Don't some Castlevania characters have abilities to ignore time manipulation? Sounds like hard counter.
As for Sekiro, can he do anything that Prince can't do even better? Revive is cool and all, but time rewind sounds much more potent. Prince can learn of Sekiro coming back from dead during their fight while from Sekiro's viewpoint Prince is simply countering everything coming his way. Unless Sekiro is in entirely different weight class or his revives are unlimited lore wise, Prince should take this pretty easely. Time manipulation is hella hax.
It's time for a xiaaaaaaaaaao-lin shooooowdd-
Oh, oh sorry. Wrong card. Hrh-hrm.
Time for a fictional chef shooooow-doooown... battle royale!
Tonio Trussadi
Toriko
Soma Yukihara - Food Wars
Mung Daal - Chowder
Vinsmoke Sanji
It'd never happen - but I want to imagine these guys serving each other a giant banquet and playing like a russian roulette meal-tasting. Whoever kills the others/KO's the others with their food first would win.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!So the pressing question here is, "Is Static more formidable than Electro, who Spider-Men consistently defeat on a regular basis?"
Also, while we're at it, the question of Canon Immigrant. On both sides. Ultimate or 616 Miles? Ultimate is the original depiction but 616 is the main Marvel continuity. Similarly, original cartoon Static or main continuity DC Comics Static? Since Death Battle doesn't really do composites anymore, how are we defining the "canon" version of the character here?

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.
There’s also the original Milestone Static, depending on how different he may be from what he was like when he officially joined DC.

One Strip! One Strip!![]()
In terms of "Ultimate or 616 Miles", if we're talking about the Spider-Man Miles Morales then they're one in the same. The Spider-Man Miles Morales currently in Earth-616 is the same one from Earth-1610. He was transplanted to "Earth Prime" after the supposed destruction of the Ultimate Marvel Universe in the 2015 Secret Wars.

If you recall, I once suggested Static fight again Cole MacGrath from Infamous, as the two were the closest thematic match for each other (both being electricity themed superheroes who got their powers in a public accident that also empowered a number of other people). Guess that's off the table now.

Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)It always was, really. If they used Cole, they would almost certainly have him fight (and beat) Alex Mercer of Prototype fame. There are plenty of electricity-themed characters that Cole could fight, but the Prototype/Infamous Fandom Rivalry is exactly the kind of thing Death Battle looks for when choosing matches.
I mean. How many Fandom Rivalries have actually had their series creators enter each other's characters in a lingerie competition
to determine whose game is superior to the other? McGrath and Mercer have a rivalry for the ages.

Stronger yes (he’s pretty much an Energy Being), but I don’t think he’s much smarter. Static however is plenty smart.
One Strip! One Strip!
I guess its thematically fine, if surface level, but from what I know of Static that sounds like a frankly horrendous stomp in Misaka's favor, is it not? Not that I'd be complaining about that, mind you, but I dunno if a stomp would be worth it when I'm sure there's plenty other eletromasters out there.

I mean, Miles and Virgil both have electrical powers, gained said powers from an accident that altered their DNA, were inspired by Spider-Man, are high-schoolers, and both originally hailed from alternate dimensions. Miles from Earth-1610, and Virgil from Milestone Comics.

Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?

I've been thinking of who would make for a good opponent for the Prince of Persia (Sands of Time version of course) and have come up with two appropriate choices.
Simon Belmont from Castlevania - Badass normal video game protagonists who fight supernatural creatures. Both have whip-like weapons (well, the Dark Prince does).
Sekiro (Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) - Action game protagonists who fights human and non-human foes alike. Both can also be empowered badass normals in some instances.
