- Name – Tale
- Gender – Female
- Age – A Young Adult in Elf years
- Race – An Elf
- Appearance – She has long blue hair and pointed ears expected of an elf. However, she is rather short as far as an elf goes.
- Equipment – She wears a blue leotard and silver armor around her torso. She also carries a sword to strike down enemies in the name of profit.
- Skills – She is a bounty hunter, in that she tracks and captures vile scum in order to make profit. As such, she is skilled in tracking and surviving out in the wilderness.
- Background – Because of disagreements she got in the past with her parents, she soon left home to make a name for herself. She learned as an apprentice the art of bounty hunting and is now striking out of her own for the first time.
- Personality – Tale is very prideful and boastful about her accomplishments. She will often exaggerate her own accomplishments to make herself look good. Despite this, she does enjoy helping people and has a good heart. However, she does expect payment for her services. A girl's gotta eat, you know?

Wizard Needs Food BadlyAccepted.
You're gonna have to haul arse if you want to get her into the questing party, though, although she does seem to be the kind of character who would sort of be inclined to do so.
...Or just have her meet them at the next town. That would be a bit of a delay, though.

Anyway here's BlackwallYay!
Sign-up underway...
EDIT: There! -sighs-
Agh, I was going to recycle a character from a previous RP when I saw daltar’s post and panicked. Elanor’s really alike to Clarice physically, but in personality not so much…is okay?
- Name: Elanor
- Gender: Female
- Age: 9 or something
- Race: Human- witch
- Appearance: Small, almost fairy-like in composure, light-blonde shoulder-length hair pulled into two wispy plaits, big light-brown eyes that don't focus because she’s visually impaired.
- Equipment: She has a flute, which has been always hung around her neck off a dodgy red ribbon with her name inscribed on it, which she can use as a medium through which she can affect her opponents with, but she’s not up to the stage where this is an actual threat. However, it is possible some villains may run from the horrible sounds she makes from the instrument. Apart from the flute, random things with strange, interesting shapes and textures that she finds and keeps in her pocket, like rocks, feathers, and a yoyo.
- Skills: Random bursts of power, though the times that the power does anything really useful is rare. Therefore, she’s developed the renowned offensive methods: the Puppy-Dog Eyes and the “Get-The-REDACTED-Out-Of-There”. She hears and smells better than the average human, as is with visually impaired persons, and has a telepathic link with her familiar, though apart from getting a warped visual impression of the dog’s surroundings (with a free migraine), it does not much else apart from dictate the dog-puppy’s every need. She has a gift for reading people, and it’s not magical; finding purpose in actions and reactions, patterns in random sequences, seeing things from all perspectives, but the little details take up all her concentration and she forgets the world outside. She can also play the flute rather badly, but it works well as a dog whistle (that’s more of the dog’s hearing power though :D) She has great potential as a future witch, but for now, she’s just a weird blind kid with a dog.
- Familiar: Always accompanied by a stupidly adorable dark-spotted hunting dog of whom no-one can conclude his status as; a mature puppy or a childish dog. Adorably selfish like any puppy, but loves Elanor very much and will defend her to the death. Has wicked sharp teeth and the most cutest, widest eyes you have ever seen ^u^ Shares a close empathy/telepathic link with Elanor.
- Background: She doesn’t remember much, the world being (and still being) a blur of sound and smells and other such sensations. Some years ago she found she could see through her dog’s (it was a dog’s voice she heard in her mind?) eyes, but it was blurry and colourless and really, blindness was preferable to the migraine that accompanied the sight. In a darker and edgier RP, she would be ostracized from general society, but in this happy, fantasy world, random bursts of generally benevolent power is normal! She was just an average street kid, fed by the charity organisations that fed street urchins al over the land, and lived in her own fantasy world in her mind.
- Personality – Was a Creepy Child in the original RP but I’ve changed her into a Cloud Cuckoo Lander/ Ambiguously Autistic. She’s just not ‘’there’’ half of the time, and has this weird vacant smiling expression on her face. She’s not insane; she just enjoys listening to the voices in her brain a little too much. Cheerful and friendly, if a little airheaded, but if you press her enough and completely wake her up from her semi-unconscious state, she becomes irritable and unpredictably moody and her determination is stone cold; if the situation comes where she or someone she loves is threatened, she will do whatever it takes, even if it means her death, or someone else's. She would also really love to be able to see. She would murder her own dog to be able to see. But that’s not going to happen here…right? Right?! –panics-
- Other: Please tell me if it’s too close to daltar’s concept because I’m rather tentative about this.

