It's easily time Assassin's Creed had its own thread.

It's not over. Not yet.

We do Medicus. There's one for the newest game coming out, revelations.

What the—?

I searched about a dozen times to make sure I wasn't duplicating an old thread!

Edit: Maybe one of the mods can just combine the two?

I was hoping for a new time period for 4*

having the PC spark WW 1 by shooting Franz would have been cool.

I'm really hoping for a French Revolution/Napoleonic Wars setting at some point.

One in the wild west? Or is that far too unlikely? A man can dream.

Set it towards the end of the wild west then, like Red Dead Redemption. That way you get the best of both worlds.

Problem is that AC has always been about navigating your way through cities where every building was climbable.

So 18th/19th century Paris works, but not the Wild West or a modern-day city.

I'd love to see a AC game, or any game really, set in the Napoleonic period. I think if you go too far into the future the series might lose its footing cause every enemy would be using guns.

Then again, it appears that modern Templars only use billy clubs.tongue

Both of those songs are great, but they don't really work mixed together.

Noted. Which game (so far) has your favourite soundtrack? Mine is brotherhood. Hopefully revelations can top that.

I've just started playing Brotherhood.

I've been wonderinf for a while: given that Assassin's Creed is pretty much a yearly event now, will the 2012 game be an end to the series?

I'm kinda hoping for a female assassin, personally. But Napoleonic France — or Napoleonic Europe would be cool. Plenty of shit to climb, multiple Or — holy shit — travlling around with Napoleon's army. Paris, Cairo, Russia.

Or ifthey just want to stick to one country, the Paris Commune would be a fairly good Templar/Assassin setting.

I mean really, does that camera help anyone at all? It seems to be just there to piss you off.

@Hellman Sabian:An assassin's Creed Western would be awesome, especially when you see concept art like this

Hellman: haven't really delved into the soundtracks much, but the credits theme from Brotherhood is excellent, as is Heart/Earth and both Venice Flights from AC II.

Still think the Chase theme from the original game is the best imo.

[up][up]Yeah. But the Venic chase music is awesome too.

Brotherhood doesn't seem to have much of a distinct soundtrack from what I've heard so far (I'm in the third memory.) But dear god are the Romulus tunnel levels great. I've only done two so far, but they've had unique artwork, fun tomb-raider shit, and are too, too long to do in just 8 minutes. Fucking 100% synchronisation! It's been piss easy the rest of the time.

Ha! Ezio's sister runs a brothel now. Heh.

—oh. Did anyone check out the AC comic, set in Russia? Pro's/Con's?

Does anybody know the identity of the Templar who's frequently talking in a lot of those recorded phone convesations (i.e. the guy you hear in the final glyph conversation who's talking about the upcoming catastrophe) in Brotherhood? I'm pretty sure he's the head of Abstergo Industries, and was wondering if anybody figured out if he's an important historical figure or not.

Haven't finished all of The Truth sections yet, but you might want to go re-play AC I. At the end of the game a few of the head Templars show up to talk to Desmond/Lucy/Vidic. Three of them, their faces obscured. Could be one of them.

I don't think they'll actually be a real-world person, though. Too many lawyers.
