...To be fair, Gray could likely do the same to Roy's eyeballs, only with Ice, but yeah, that's how it goes. It might be a good fight, but I don't have enough good will towards Fairy Tail to make that assumption.
One Strip! One Strip!Roy's sort of boring in that he's so hyper specialized, he either wins (or draws) against anyone who can't No-Sell fire. And if they can No-Sell fire, he's fucked.
Pretty sure Raiden kills Bradley. The moment Bradley tries to parry (and he's a trained swordman, it's his thing), the HF blade slices through Bradley.

Winner: Bowser, taking both of the brothers out, although they are probably still alive.
Next time: Strider Hiryu.
Soooo, the Death Battle panel at RTX happened, and major points are:
- In addition to an upcoming Death Battle, Torrian has been working on a Kim Wu vs Sun Wukong DBX.
- They confirmed that they will eventually do Maka vs Ruby, and said that Monty himself said it was fight he'd love to see.
- They ended the panel with an exclusive clip for the people in attendance, which means it wasn't shown on stream, and I haven't seen anyone say what it was. So if anyone knows, that'd be cool.

Random thought:
If we were going to do another Marvel vs DC match, who'd be a good opponent for Harley Quinn?
Been trying to think of a fitting opponent for her, and have been coming up short.
One Strip! One Strip! The best pick is probably Jubilee, with both being 90s female characters with comical name wordplay (Harleen Quinzel and Jubilation Lee) who were created to be sidekicks to established male characters (Jubilee was originally a sidekick to Wolverine, of all things) note .
Power-wise, it's a weird mish-mash, with Harley's comedy gadget arsenal versus Jubilee's classical vampire (yes, really) powers. If they give Jubilee her Healing Factor (which, going by our page, is only because Wolverine donated blood for her to drink, and she doesn't have it any more because reasons) though, it's pretty clear Harley loses.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)RE: Bradley
I brought this up in the previous discussion of Bradley vs Wolverine, but Bradley's swords, while not stated to be special, demonstrate some serious damage resistance that goes beyond what a normal sword is capable of. They take numerous blows from Greed's superdense skin, they deflect bullets, they sheer through artillery shells, etc, etc, etc. So I wouldn't assume they'd just shatter on immediate contact with adamantium or what have you.
In general, by the way, the Homonculi are decent match-ups for various Wolverine villains. A match between Lust and Lady Deathstrike or Greed and the adamantium skinned Cyber would be interesting things to see as well.
We went over this before, but Roy vs any Firebender will go very badly for that Firebender. Since Roy's first move is to turn the air around his target into a highly flammable gas, Azula or Zuko or whoever is going to blow themselves up the moment they ignite their flames.
Yeah, COL Mustang has a speed advantage over just about any firebender. Or any bender at all, really. As well as 90% of miscellaneous other characters.
He's another one of those characters where it's really hard to find a good match for him, because anyone who can't No-Sell his attacks and slaughter him won't last two seconds in the ring with him. There are very few ways in which instantaneously exploding someone's eyeballs can result in a fairly close, reasonably even match between equally-powered rivals.
Mustang's up in the "Psychics/Speedsters/Time Manipulators/Etc." tier of broken-ass powersets who can only be appropriately matched by other broken-ass powersets. And when two broken-ass powersets collide, it's basically a quick-draw.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I'm thinking a Fire Emblem mage/sage would be able to resist Mustang's explosions (they are explicitly resistant - but not immune - to elements, i.e. fire, lightning and wind), and would likely require more than one spell to kill him as well. Quantifying FE magic properly would be impossible, though, which is unfortunate.
I've seen Roy Mustang vs Zuko suggestions in the comments quite often, making me think DB'll do it eventually due to demand. When that happens, I'll be intrigued to see how are they going to get 2-3 minutes out of the match.

I still want Hiei vs Hitsugaya.
I think Hiei might be stronger though. Toshiro is a Captain, but he always seemed like the weakest one to me due to his youth...though he seems to fix that near the end of the series.
