I'm finding it a bit hard to understand everything in your first post. OK, so we're an Eldritch Abomination but you said we're not really? It's confusing.
Am I Ryleth or just a dude with the powers of Ryleth?
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.
From what I can tell, the Eldritch Abominations are dying, so they infected humans to survive. We are the infected humans.

- Name: Gregor Goldberg
- Age: 72
- Eldritch Abomination's Name: G're'alock
- Eldritch Abomination's Form: A infinitely large and complex series of connected gears and pulleys. Despite its infinite size it can fit into a 5 cubic kilometer area. It can float. It seems harmless, but if you examine it closely, you are slowly driven mad by the complexity of it and the impossibilities in it (think Escher drawing).
- Tattoo Form and Location: A simple gear on his right eye. His left eye remains its natural blue, but his right eye is red.
- Appearance: Old and wrinkled. Walks with an ornate cane. Gray hair. Always wears a lab coat.
- Class: Psychological.
- Powers: He can create anything (whether or not its possible) that he can think of, or change the laws of reality any way he can think. Can feed on the sanity of multiple people, the more people, the faster it gains power, and the longer they last. Heals by feasting.
- Weaknesses: It takes a long time, and takes more time depending on the complexity, possibility, and size of the object, or on how big a difference, and in how big of an area it rewrites the laws for. If the movement of the gears is interrupted in anyway, it has to restart. It moves slowly. It eats slowly. it is easily noticeable. It has low defenses. When it is eating, it can only eat.
- Alignment: True Neutral
- Personality: Gregor appears to act like a senile old man, but this is just an act. In truth, his mind is just as sharp as ever, and he is utterly devoted to science. His true personality is that of a mad scientists. He truly believes that he is Above Good and Evil. His personal idol is Nikolai Tesla.
- Backstory: Gregor's father was a scientist, and taught him about science from a young age. He was extremely smart, and managed to get into a university before most people his age were in high school. When he graduated, he became a professor, until he was fired because of unethical practices in his experiments. He then set up his own lab, and continued his experiments, pushing the bounds of science further and further.

Ooooohhh, this sounds fun (in a horrifying, sanity and reality-blasting way tha threatens to unravel all we know and beyond
)!
Gotta go sleep, but I'll try and plan out my character idea this weekend.
I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me.- Name: Gregor Nguyen
- Age: 24
- Eldritch Abomination's Name: V'rxethöd
- Eldritch Abomination's Form: At first glance a levitating oil stain-like blot of light and heat-absorbing darkness with lazily undulating tendrils; however, any longer glance subtly reveals to the onlooker a myriad ways in which everything he knows (people, objects, up to abstract concepts and ideals; everything) slowly distort, corrode, diminish, and fade into utter nonexistence, the cognitive dissonance relentlessly eroding their sanity. Animals simply have their reaction to the supernatural triggered, followed shortly by fight or flight response.
- Tattoo Form and Location: a black, featureless eye in fake relief (think the logo of the german The Dark Eye roleplaying game, but darker) at the base of the throat, just under the adam's apple.
- Appearance: mixed vietnamese/ukrainian from Canada (this makes a lot of sense considering the country's immigration history), 5'8'', 140 lbs, solid black eyes (were medium-brown before) which he hides under mirror-shades at all times, somewhat light southeast asian skin-tone but now visibly unhealthy and sallow, dull and stringy black hair, many small scars on his upper body, most visibly around the eyes and hands. Clean, upper-middle-class clothes, mostly in bright, clashing colors, especially his shirts and t-shirts, but has decent formalwear too.
- Still takes good care of himself, but the overall impression is of the unpleasantly unappealing guy you want to forget about before he even leaves your field of vision; this clashes something fierce with old photos and the recollections of friends and family. Also, has no body odor whatsoever (is it OK to have an extra Red Right Hand?), but masks it with Old Spice bodycare products and cologne.
- Alignment: Neutral
- Personality: Used to be an outgoing, positive young man with an active social life, but has gradually withdrawn from friends and family recently, and become more obsessive with his studies and research; will talk excitedly about it for hours to those willing to listen in a weirdly disjointed, almost stream-of-consciousness way, but otherwise is rather calm and quiet, with a kind of coldly clinical interest in most matters; feels a growing disconnect with the rest of humanity, but isn't particularly bothered by it. Seems to have lost most of his knowledge about geography, and usually looks at maps or asks people to get directions.
- History: Born to a second-generation immigrant vietnamese financial manager from Montreal and a third-generation ukrainian schoolteacher from Sudbury who settled in a Toronto suburb, he grew up in a moderately happy upper middle-class family. Showed a strong aptitude and interest for languages since childhood, being able to speak, read and write english, french, ukrainian and vietnamese by age 10, learned spanish, german, latin, cantonese and mandarin chinese by the time he finished highschool (extracurricular courses helped).
- Followed a linguistics major with a minor in ancient art, studying the interactions between both to determine how they inluenced each other's developments and transformations over time. He had just finished his Masters' degree when he had a strange accident, seemingly losing control and crashing into a lamppost one evening for no obvious reason (friends he had been with 15 minutes prior all testified to police he was sober and alert), and abandoned his vehicle despite having been obviously wounded (some of his blood was found in and around the vehicle) and no evidence of foul play. He was only found a week later, about 60 miles away, walking aimlessly in a state of shock and deprivation, barely aware of his surroundings, covered in dirt, his dried blood and scabs. He had no memories of the past week, having blacked out seconds before the crash.
- He kept many scars that couldn't be fully removed and are still apparent, and extensive head trauma was blamed for both his eyes and startling mental changes; his eyes were very light-sensitive for a while so took the habit of wearing polarized shades at all time, even after his sensitivity returned to normal levels. Having more or less recuperated by the start of the next semester, he's now begun his doctorate thesis on art and languages, with an intensity that worry friends and family, but other university students and personel have begun to worry for something else: the reams of paper he's written so far, claiming that language is the Zeroth Art from which all others sprang and to which they will all return one day may at first appear to be the disjointed ramblings of a mildly delusional mind, but the more one reads, the more it seems to make sense... while everything else seems to lose sense. Very few have read more than a few texts, as another side-effect seems to be splitting migraines.

