Nov 2023 Mod notice:
There may be other, more specific, threads about some aspects of US politics, but this one tends to act as a hub for all sorts of related news and information, so it's usually one of the busiest OTC threads.
If you're new to OTC, it's worth reading the Introduction to On-Topic Conversations
and the On-Topic Conversations debate guidelines
before posting here.
Rumor-based, fear-mongering and/or inflammatory statements that damage the quality of the thread will be thumped. Off-topic posts will also be thumped. Repeat offenders may be suspended.
If time spent moderating this thread remains a distraction from moderation of the wiki itself, the thread will need to be locked. We want to avoid that, so please follow the forum rules
when posting here.
In line with the general forum rules, 'gravedancing' is prohibited here. If you're celebrating someone's death or hoping that they die, your post will get thumped. This rule applies regardless of what the person you're discussing has said or done.

That’s his Deutsche Bank loans, they’re not actually from Deutsche Bank, they’re simply acting as a front for either the Russian mob or the Russian government (the line between the two is often blurry).
Deutsche Bank has a long history of banking activity for criminal groups, its done dealing for Iran, Sudan, Gadaffi, Putin, Burma and Assad. This is a bank that’s been busted for breaching international human rights sanctions.
Oh and it also lent money to Epstein, you know, the guy who trafficked in children.
The entire bank should be levelled and the senior leadership charged with crimes against humanity.
X3 Yeah that’s why nobody in American will lend him money anymore, this trick got worked out so he had to go to Russian for his money.

“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranEpstein was a convicted child sex trafficker as of 2008, the bank leant him money up to 2019.
The bank was fined for money laundering for Russia in 2017 and in 2015 was fined for doing business with regimes under sanctions for human rights abuses.
It was also a key player in causing the 2008 financial crash.
I’m not kidding when I say that in a just world the senior leadership would be serving life sentences for crimes against humanity.

“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranNot to traffic in conspiracy theory but two Presidents of the bank connected to the Trump loans have committed suicide within a couple of years of one another.
Even if it wasn't murder, what did they know and why?
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I also imagine that the ties to dictatorial regimes, the Russian mob and whatever international pedo circuit Epstein ran probably help keep the bank safe. That’s a powerful set of friends.

“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranTrump issued 20 pardons/commutations. Link.
Among them are Nicholas Slatten, who was serving life after shooting Iraqi civilians as part of Blackwater; Duncan Hunter, who misused campaign funds for personal gain; and figures in the Mueller probe.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."It’s not his money, so he’s fine spending it in an attempt to make himself more popular.
If it wasn’t for Mitch’s ability to stop things being even bought up for vote Dems could add that in and make some great political hay.
You’re really rooting for a government shutdown and no COVID relief because of a copyright amendment that we’re not even sure is in the bill anymore?
I think you should reevaluate your priorities.

He raised 300,000,000 (at least) and spent only 6 million on fighting the election.
That's a third of his inhuman country-sized billion dollar debt.
Honestly, that should be enough to get him out of any immediate danger. Debts are only called in when you can't pay the interest.
