I think this definitely needs a clarification. While "JBIT but played for laughs in a specific way" might be tropable, the fact that it describes itself as "JBIT but played for laughs" means it's littered with utterly disparate situations where that trope has been parodied, mocked, or played with in any somehow comedic manner.
Bumping this for votes and to re-ask the question: Is there a trope for torture Played for Laughs?

Wait a second. We've had a lengthy discussion here and a consensual outcome. I don't think it's a good idea to just discard that merely because TRS happens to be backlogged.
