That kind of second-hand exposition is fair game, I think. But I should note that they don't say anything about the size of the blast other than "huge", and it was apparently contained within a single research facility so we're talking, like, maybe a building level. The only thing notable about it being "nuclear" is that apparently the explosions she can create have fallout. I don't know if the symbiote can survive fallout, but I wouldn't put it past it.
Far more notable is the fact that she can create explosions at all. Kill It with Fire being one of the most reliable methods of dealing with symbiotes, that would give her a method of beating Carnage that he's never managed to successfully overcome. She may just win this yet. If she can make big booming fire blasts, then it doesn't matter if they have fallout or not because the fight isn't going to last long enough for it to become relevant.

Lucy most Absurds feats are when she dies.
Also before we get to that, Lucy does have a healing factor, as When she is Nyuu, she tries to kill herself with her own vectors, but it fails because she heals too rapidly.
As for her absurd feats that she used when dying, mostly due to even her healing not being able to save her. All of them NSFW due to the mangas nudity:

But is it enough to kill Carnage?
Cause due to comic book insanity & the plus of being a supervillain he has survived an insane amount of shit that includes being torn in half by a Superman like being in space & then just being left there.
Iíd say it doesnít matter how hard, how fast, or how big you hit him, unless you can literally obliterate every single trace of him you wonít kill him.
What you need is fire or sonic blasts though I guess you can generate the latter if you can break the sound barrier.
So pretty much using her full power will kill her so itís an even greater risk for her.

I forget, was it fire or sonics that Carnage gained immunity to but also gained a weakness to Cthonic magic as a replacement? If it's the former, that might negate Lucy's explodo powers.
Right there was also that recent Carnage ongoing that involved him in a Cthulhu-sequel story line.
Havnít read it yet though, does anyone know what happened there?
Like did he actually get a big power-up?
The RTX Panel says that Carnage traded the sound weakness away, so fire still works on him.
So, yeah. If Lucy is capable of Roy Mustang-ing Carnage, she's got this.
Címon Carnage, ya got this.
Aside from immunity to sound did he get any magic powers?
I also recall Brian Micheal Bendis canonized his ability to drain people of their life-Force simply by touching them.
Tobias already explained how stupid that was.
The life draining was a thing invented for his animated series appearance to keep him somewhat close to the comics, letting him rampage without excessive blood.
From what I'm reading, Carnage wouldn't want to do something that didn't leave a bloody mess.

That's not the point though.
The point is it exists & no matter how stupid & unfitting to the character it is & it really is (only working in an extremely specific circumstance) they will use it in the fight.
I can see it being something that comes up in trivia "Carnage can also do this" but not ending up being a factor in the fight scene.
I was browsing the trivia page, and apparently they considered pitting Carnage against Green Lantern at one point. The idea was that since they could both use their powers to materialize objects at will, that would be the link between the two. I think that's a tenuous connection at best, but what do you guys think? I feel Green Lantern might have the edge because he's demonstrated more variety using his ring compared with Carnage using the symbiote. Plus, he's had more experience fighting higher-tier characters compared with Carnage, who usually goes after street-level heroes from what I've seen.

I mean, if GL found out Carnage's weakness, then they'd certainly be able to create the weapon necessary to defeat him.
There was also that one time that Carnage and Venom entered into cyberspace using their symbiotes because... it was the 1990's? That story made zero sense at the time and hasn't been brought up since.
Re. vampirism, symbiotes in general are able to drain their hosts of vital fluids anyway.
It's something of a moot point anywats, since, as of The Amazing Spider-Man: Go Down Swinging it's regained both its weakness to sound and its ability to infect people with pieces of itself.

GL would easily be able to beat carnage. He just exists at a higher tier level then Carnage does. Even if he doesnít have the power to take Carnage down, there is nothing stopping him from throwing Carnage into the sun.
There's a number of characters that could deal with that. Sentry from Marvel for instance.
There's a lot of DC characters that hover around the "almost as strong as Superman level" that are tricky to find battles for without going the DC-Marvel route or the DC-Dragon Ball route. The list includes Wonder Woman, any Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Dr. Fate, Blue Beetle, the Spectre, and Shazam, at a minimum.
Honestly, the most interesting GL fight might be to do a battle royale of the human GL's. I'm sure the GL fanbase will handle the result in a respectful way.
Guy Gardner would probably take that, maybe, possibly. He's supposed to have so much willpower that his ring has to constantly discharge or some junk.

I guess Kyle Rayner doesn't get the White Ring in this scenario, but, with an Imagination-Based Superpower like a GL ring, his artist background has come in most useful for him time and again.
I'm pretty sure that intended matchup for Carnage was Red Lantern instead of Green Lantern.

Is that something he's actually done before?
And now I'm picturing Carnage as a Red Lantern.
... Ben/Wiz mispornounced Kaede's name. What's the most reliable way to inform him of this error?
The episode's probably pretty close to being finished, so it's most likely going to be fixed in post.
