There are a ton of Japanese food products that are Defictionalization of foods that appear in various series. You've also got to bear in mind that real dishes often make their way into anime as well.
For example, Dorayaki and Taiyaki are traditional foods.

lol
IIRC, there was an LCL drink sold in Japan (not sure whether or not it was actually Tang), which goes to show that Japan is weird.
HodorEvangelion puts a whole new meaning to Angel cake
.
Or you could look at the FullMetal Alchemist foods some theme park is selling
.
Oh Japan.

Wow. That stuff probably outdoes anything I could think of. I also wasn't aware that Japan had the same general idea I had. I wouldn't be surprised if there WAS a "Sailor Moon ice cream" at one point or even "Magic Knight pops" given what was just shown there. I did know about the Tsundere cookies, though. I think they're mostly spicy with a few sweet ones in the package.
Geass pizza!!
Charlotte's world is very edible looking. At the very least you could get cake from that.
Gurren Lagann could probably do with an energy drink pehaps and maybe some drill toffee or something.
Most interestingly though, if there were Haruhi Suzumiya pockey I would look forward to the interesting and far from ordinary flavours.

I think certain noodles
would fit better to Gurren Lagann.
About the Haruhi pocky, I could see it being flavors that are definitely weird but wouldn't taste good as pocky flavors except to very specific tastes. I'm not sure what that would be, maybe something like meat flavor? And Kyon would try to argue that no one will buy them if they don't taste good, and Haruhi would claim that she's tired of boring typical Pocky and that she doesn't care if "normal" people think they taste bad, she likes that it's unexpected to have a Pocky that looks like strawberry but it's really spicy chili powder or something.
As in, that's something I could see her doing in the series if someone actually let her design Pocky flavors.

I thought this was going to be food that we discovered from watching anime :p I was getting ready to discuss my experience with Dango and Riceballs: I'll stick with my native hispanic foods kthnks.
The FMA food looks so cute D; I want the Alphonse ice cream. Ed's braid looks weird though o_o Who'd want to eat something that is supposed to resemble hair?
This is no different than how some American chains do the same thing. I remember that Carvel had Shrek ice cream! It's just that we don't do it nearly as frequently as Japan!
I wanna Lucky Star rainbow ice cream, since they all have pastel hair.
The Chappy dispenser that Rukia uses in the first season of Bleach... actually exists, and it dispenses regular candy instead of soul candy.

One Piece is easy: lots and lots of meat.
Also, just found this.

I was watching Magic Knight Rayearth and I ended up thinking, what would be some interesting food products that would fit various anime? Like something that would be merchandise but would fit the characters (so not just something like "chocolate chip cookies with anime characters on the packaging" unless it's a character who loves cookies).
Two ideas I thought of:
