Assuming the risk is known and accepted (considering most Alpha abilities are quite damaging, they probably should expect to get maimed at the very least) I don't consider that to override the moral neutrality of "informed consent".
Overall, my main issue with the governments handling of the situation seems to be that they are painting the Alphas into one of three categories: dangerous, harmless or works for us. However, I could be extrapolating from limited worthwhile data. For instance, other than Nina, I'd say that the main cast is a group I would personally just leave alone as they fall under "only mildly more dangerous than random people". I'm also curious if being a specific Alpha variant comes with a specific mental issue. For instance, does having super strength mean you'll have control issues or is it just luck of the draw.
On Healing Factor villain: I think he has a moral (if not correct) cause, but immoral methodology. Essentially, he's a bad guy fighting for a good/acceptable cause. My feeling is that it's not correct to assume that a war between the two groups is inevitable, but I do think that it's likely. I also think it likely that public reaction to this would be kneejerk predictable and that there would be significant political capital invested in whatever terrible panicky solution the Think of the Children! mentality produces and it would be incredibly difficult to uproot just as in things like the War On Drugs.

Fight smart, not fair.Upon thinking on it, I'd like to have the blonde girls power. Even with the drawback, it's just too neat of a power to turn down.
Fight smart, not fair.
In-universe she's training at Quantico, Bill said he expects her to finish in two weeks because of her ability. Real reason? Most likely Sy Fy micro budgets, especially for a show that was initially announced as canceled last year.

Yep, interesting right? I am not sure though, why the season ended this way. one of my theories is that syfy wants more spectacular abilities and made the writers "boost" them. Although that could turn into a problem if they don't have the buget for it.
On the Watsonian side, liked to see Rosen getting a bit darker but I hope after his epiphany this episode he will go back to his old self, I really liked the non military/law enforcement non violent leader. It's not often I've seen this. Yay for Skylar, love tha character (not least because of Summer Glau). Also badass kat. She's becoming my favorite team member. I wonder hof the boost will affect her. More memory loss? She can only hold a month right now.

You lost!
yeah, i thought that too. Though that would mean that he must have had some dormant alpha ability
What could it be?

You lost!Maybe something similar to Dani's? Zoe has an ability relatively similar to Skylar's (but I can't remember any other parent-child matchups). Empathy or telepathy or something like that sounds like something that'd be par for the course for him anyway.
I'm curious as to why Gary is the only one still conscious. Think it's related to the same reason Nina can't push him?
And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know.

Wasn't the Anti-Alpha drugs nulling properties a side effect? It actually had been proven effective at preventing normal birth defects but at the cost of also preventing Alpha development? If I'm remembering right, then the government was certainly the lighter shade of grey there, far lighter even. It's prescribe a drug in cases where birth defects are highly probably but can be prevented by the same stuff, with the cost of preventing any Alpha abilities that *may or may not* arise from developing versus acts of terrorism against relative innocents and condemning who knows how many non-Alpha children to be born with birth defects on the off chance that maybe the next kid will bean Alpha.
