Nov 2023 Mod notice:
There may be other, more specific, threads about some aspects of US politics, but this one tends to act as a hub for all sorts of related news and information, so it's usually one of the busiest OTC threads.
If you're new to OTC, it's worth reading the Introduction to On-Topic Conversations
and the On-Topic Conversations debate guidelines
before posting here.
Rumor-based, fear-mongering and/or inflammatory statements that damage the quality of the thread will be thumped. Off-topic posts will also be thumped. Repeat offenders may be suspended.
If time spent moderating this thread remains a distraction from moderation of the wiki itself, the thread will need to be locked. We want to avoid that, so please follow the forum rules
when posting here.
In line with the general forum rules, 'gravedancing' is prohibited here. If you're celebrating someone's death or hoping that they die, your post will get thumped. This rule applies regardless of what the person you're discussing has said or done.

Falwell junior has enough horrible skeletons, hypocrisies, and dead bodies to his name (he opened his college during Covid-19's height against all advice) before adding further charges.
That can come out if anyone complains.

"Wow, no Mega Togekiss in Legends Z-A. Or any non-Froslass new Sinnoh Mega Evolutions. Round of applause, everybody." - DawnWe need to rename the Tyson Zone as the Trump Zone. There's nothing he could do that would surprise me these days.
I mean, if he created a team of supervillains to hunt Spider-Man and I mean literally just said it like he believed he was real, I would just go with it.

Figures; he came into the White House doing something incredibly racist and bigoted (arresting American Citizens at Airports because they were Muslims/Arabs/Iranians), and he's going to be leaving the White House doing something incredibly racist and bigoted (this).
Of course Biden is going to end this stupid "Holiday" immediately. I hope to make up for it Biden does make Día de Muertos a Federal Holiday.
I remember seeing something about him enacting protections for LGBTQ+ people ASAP, but I don’t have it on hand.
My musician pageIf Trump loses, the next two months and a half will be an extended Villainous Breakdown on a magnitude that will put our examples to shame.
There are three basic possibilities for Trump's lame duck months:
- He peaces out, does nothing and just waits to be replaced like a whipped dog.
- He trades a resignation for a pardon and flies off to somewhere comfy.
- He goes all in on tearing down the government to make as big a mess as possible for Biden. This would include refusing to accept the outcome, inciting violence, and destroying as much institutional knowledge in the civil service as he can.

Yeah, I think Fauci yesterday had a thing to say about Atlas's lack of qualifications.
Meanwhile Jerry Falwell Jr. - one of the first evangelicals to jump on the Trump train - was apparently a total crook and he and his wife were also a bit perverts
. Also, is it just me or do these sexual relationships between Falwell's wife and Liberty U students look like Questionable Consent to anyone?
