Name: Ja Mudda
Race: Troll.
Role: Tank. Also DPSer if you're stupid enough to get in the way of a troll with a battleaxe.
Appearance: Let's not mash words, he's a fat troll, and therefore ugly as sin. He is always seen in his armor (custom-made to his size!) and lugging around his battleaxe
Personality: Boisterous as hell, on the battlefield and off, boasting (often greatly exaggerated) tales of his combat prowess .
Role in party: Obligatory fatass with an axe that in fact isn't very obligatory. Likes to think of himself as the star player. This is mostly the effect of the bloated ego.
Notes: Creativity at all-time low. Will add more later.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Name: Patrianna Lubelle
Age: 29 for the past 3 years. No, really...
Race: Human
Class: Bard
Appearance: A thin, pale wisp of a woman who looks like she has not made life easy on herself. Bags under her intense brown eyes, crow's feet, and a certain emaciated, strung-out look to her. The only beauty of her "glory days" remaining is her golden shimmering hair.
Personality: Pretentious, self-important, and rude, she fancies herself a star performer. Becomes bitter whenever it becomes apparent people care less about the sound of her voice and more about its magical effects.
Role in party: She fancies herself the leader and charmer of the group. It's debatable how good she is at either.
Name: Sigismund

Race: Human.

I didn't want to be ninja'd... >.>
- Name: Sappho
- Age: She never really told anyone
- Race: Human.
- Class: Mage
- Appearance: Rather vague-looking, with long, dark hair in a messy bun, large, pale blue eyes and a short, slender frame. Often has a dreamy smile on her face.
- Personality: Sappho is very intelligent and quite a strong mage, but suffers from a chronic inability to pay attention to anything around her, instead drifting off into her own little dream world. Because of this, she may have a rather different view of events than the others, and not everything she says is really easy to explain. It's not that she's lying; it's just that she honestly has no idea what really happened.
- Position in the party: Squishy Wizard; she's strong, but she can't take a hit.
- Name: Dr. Gigglephizz
- Age: 729
- Race: Gnome
- Class: Alchemist, dabbles in making potions and all sorts of strange, crazy concoctions. Basically a mad scientist.
- Appearance: Long graying hair with a giant bald spot on the top of his head, thick, gold-plated goggles, and a long-white robe.
- Position in the party: Paid the group a substantial amount of gold to accompany them into wherever to gather some important, rare ingredients. Also acted as a healer and a buffer/debuffer with his potions.

Class: Rogue
Appearance: Small and perky, short, hazelnut brown hair and eyes of the same color. Numerous piercings in her ear, as well as one in her nose and one in her lips.
Position in the party: Trap finding, lock picking, gold stealing and backstabbing. The whole rogue packet in one, quirky halfling.

Alright, that's it, the RP is full for this round, but depending on how long and how well this goes, I may start a round two at some point.
ETA: Still room for Squire, says I. Also, I'm starting up the RP and discussions after dinner. Get ready to rumble and all that.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.

Signups are closed.
I'm guessing most of us are used to playing a character of some sort or another as they stumble through their various trials and tribulations, arriving at least somewhat unscathed to play another day. This is all good and well, but how about we try something different?
The primary export of the little town of Dragon's Toe is adventurers. Mages, fighters, healers, thieves and even the odd bard, the entire town is always bustling with wannabe heroes, and every shopkeeper, smith and innkeeper are keen to sponsor up-and-comers. As a result, the nearby dungeons and monster dens are littered with the bones and remains of the less talented, and the problems with goblins, as any child and fool in Dragon's Toe could tell you, was that they got really uppity once they got their hands on some proper gear. Of course, keeping these buffed-up, and inexplicably well-fed beasts out of town proper was the job of somewhat more talented adventurers, leaving the really juicy nests for the true heroes. It works out in the end, as they say in Dragon's Toe.
Dage Orcclubber used to be one of these adventurers, and not a bad one either, but it got old, so he opened a tavern, The Witch and The Beholder. Life is good as a tavern keeper, and most of all, Dage enjoys the stories adventurers and travelers could tell. As a result, Dage's not an easy man to put at a loss for words, he likes to say he's seen it all. That was, until you came along.
In this RP, you play a group of reasonably seasoned * adventurers, who, after limping through the doors of The Witch And The Beholder is asked the titular question by Dage. You arrived in town with strange gear, stranger wounds, and an umistakable aura of hostile magic and shenanigans. What happened to you, exactly? You tell me. Literally.
So basically, this is playing characters telling a story to a third party, and because of that, I believe some rules and guidelines are in order.
If you want, I can give you a mission your characters set up in the first place * but if you want to do full improv, feel free. Dage will work as the GMPC-ish thing, and I'll use him to help you along if there are no ninjas present. I'll want 5 or 6 players, but not much more. Try to provide the following information for your characters.
Name: Self-explanatory
Age: Ditto
Race: Human, elf, halfling, standard fantasy races, but please avoid half-breeds of various sorts.
Class: Does your character use swords, sorcery, showtunes, or something else?
Appearance: Not too important, but a general idea of how your dude (or dudette) looks would be nice.
Position in the party: Leader, healer, tank, drinking buddy or other. Why is your character on the team?
Your characters can, and probably would benefit from, having a backstory, but the rest of the team doesn't have to know it. Share it if your fellow adventurers should know bits of it, though.
