly isn't the biblical Cain, is a surviving member of the Knights Templar. They are brought together as Legion tries to take over the world in modern day Los Angeles.

[up][up] That's what got me interested as well. I saw the name and cover and thought it was kind of interesting but didn't pay it much attention until I read JYB's name.

In the beginning of the movie, when the plot seems weird because you have no idea what's going on, he (and the fight scenes) redeems it. Later on, when the plot turns out to be not that bad, he just makes it more awesome.

He also eats pancakes with ketchup at one point in the film.

Because it sounds disgusting to me.

So, anyone gonna help out in making a trope page for this awesome movie?

Has anyone else seen this movie? I think it's a good movie (especially on a second watching) and it really Needs More Love.

I've made a trope page but it currently lacks actual tropes.

You could probably not want to just summarize the whole film on the page. Just a basic outline and then list the tropes.

Technically, that's not the whole movie. It's only an hour and thirty minutes long so I'd say that's a bit under half of it. That and I don't do very well with synopses.

I'm also kind of wondering the point of this since the trope page is sorta meant to get other people into the movie (or at least know of it)and the last trope page I made did a wonderful job of that.

I don't know, maybe the forum page and the fact that it stars JYB will make a difference.

I'd suggest start with making the synopsis short but sweet and put in a couple tropes.

I could probably just shorten the synopsis to the first paragraph seeing as how that gives you the gist of what the movie is about.
