Nov 2023 Mod notice:
There may be other, more specific, threads about some aspects of US politics, but this one tends to act as a hub for all sorts of related news and information, so it's usually one of the busiest OTC threads.
If you're new to OTC, it's worth reading the Introduction to On-Topic Conversations
and the On-Topic Conversations debate guidelines
before posting here.
Rumor-based, fear-mongering and/or inflammatory statements that damage the quality of the thread will be thumped. Off-topic posts will also be thumped. Repeat offenders may be suspended.
If time spent moderating this thread remains a distraction from moderation of the wiki itself, the thread will need to be locked. We want to avoid that, so please follow the forum rules
when posting here.
In line with the general forum rules, 'gravedancing' is prohibited here. If you're celebrating someone's death or hoping that they die, your post will get thumped. This rule applies regardless of what the person you're discussing has said or done.

Well there's a vague question.
Lol, Rubio. I get it now. Took me a second.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"As I pointed out the other day, it looks like he did it again, too
And then there were 7.
This good news for Bush, Rubio, and Kasich. Now the race to be the establishment candidate has narrowed down to a 3-way competition.
Meanwhile the Trump/Cruz rivalry gets uglier. Case in point:

Irrelevant to my question. Source or no source? If you have no source, I am not sure how you're going to convince me.
So it is a fact that Kenneth Thorpe is hired by Clinton. Noted.
I believe I asked you a question first. It's improper to respond with more questions. Do you support the TPP?
Hey, did someone here ask about the Nevada prediction polls? Here's the 538 prediction as of February 9:
Nevada:
Clinton: 50.3
Sanders: 28.1
South Carolina
Clinton: 60.5
Sanders: 29.3

Rubio only has one more chance to prove himself. Christie may be gone, but Cruz is a noted good debater and Trump is Trump. So he won't drop until after SC, and that too only if he does badly (which, in my opinion, is likely).
Gilmore will stay as long as he has money to spend. He clearly doesn't give a damn that he is losing.
Carson is interesting. Clearly it will be SC that he makes his final stand, but his campaign is already in such disarray, I wonder if he'll give up or if he hates Cruz enough to stick in there just to spite Ted of an easy victory.
In which case, I hope he sticks around...

The one thing I can give her props for was the fact that she handled Trump's bullying really well.
