Not just stick it, whack them in the head with their own bibles and yell at the top of your lungs: WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!?!?!?
As for Dragon Ball Kai itself: It's not bad by any means of the word (Very little can be considered bad when it involved Dragon freakin' Ball), but I was to choose a shorter DBZ, i'm sticking to Dragon Ball Z Abridged...
I did however, hated when they replaced the former Latin American dub... Thankfully, the Original Z is still up in here, at midnight. (Currently in the part where SSJ Goku is Curbsomping Frieza)

A trve man never dies, even when he's killed!
That was Dragon Ball In Name Only. And it's also a freaking hilarious movie.
The alternate colors of Vegeta and Nappa
Actually, Kai only changed Vegeta's coloring and forgot to change Nappa's, who's still wearing armor that's colored like Raditz's. Which makes the scene look very bizzare. They also forgot to recolor Vegeta in his brief cameo when Raditz was explaining how the Saiyans' planet trades worked. So, oops.
On that note, I still wonder why the HFIL they changed Raditz's hair from black to dark blue?
Maybe they didn't cast Ayres for the role yet, so they had to make due with the old VA.
No "maybe" about it. They didn't cast Ayres yet. They were intending on re-using Linda Young for the role but when they got to translating the Freeza saga, they realized that her voice just wouldn't work with the character's dialogue, so they cast the much more fitting Chris Ayres instead.

When I first heard about Dragon Ball Kai, I thought "it's pointless." I kind of warmed up to it since then, since at least kids are getting to see DBZ dubbed in a much better form than the original hackjob from the 90s/early 2000s. And I admit, I sometimes watch it on TV when nothing else is on.
However, I still think its pretty much just a cheap cash grab.
And you know, the positive reaction to trimming the series down and putting it in widescreen just baffles me—especially since, when Saban edited the shit out of the Saiyan and Namek sagas and Funimation released the series in widescreen with "digital remastering" that removed some of the line art, people were furious, but Toei does the same damn thing and its suddenly awesome? It makes no sense!
What also makes no sense is people complaining that Funimation renames it to Dragon Ball Z Kai. I'm 100% behind Funimation on this one, because for it to be Dragon Ball Kai it would have to cover the first sixteen volumes of the manga, and it simply doesn't. It only covers the Z portion, and thus it should've been called Z from the get-go. I can only wonder why Toei didn't catch that.
So overall, I'm fine with Kai as something that plays on TV, and I like the OP and ED, but to be honest it will never replace the original version as far as I'm concerned. Warts and all, Toei did it right the first time, and this is just them repackaging the same product for quick money. And they're not even going to cover the Buu saga this time, so there's that too.

I can't say I minded the episode editing that Saban did, but I do know that most people found Funimation's widescreen "digital remastering" to not be of good quality, especially when compared to the Dragon Boxes.
