That just makes it even more clear. No hero starts their journey already prepared to face their ultimate challenge, that would make for a boring story.
They have issues they have to overcome to better themselves during whatever journey lies ahead. Perfect hero material as far as Admiral is concerned.
Simple summary: Everyone is attending the sixteenth birthday party of princess Jo for individual reasons. Some want to find love, others want to have some fun, and so on. Then things kinda morphed into the beginning of Sleeping Beauty, except that a lot of people are trying to stop the Maleficent expy before she hands out any curses. The results of this decision so far are...mixed, to say the least.
From a Spoony Bard who would rather sacrifice his own life and sanity to protect the rest of the innocent crowd to a "gibbering mess"...poor schmuck's not gonna catch a break anytime soon, is he?
Anyways, I'm out for the night. Best of luck, everyone!
There's still a little bit of fighting left to do (i.e the shapeshifters on the balcony.) I stopped posting so that the people who missed out on most of the battle would have a chance to post and do something.
Also, it would actually make sense for Sibrand to be handwaved up onto the balcony, since he's a noble and all.
