Nov 2023 Mod notice:
There may be other, more specific, threads about some aspects of US politics, but this one tends to act as a hub for all sorts of related news and information, so it's usually one of the busiest OTC threads.
If you're new to OTC, it's worth reading the Introduction to On-Topic Conversations
and the On-Topic Conversations debate guidelines
before posting here.
Rumor-based, fear-mongering and/or inflammatory statements that damage the quality of the thread will be thumped. Off-topic posts will also be thumped. Repeat offenders may be suspended.
If time spent moderating this thread remains a distraction from moderation of the wiki itself, the thread will need to be locked. We want to avoid that, so please follow the forum rules
when posting here.
In line with the general forum rules, 'gravedancing' is prohibited here. If you're celebrating someone's death or hoping that they die, your post will get thumped. This rule applies regardless of what the person you're discussing has said or done.

This may come as a shock to you, but firms often give different answers to different questions depending on who is asking.
Also getting advice from someone is not the same as heeding that advice, which if you compared the Clinton and Cruz foreign policies, you'd note they obviously have not all done. One of Clinton or Cruz clearly did not take the company's advice, otherwise their policies would be the same, which they are not.
That's a little trick the rest of us call logical deduction.

Here's to hope. (suggestively eats a slice of pizza)
I don't think the forum rules allow me to say where it's from.

Solipsist Owl, I'm curious.
You don't actually post on any other thread but this one and you've never edited the wiki. Mud-slinging at Clinton is literally the only thing you do on this site. Are you a Sanders propagandist? Or, alternately, for one of the Republicans?

As many others have already said, you have a very noticeable ax to grind against Hilary Clinton. While I can not speak for anyone else, I personally gloss over anything you post when I see Clinton's name in it because, while the text may be different, they usually amount to some form of Clinton BAD and that sort of knee jerk response to anything involving a side or candidate is precisely the thing I personally loathe about politics.
You claim to be stating facts, while others note you do so in a way that still implicates Clinton of scumbaggery.
With all of that in mind, there is a question I'd like to ask you: What, in your opinion, has Hillary Rodham Clinton done right?
Someone involved in politics as long as she has can not possibly have an entirely negative track record and survive like she has. There may some logical fallacy in my reasoning, but so be it. If you genuinely want me, if not others who might be convinced, to take any Clinton posts of yours seriously, then I need to know that you aren't just "Hillary BAD"

It's April O'Neil from TMNT but the bottom of the picture implies her shirt's raised above her breasts, so it's probably a cropped porn image.

Ah, okay.
...Isn't that the design she has in the newest show? How old is she there, again?

I think I've seen a porn parody of the US elections somewhere...
Haha! I knew it!
Only Huffpo to make an article about it. Hustler also made one with all Republican nominees also.

Inter arma enim silent legesWell, the Taiwanese animators did make this
(mildly NSFW) after Nevada.
I would host the pizza party, but we have enough tourists coming into our state to sample our "pizza" and I refuse to be responsible for a bunch more.
This criticism about Clinton being a war hawk is funny, because everyone from outside the United States is like
"Guys. Guys. Clinton is not a war hawk. All of you fucking are and have always fucking been and we are fucking used to it"
Next thing you will accuse me of is of recognizing your avatar from the second I saw it, gosh.

It has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes

Advice.
At the end of the day, they still don't set that policy - whoever becomes Clinton's foreign policy Secretary will be doing that.
This is really at the heart of the whole Presidential debate - what people tend to forget is that the election of a President is important, and they absolutely set the done for the decisions of their cabinet, but they're still part of a cabinet and a party, and still part of Congress, which is ultimately the organ that makes the decisions.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.
