Maybe because what he did to them was much worse than what they did to him? I'm not saying they didn't had it coming, but for his hate for them to be overwhelmed by guilt must be the result of something terrible.
Hard to tell. I mean, they, as a group, ganged up on him, and threw something that's obviously precious to him into the river, and that something is still lost even today.
And they did it with such smug grins on their faces. Any normal human being would have done what he did to them if they had the power to, and enjoy every second of the revenge.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."…
Um.
No, I think that would fall under Disproportionate Retribution. I mean, they were just bullies, and they got, at the very least, hospitalized for it.
Dozens of brokens bones, at the very least, in exchange for a couple of bruises and a lost magic rock that they didn't know was anything more than the necklace.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."An expensive looking necklace. Also, I bolded "group" for a reason.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Yes. Bullies normally do work in groups. I fail to see your point.
I mean, the bridge exploded. They'll lucky to alive after that. If they are alive.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."The whole group part just makes it look far worse than it normally is. Also, none of them died, just injured.
Now I'm not saying they weren't punished enough, whether they were or not is up to question, I just said that Arma was foolish to be guilty over giving them what they had coming to them.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Um. Them working as a group is the norm. How could it possibly make it worse than the norm?

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."You guys aren't going to get anywhere. Just let it go
Maybe normal wasn't the best choice of words. But it wouldn't have been as bad if it was just a single bully. Without the other guy holding his arms while another grabbed it and throwing it into the river.
Still bad, and still fully deserving what's coming, but not as painfully bad. Plus, he might have been able to fight back, hence he wouldn't have released his powers and gone felt that guilt over his power...even if he shouldn't have felt guilty anyways.
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."I think that the regret is more about loosing something important and turning into a social reject that everyone think is dangerous than what he did to the bullies. If what he did to the statue is any indication of his avarage strenght those guys got off easy. Also the girl trying to talk with him just make things worst since he probably know she will end up bullied for trying to help him.
This anime is absolutely beautful. I am in love. Honestly. I'm, like, so happy. It's adorable and cute, ad bloody awesome. The guy fights like an EVA. He beats his enemies up with their own body parts. He's awesome.
The Ojou has awesome eyes. The Butler is even more of one hell of a butler than the Black Butler, and the hero is so cute, he's like a mix between Lelouch and that guy in Tiger And Bunny who was always in the backgrounds. He needs a hug. I wanna adopt him.
The Quiet One. No OTT. No unfunny. No squick. No crusades. Harmless and clean.Yes, he got revenge on the bullies. But from what I can tell, he had no control over his power. What he is upset/worried about is the possibility of loosing control again and hurting other people.
So it has little to do with the bullies per-say.
Any way, that was not just "an expensive stone." It was obviously a Sacred Seven and was probably helping him control his powers.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Episode 3: I for one will have no objection if the show continues down the path of Squall being an enormous feeb who gets manipulated six ways to Sunday by Dr. Kenmi and Knight simultaneously. Like a combination of Final Fantasy Tactics and Newspaper Spider-man, with an even more ineffectual protagonist.
What I want to ask is if any jewel would do when using it to transform.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuI assume his "personal" jewel would allow him to transform with no limit, but using other jewels he'll instead consume them because he hasn't "bonded" with it.

The fight scenes are pretty well done in this show. Ah I just remembered what this anime reminds me of, S Cry Ed! I don't know why, but that's what this makes me think of even if these two have little to nothing in common. I think it's the age and gender of the protagonists...
Also, maybe it's just me, but...when you hear Lau Feizoi as a name...was "green eyes blonde hair girl" the last thing to come to mind for anyone else?

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Who else here finds the Darkstone that likes saying hell in every sentence is rather funny to listen too?
Also, Does anyone else think tthat the girl that had golden armor might be an Ensemble Dark Horse?
She had funny lines, an awesome transformation and an awesomely funny reference too.
She says "Its morphin time" And I was like Whut?

Watch SymphogearThose were added in by the translators. Onigawara just ends all of his sentences with 'oni' in Japanese, and that girl originally just said 'henshin'
The girl has a pretty lax attitude, so I guess they added that in to show it. If you noticed, the way she pronounced "henshin" in a droll, lazy way.
I think she was originally trying to go for some sort of "whelp, I guess it's time to transform" kinda tone...
I wonder are those guns supposed to be a part of her powers or just weapons she grabs...because if that really is her power, gotta feel sorry for her...those powers are so uninspired compared to the others.
Summary of her character, cool personality, boring powers.
Summary of Kijima Knight, cool fast transformation...I don't think he's evil.
Summary of Lau Feizou......her appearance does not fit her name at all.
btw........................................anyone think Kenshi and that smiling guy with the weird face might be evil? And that Kijima and Feizou might be good? Just a hunch, I've been wrong before....okay, quite a few times...okay, frequently.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Who's Kenshi again? I think this guy◊ is the final boss. Oh, and Arma's father. He appeared in Hellbrick's flashback, named Yoshitsune.
Kenshi...is the leader of the erm...corporation or building. The guy that fought Knight at the beginning of the episode. I think that was his name....too lazy to check(the video players sites use suck!)
And Kagami REALLY needs to do something more useful than just standing around looking cool, or easily getting his ass kicked in every single fight...he looks cool, but damn is he useless...
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."His name is Kenmi Yuuji.
Ah...I was close.
I guess I made Kenshi up..................no idea where I heard that name before.
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."
Hrm. Sacred Seven has an aristocratic girl and CEO of a major corporation named Ruri, who knows about all the weird stuff going on with a cool butler
Now where have I heard of a show with an aristocratic girl and CEO of a major corporation named Ruri. who knows about all the weird stuff going on with a cool butler before?
