I'm disappointed that she included Pluto but left out Ceres and Eris.

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. She knows that you can't give up on producing a show simply if your own ideas don't get past the pitching stage. She obviously gave her all and was thoroughly engrossed in My Little Pony and made it her own world. I would love to see this show become animated in some way though.
If I was able to enjoy Monster High, then I enjoy the galaxy girls. I would LOVE to see an animated series of Milkyway and the galaxy girls. In fact here's a bit of animation. I hope somebody funds the project for Lauren, she deserves to do this show. I'd watch it over the crap thats being played any day!
Indeed. She has reconstructed girlyness in my eyes. If Phineas And Ferb took years to be made a show I wouldn't be surprised if this one too.
I am very curios of this Sailor Moon inspired girls.

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. There are those stand-out shows that you can tell the creator wanted to be of excellent quality, like Phineas And Ferb and My Little Pony Friend Ship Is Magic, that took years to get off the ground. I hope this one does too.
Jupiter's got a pretty retro look there.
And I approve of Neptune.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimLooks pretty neat, and we're in dire need of more western animated series with female protagonists. I'd give it a go if they actually produced it.
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft NextI am loving the Galaxy Girls and would love to see them in a cartoon.
don’t call me nerdy [img][/imgI don't understand the concept, are they humans or the manifestations of the solar system?

Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.I wondered similar things when I heard about Hetalia!
I like this little bit from Uranus's profile...
"Uranus is very particular about the way you pronounce her name. She would like you to know that the proper, scientific pronunciation of her name is: YOOR-en-us. No other pronunciation is acceptable."
And yes, its already added to the Uranus Is Showing page, which makes me wonder... should we make a Tropes Page for Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls? It wouldn't be as extensive as the Friendship Is Magic page obviously, but I think it might be nice as a thank you to Lauren Faust for making go crazy about ponies.
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!Yeah making a article on a sub-par website full of hack literary analyst is definitely a good thank you.

Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I just hope something Western with more Female protagonists does get made, that it's good overall, AND LASTS MORE THAN ONE SEASON. And let it be THIS for starters, but not for enders!
If it gets made and is a success, let it be a trend that rejuvenates our animation industry. It's all I ask for, because Fi M is not enough. We need more and more like that example - the second I see something like The Buzz on Maggie (Sorry to remind anyone of that abomination), IT'S TIME FOR WAR!

I saw her drawings and art about the Space Girls in her Deviant Art page, I want to know more about it. Looks cute, has potential. The space/solar system thing is something I've always liked so it caught my interest.
MY NAME IS NOT LOKI!!!!!!!!!!
This concept, at least to me, looks like MLP. Unless me get details on the plot I don't seem much of a difference.

Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.Lauren Faust has some storyboard sketches of what a possible scene would look like.
I guess if this ever became a cartoon it'd be a WAT Series.

Hey guys I just started a tv tropes article for this check it out!
Milky Way And The Galaxy Girls
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.
Hey have you heard of The Milky Way And The Galaxy Girls?. It's a franchise about girls with a planetary theme made by Lauren Faust from My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic fame official site.
She has tried to make her original characters an animated show. She even tried to sell the idea to Hasbro before MLP as mentioned here. The idea was born from some home made dolls she made on her spare time.I am sure it's just a matter of time before it gets picked by an animation studio, because she is very talented.
What do you think?. So far the concept looks promising. The characters seem more numerous than MLP with a bit Sailor Moon inspiration.
Normally I would ignore this but considering it comes from Lauren Faust it may be amazing. What do you think?
