While that is a possibility (going by Utena, Ikuhara actually uses incest subtext for drama and conflict), I was thinking more along the lines of Kanba's willingness to do absolutely anything for Himari, no matter how morally dubious.
Shoma's a lot more hesitant about doing "wrong" things, and I can see him getting very conflicted if Kanba starts down the Well-Intentioned Extremist path.

MAL || vndb || Blog^ Oh, come on. Crowley revels in his sinister nature, and isn't even trying to hide it. Sure, he's vaguely on the same side as our heroes, but you just know he's up to no good.
I'm not saying Toshihiko Seki has never voiced a good guy (Isshin from Psychic Detective Yakumo would be the most recent example I can think of ; dude was a saint), it's just a very rare thing across the anime I've seen.
I just noticed....whoever fansubbed this series...really likes to liberally add swear words into the dialogue. Swear words that obviously do not exist in japanese...
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Bah, who cares. It adds to the drama from time to time. Besides, we have FABULOUS MAX!
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialIt felt so...forced and gratuitous this time. I'm referring to the part where Himari transforms and talks to that girl.

Aw, really? Oh yeah, the Bon festival, was it?

Follow me on tumblr!I decided to jump the Mawaru Penguindrum craze (...it's pretty popular on Pixiv at least). And I can't decide whether to shake my head or to laugh.
About. Everything.
And I don't get it. What the heck did I just watch? 8D
The Transformation Sequence looks both ridiculous and awesome...........can't describe it. It's just...both funny and sparkly. In a good and bad way.
B-but, cannot stop watching it, I am afraid. ...and these are juts the first two episodes I watched. Continuing later. Too bad there is no 6th episode already. And yes, I think I am contradicting myself a bit. IT'S THIS SERIES' FAULT.
Never Give UpWELCOME TO THE PENGUINFUCK.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI don't think I am getting out of this anymore, so...
Why, this is getting interesting, even. And I feel bad for missing the transformation of Himari when it didn't appear for a while...in the episode with Ringo and her Imagine Spot that really got on my nerves at some point...(Ringo is still kinda cool, I mean, she didn't drop down the hole like Shouma usually does xD)
Why, oh why are we always so drawn to crazy series?

Never Give UpI love this anime! It's one of the first that I started watching as soon as it was being aired. I didn't start doing this until the Winter '11 season at all, so it's still exciting for me!
The episode with Ringo's Imagine Spots was definitely the most annoying. I wouldn't have minded so much if there wasn't a gratuitous amount of *singing* in them.
I find it disturbing that I find myself relating to the shows that cause the most WTF reactions, especially since there's a Yandere Stalker with a Crush in this one.

I am kinda amused, though. In Durarara!!, which was, technically, set in 2010 (the anime, the novel was set in another time...2005 or so?), the cellphones were still those flat cell phones with buttons. (In the novel, one was an iPhone-lookalike, however.)
Now it's touch screen cell phone. And most likely android, too. It's getting popular in Japan now, I believe; the anime gives us a modern feeling 8D *proudly owns an android phone, not that anyone cares*. Also...Sony likes to add their two cents by often using their typical vibration sound whenever an sms arrives in the anime, no? At least I think that vobration tone is pretty characteristic for Sony cell phones...
Never Give UpThat bitch needs help.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialWell, at least now we have an explanation for Ringo's behaviour, but... yeah. Still messed up as heck.
Although she's outcreeped by Redhead Mc Shooty. WTF ?
Wow. Ringo's diary is spectacularly useless, though this episode left me thinking that it's not magical at all — just an ordinary diary about the ordinary things Momoka did with Tabuki while she was still alive that Ringo's turned into a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy artifact in her crazy delusion. IIRC the only thing that really contradicts this is the bit about the woman with the red shoes, which is also vague enough to be just another coincidence, or alternatively the diary is just magical enough that our mystery woman is somehow and for some reason also trying to recreate some scenario described on its pages.
Please be gentle with me.

I suppose he could find out about the whole "my brother wants to bonk my sister" thing. I really doubt his reaction would be "Oh, well that's okay. Go for it bro! Deflower our precious sister!"
