He's like Berserker, with a reset every 15(?) minutes. In the anime he was able to reach the 15(?) minute reset before dying the 7th time.

Huh, I'm starting to take a liking to this anime. And either I missed it in the previous episodes, but apparently how many lives he has left is determined by the marks on his hands, and they reset.
