I was kinda disappointed by how little variety there was in Eggman's forces. Weren't there a ton of boss robots from Sonic 3? Or how about Zero from Sonic Adventure?

But still, great fight.

Great fight. I agree that Dr. Eggman's robots need more variety though.

Imagine if he had the Egg Golem from Sonic Adventure 2 instead of Mecha Knuckles and the Shadow Androids? That would have seriously been kickass.

I love these things.

Steve? needs to be in one... But I have no idea who he'd go up against.

One of my friends and I thought of a metric crapton of potential Death Battles and their outcome. Some of the wierder consensuses (?) made were:

  • Goku could beat Superman, but he would die in the process.

  • Cole McGrath would lose to Static only because of Cole's weakness to water being greater than Static's.

  • Kenshi and Scorpion would barely defeat Aku, but the entirety of Mortal Kombat would be annihilated by his progenitor. That progenitor could be pwned by Amaterasu, Aku himself and a crapton of the Universe's Greatest Defenders, though.

  • The core Justice League may be able to beat Ultron in a fight. Only Superman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and The Flash would have any hope of killing him, though.

I remember a magazine (I think it was Gameinformer) once did a series like that, and they actually did Goku Vs. Superman. They had Goku win due to the Spirit Bomb being more powerful than any of Supermans abilities.

As for Cole, is that good Cole or evil Cole?

Because it was the early millennium and Wizard used to be good then?

I find it funny that we're insulting Wizard in a thread that praises another Wizard's work.

I wasn't insulting them, but I've never been interested in their products. Begging the question, why was I looking at a Wizard magazine.

First of all, killing off one of the characters is stupid. I decree that part doesn't happen.

Starscream may whine and act cowardly sometimes, but that doesn't make him less dangerous. He's almost killed other characters before. He also has a body of very strong metal. As much as I like Rainbow Dash, she'd never, ever get through it. It's also impossible to eat a spark.

And the Chun-Li verses Mai one is bs. Chun-Li would still probably win even if Mai can do something with fire. You guys are just wrong.

PS: Nowhere Man, you don't own either character anymore than Wizard does, so that makes your opinion invalid if theirs is. You can't even judge superhero comics and Dragon Ball Z the same way, but I say SS 3 would be evenly matched.

Dude, its physics. Assume Rainbow Dash weighs about 30 pounds. She's going at 3403 meters a second. She takes no damage from impact. If she hits something at that speed, it barely matters what its made of - the laws of physics says it gets destroyed.

She seem to have protection from friction, but not actual impacts into hard objects. The laser blasts they regularly fire also get going pretty fast, even though they miss a lot. Even with physics, there's also the mass difference. She's about four feet high and a bit slender verses a machine about two stories tall. If it were a human sized robot, it would probably be fine

If we were talking about the Flash (who can move way faster than Dash and is a superhero), it would be different. But Rainbow Dash would die from the impact, which would be depressing. It was really a lose-lose situation with me no matter which one they picked.

Nope. Lesson Zero. She rammed headfirst into a barn in the middle of a Rainboom and it didn't hurt her in the slightest.

That was mostly for comedy. It's also made of wood, and a transformer would be harder and denser than barn walls. The blast must have gone out around her instead of actually touching her. It's my only explanation for why she survived it.

Once again, an object weighing 30 pounds traveling at over 3,000 meters a second. It will destroy anything. She, on the other hand, appears to be magically immune to the force of her own impacts.

Since this is fiction, the material does matter. Transformers are tougher than Earth metals iirc and there is no way it would even dent adamantium. And she is not immune to all impeacts. She doesn't touch the object, the energy breaks up weaker objects like wood before she even touches it.

Also: while she does break the sound barrier, I think you put her speed too high.

While doing the Rainboom, conservative estimates put her at Mach 10 - 3,402.9 meters a second.

The materials may matter, but given it was never established or even hinted that the materil the Transofmrers are made of is that special (apart from being alive), then it doesn't get that sort of boost. It also wasn't established as things breaking up around her - it appears hat she can just brace herself for impact, and thereby not take any harm from it (you'll notice the only times she ever got hurt by an impact was when it suprised her).