I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me.Okay, I'm pretty sure, I'd be about time I add my character
- Name: Michael Mac Namara
- Age: 17
- Eldritch Abomination's Name: Nw'Tilianyaljep
- Eldritch Adomination's Form: A A massive eye, with a yellow iris and a slit pupil with several smaller eyes surrounding it, all having a yellow iris and slit pupils
for a body. Surrounding the body are what looks like that of a seven limbed starfish, with the limbs like tentacles that can shift into various weapons. If one were to look into any of its eyes, the person would find himself frozen in fear as their sanity is sucked out through the eye into the pupil, which has earned him the title: The Soul-Sucking Basilisk.
- Tattoo form and Locations: Several eyes with slit pupils, on his left arm, which allow him to absorb sanity.
- Appearance: With brown hair and yellow eyes from his merging, he stands at 6'1'' being very tall for his age. He is often seen wearing black shirts and cargo pants, why he where's this much black is unknown, but he says black feels comfortable. He wears a wrist gadget charger as he often has a lot of electronics on him at times.
- Class: Psychological
- Powers: Michaels powers seem to more around based on combat and not reality warping, while this puts him a some disadvantage, he's a capable fighter, sadistic and blood happy, but capable. The only reality waring power he has in the ability yo bend space to move from one area to another. He can turn into a cloud of black to smoke to avoid attacks .He has the ability to drain the life force out of his opponents, healing himself if he needs it. He levitates, as having the body of a starfish makes it hard to move by walking. He can do a short and long range energy burst from all of his eyes. He can deliver mystic arcane attacks, using the sanity he's collected. He's capable of a multitude of physical attacks and can shift his body parts into weapons.
- Weakness: He can not bend space often with out tiring himself out quickly. He can not constantly keep reforming after turning into a cloud and must wait to reform the longer more he uses it. Bending space and turning into a smoke cloud require him to collect an enormous amount of sanity. Because all of his abilities besides actually draining sanity requires enormous amounts of it, he must constantly absorb it, even during combat inorder to use any attacks or end up resorting to only attacking them directly with physical attacks.
- Alighnment: Neutral Evil
- Personality: Before his merging, Michael was an lazy, only-out-for-himself, sarcastic Jerkass. After his merging he became a sadistic, lazy, only-out-for-himself. sarcastic Jerkass. It would appear that there was some sort of personality merge when Michael was merged to Nw'tilianyaljep, while they naturally had all the same behavior characteristics, the merging caused a Michael to gain a sadistic sense of humor, as such he often humiliates his opponents with extreme pain, before actually draining their sanity.
- Backstory: Born to a "nice Jewish woman" (as his grandmother quotes) and an Irish Catholic father, Michael grew up a well fed clothed and somewhat privileged middle upper class family in a nice town in Northern New Jersey. Despite his well off life, he was resentful of even the people he loved, often lashing out at them, when they pissed him off at the slightest thing. While he showed to be excellent in school, especially mathematics, he had very little care of extracurricular activities, so he was often at home playing games. When he was close to reaching the age of 17, around late August, he became infected, he was lucky to have spent most of his time in his home nearly entirely through out the length of his memory blackout. His worried mother had told him that he spent most of it in bed, rambling, while the tattoos formed before her eyes. While his family and a few close peers still accepted him, many people shunned him, causing more bitterness within him. He really sees not problem in any growing insanity of being fused with Nw'tilianyaljep, he seems to enjoy the powers it offered.

Congratulations human, you've woke up in extreme pain with several tattoos on your body, that you could have sworn worn't there last Friday. Ya wanna know why, cause you've been selected as a lucky candidate for an Eldritch Abomination. That's right, in recent years the Realm of Eldritch has been deteriorating and so have it's inhabitants, so as a plan to save their reality warping, madness inducing selves, they've decided to implant themselves in humans, fusing with them. While this does give the human wonderfully magnificent power, it cause the human to need to feast upon the sanity of others, or else they end up deteriorating like the being currently implanted in their soul. Luckily, the world is much different then previously thought, so have fun, oh and try to look out for that group of eldritch humans trying to kill you.
