Yeah, as much as I despise the CCP, I gotta side with them in this too.
You have no idea how much that hurts.
Apparently all it takes is a pithy disclaimer somewhere about who paid for it to make it not illegal.

Disgusted, but not surprisedI will remind you that the odds of the Democrats taking the Senate are the same as Trump getting elected, lets not make any assumptions.
If that ever happens in Trump's presidency, then all bets are off regarding where Democrats go from here. We all know how well that went the last time Democrats controlled the presidency and Congress after Republicans tanked the global economy, not to mention how European socialists got overwhelmed by fascist parties in the aftermath of the financial crisis.
Stop with the alarmism, maybe the effects of Trump's actions will occur after 2020 and a new Democratic President is in charge but frankly I just don't see why it must. I don't see any data and thus for all I know it could happen later in 2018 or 2019 thus being able to fairly easily be laid at Trump's feet.
There is no benefit to assuming the worst, not when such things very well may or may not happen.

I mean, while I agree the second part he said was hilariously alarmist, he is right when he says "the Republicans will likely control the Senate."

Appearing at a packed campaign event at Schobels Restaurant in the South Texas town of Columbus on Saturday, Cruz said, “When I got here someone told me that even PETA was protesting and giving out barbecued tofu, so I got to say, they summed up the entire election: If Texas elects a Democrat, they’re going to ban barbecue across the state of Texas.”
“You want to talk about an issue to mobilize the people, and I’m talking everybody,” Cruz said to appreciative laughter. “So I want to thank PETA and I do want to tell PETA you’re going to have to disclose to the FEC that by coming and protesting and giving away tofu, that you have given an in-kind contribution to my campaign by demonstrating just how bad things can get.”
Cruz’s words may have been in jest — the suggestion that O’Rourke, an El Paso Democrat, is an an enemy of barbecue is clearly a straw man made of tofu — but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have the serious purpose of further planting an image in voters’ minds of O’Rourke as a candidate outside the mainstream of Texas values, whether it’s on guns, border security, socialism or Lone Star food ways.
As he has demonstrated before in the campaign, just because Cruz is smiling doesn’t mean he’s just kidding around. This, even though O’Rourke, as a well-known Whataburger consumer (whom Cruz spokeswoman Emily Miller famously referred to as a “triple meat Whataburger who is out of touch with Texas values”), is hardly a poster boy for PETA, whose volunteers were not representing the O’Rourke campaign outside the Columbus eatery, and who themselves didn’t utter a word about banning meat.
Cruz returned to the subject Sunday, tweeting, “@peta protested our town hall yesterday, handing out barbecued tofu. We were glad to welcome them, but it illustrates the stakes of the election: if Beto wins, BBQ will be illegal!”
Miller underscored the message, retweeting: “Texas on the brink of #Abolish BBQ if voters don’t #Keep Texas Red.”
The PETA protest outside Schobels consisted of four volunteers holding signs. Their demeanor was all smiles and their message was that “Republicans eat tofu too.” They offered free samples of barbecued tofu.
Huh. Y'know, I think this is the first time in my life when 'WTFBBQ?' is actually an appropriate and relevant response.
It boggle my mind that candidate that's ahead in the polls is apparently that desperate.
I'm also not sure what PETA is getting at with this, but PETA's a big bag of crazy anyway, so I suppose it doesn't really matter.

So, anybody take special notice that Trump is the projected self-image of so many Americans? With the way they worship him and declare literally everything of his as the best and brightest it is like he is like the South and certain part of the mid-west's Mary Sue fanfiction character!
How did this happen, and is there anyway to stop the worship?

He's the Ugly American personified. A lot of people voted for Trump because he gives them an excuse to not even try to be a better person. Because they are American, so they are already NUMBER ONE!
They love him because he doesn't ask them to be better people. He tells them that they are already the best and the only reason their lives are shit is because of sabotage from "other" people.

Stormy Daniels gave ''The Guardian'' a preview into her book.
I now know way too fucking much about Trump's penis.
“He knows he has an unusual penis,” Daniels writes. “It has a huge mushroom head. Like a toadstool…
“I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart...
“It may have been the least impressive sex I’d ever had, but clearly, he didn’t share that opinion.”
And now, so do you!
And in a vacuum that might seem reasonable, as you say the Republicans are biased to win it. But they were clearly assuming that Republicans are definitely going to control the Senate and that fed into the rest of their alarmism.
So I felt the need to point out that there is a very real chance that Democrats could take it. Especially if between now and the midterms more things go wrong for the Republicans, such as from the Mueller investigation or the economy goes into a recession due to the tariffs (admittedly I have no idea how likely the latter is).
This is not useful information.

On Trumps wang.
Man, I hope this viralizes. Trump will be furious for having his dick and sexual prowess being called into question. Can you imagine how hilarious it would be to have Trump on full damage control mode over his penis in Twitter for a whole week, ignoring any other important stuff because he is defending his junk's size and sexual lack off prowess.
Or this may explain everything Trump does, he is overcompensating for his ''small'' insecurities

Inter arma enim silent legesIn fairness, if there is anyone qualified to give an expert opinion on penises, it's someone in Stormy Daniels' profession.
It is unlikely that the tax cuts or tariffs will cause a recession all by themselves. We've been in a period of steady if not extraordinary recovery and the economy should be resilient to what are, macroscopically speaking, minor distortions.
What'll really kill the economy is if Republicans retain control of Congress and pass entitlement cuts.

Ah good to hear, a recession is something that no-one should want.
Especially considering that there is a good chance that if it happened late enough the ignorant would find some way to blame the Democrats.

But let's say that by some miracle Trump's tariff power is reined in and tariffs nullified if Democrats gain control of Congress? Guess what, the damage is done, and a Great Depression 2.0 will be inevitable.
