I think a bigger problem is that Hades is immortal. Hercules makes it a big point that gods can't really die and have to be turned mortal in order to be killed.
Now hypothetically, one of the more powerful magic-users could accomplish this task, but I don't think we've ever seen them do anything close to that. Unless you count something like Facilier turning Hades into a frog or something.
I think something that drastic would cause his Friends to eat him.
The movie showed that there's a potion that can turn gods into mortals, but only if they drink the whole thing.
So then if we're opening it up to all Disney villains, it sounds like Hades cinches it.
Someone suggested earlier that Jafar would be the winner among villains of Disney Princesses specifically, because he can't kill people but can put them into situations where they would die naturally. For instance, teleporting everyone to the moon.
I don't know if that's true. In the example provided, he teleported Abis Mal to the bottom of the ocean in order to extort him into burning a wish on being rescued from it. However, because Abis Mal complies with the extortion, we don't actually know if Jafar could have let him suffocate - or, alternately, if somehow him being in that situation via genie magic would have prevented his death.
Note that Jafar's threat on the subject is not "There are many things that don't constitute personally killing you." It's "You'd be surprised what you can live through."
But setting that aside, even if we accept that logic, Hades breaks it. Jafar's genie magic might have options for getting around Hades's immortality, but it doesn't matter because he can't kill anyone. He can't use genie magic to put Hades in a situation that would naturally result in Hades's death, and he can't use genie magic to magic-kill the otherwise unkillable Hades.
Whether or not Jafar can Loophole Abuse around other contenders, he has no answers for Hades.
Hades himself is basically a fast talking conman. If anyone could see through Jafar's ruse it would be him.
If we're throwing in all Disney movie villains, I'll throw in the token mention of Chernabog, although there's not really a clear sense of what his power scale is. (If you scale through Sora via the Kingdom Hearts games, that would put Hades over Chernabog, but doing that has other issues.)
He is good at football but can be killed with football
According to Fantasia, I think Superman can just sing Chernabog to death like he did Darkseid.
Would that come up in a Disney villains battle royals situation though?
If Genie Jafar was in play, whoever got ahold of his lamp would win. :P
I’d assume in a Disney villain free for all, Hades (or anyone else who can’t die) would sit it out.
The only other times they’ve had immortal characters it’s been characters who have been “immortal, except when facing these specific things,” which is kind of BS already but that’s beside the point. They’ve never included a character who is just immortal period.
I still want my Old Master Battle Royale myself:
Except for Starscream, whose spark can't be destroyed.
Who do you think will win in a Jo Jo family deathmatch?
(Let them all have their mid season/manga powers. The world and gold experience requim won't make things interesting)
Yeah, but Starscream himself can still be rendered effecively dead for the purposes of the battle, even if he isn't literally dead.
Same with Raiden from Mortal Kombat, who was also featured: he can't be truly killed and always simply reconstitutes after a bit, but he can be rendered to a state that is effectively treated the same, thus allowing Death Battle to give him a fight to the death.

If that's the case, why bother with the message to his past self.
Seems like a lot of trouble when he would have just come back anyway.
Then again, Armageddon might have made it hard to do that, so maybe my question is already answered.
Shao Khan was kinda about to undo reality.
Because the universe was screwed, iirc.

Honorable mentions to... Johnny (I know nothing about what his Stand eventually does by the end since I've not finished SBR yet, but I've heard it's up there with the most BS of them) and also to Joseph (who, of course, lives to the final two because he has mastered the most powerful technique for a battle royale scenario)
Wouldn't the first two Jojo's have a hard time due to not being able to see the Stands, or do they work the same way as the Ripple?
So a few weeks back I spitballed Hellboy vs Devilman, then I find out that this apparently happened yesterday.
I'm inclined to say that Jonathan and Part 2 Joseph would not be able to see the stands, seeing as Hamon works differently than them. It essentially makes them a non-factor. Cause even if you could see the stand like Kenshiro, only Stands can damage Stands. So if they had any hope of dealing damage, they would have to directly attack the other six, and given that their stands are the close-quarters types, that's not gonna happen.
The only one that might not really apply to is Johnny and Tusk. But even then with Act 3 after talking with Jesus, he can shoot a fingernail into his body to create a wormhole and teleport parts of himself, and anything that isn't him will be damaged coming out of the wormhole.
Even Joseph's out of nowhere gun wouldn't help, because we've seen Jotaro and Josuke catch point blank bullets, and Josuke could probably just deflect the shots back like we saw in his battles with Bad Company and Super Fly.
Counterpoint. If anyone killed Johnathan and Joseph, every other Jojo besides Johnny and Gappy would be wiped out via a time paradox.
I've been thinking about who would make for a good opponent for Power Girl and came up with three ideas:
Maxima - A fellow Superman character. Maxima is the queen of the planet Almerac and possesses a wide array of super powers including super strength, super speed, telekinesis and telepathy.
Nate Grey - the alternate version of X-Men character Cable. Like Karen, Nate is an alternate universe version of a more mainstream character (Supergirl in Karen's case).
Kefla from Dragon Ball Super- like Karen is a character from an alternate universe and we already had Goku vs Superman.
My first thought was to suggest Caulifla as a joke, but then I noticed you already did that.