When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.I certainly hope not.
She seems like she could be a good foil to Clarice, though.
Accepted.
The group are sort of being attacked by a giant worm in an underground tunnel at present, but she could very easily just bump into them at random or something. Half the group is above ground.

My time is constrained though is constrained a word? so I'll see
Could I get a recap, or would that be better in the discussion?

When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Here's the character I drew up. Let me know if it's okay.
- Name: Marianela Cuevas
- Gender: Female
- Age: She hasn't exactly kept track. Somewhere in her mid to upper hundreds.
- Race: Xana
- Appearance: She is of medium height with a slender build, with knee-length curly golden-blonde hair. Her deep green eyes are approximately the color of the underside of forest foliage on a sunny summer day. She appears to be around twenty. She wears loose, flowing, white dresses with girdles/belts of gold and/or silver. Between her pale hair, pale skin, and white dress, she generally looks pretty ethereal. She has a fondness for fine jewelry but never wears shoes.
- Equipment: She carries three things with her at all times: her favorite comb* , her spindle, and her scissors. All of them are made of pure gold. If she's traveling, she will generally take with her at least one change of clothes and an assortment of her jewelry and treasures.
- Skills: She has the basic set for her kind: She can spin sunlight into gold and moonlight into silver, and she can create objects (such as her combs and belts) out of the thread. She has an enchanted singing voice, which brings happiness/peace to the pure of heart, and healing to the pure of heart who are sick, but which causes pain and feelings of suffocation to the impure of heart and can drive them to insanity. She can breathe underwater and is immune to extreme temperatures. If she gets angry, she gains superhuman strength and speed.
- Background: When she was younger, Marianela was fascinated by humans and lived near a town. As such, she interacted with people on a fairly regular basis. However, after a while, she grew tired of having greedy people trying to come after her treasure, of amorous young men courting her because of her beauty, and of the occasional "witch" hunts the town would go on when a few too many people had messed with her and been killed as a result. So she left. She wandered around for a few years and eventually settled down in a location (near a stream, in a forest) that was near enough to a road that she could attract attention if she wanted to, but far enough away that she wouldn't be noticed if she didn't want to be. She's been living there for a few hundred years.
- Personality: At heart, Marianela is kind and means well. If you gain her approval, she will be quite helpful and may shower you with gifts. However, she is one of the Fair Folk (although she is not a fairy) and has a temper in keeping with that. Also, she does not truly understand death, being by nature both solitary and immortal. When meeting new people, she generally holds off judgment until they prove themselves one way or the other; while this "judgment period" is in effect, she can appear quite cold. She is quite intelligent, but she is also somewhat scatterbrained. She loves beauty and is quite fond of both flowers and precious gems; as a result, she is quite protective of her own treasure. Being a nature spirit, she is also quite fond of the natural world, and does not take kindly to anyone who despoils it (or threatens to do so).
- Other: If the right measures are taken, it is possible to disenchant xanes. If you succeed, you get her wealth and (if you are an unattached male) her hand in marriage. However, the tasks are nigh impossible and the penalty for failure is death.
I would like to apologize for dropping out so soon and suddenly. I stopped paying attention to the thread for quite some time, then checked back and realized the plot had left me behind (which is entirely my fault).
Many don't seem to take dropping out very seriously, but in retrospect I can't help but feel crappy about it.
But I am drawn to this RP like a moth to the guilt-ridden flame. I am wondering if it would be so terrible of me to ask if I could join again. I would understand completely if such a request would be out of the question, and if so I still wish both the RP and the players/characters that drive it the best of luck and health.
Part of me wonders if I'm being a bit dramatic. I apologize if that is so.
...Maybe if I add a "pretty please"?
Need a tall, brawny fella to come by and inspect your pickle? Perhaps I may be this fella.Thank you! Although, I want to start again with a new character if that's fine. Anicca was an interesting character, but I am simply not interested in telling her story anymore. I want to start afresh with a character whose story is new to me.
That said, here's my signup:
- Name: Wolfgang Pierce
- Gender: Male.
- Age: 28.
- Race: Human (but he's slowly working on changing that).
- Appearance: He is average in height and more than a bit thin, having long, unkempt, vinyl black hair, and curious jade-colored eyes, and an angular face. The most immediately apparent things about his appearance, however, is that his left arm has been replaced by an intricate brass machine and he is always trembling slightly (probably due to inhaling a few too many alchemical fumes). He typically wears a white, ruffled dress shirt, black trousers, and a red velvet coat with gold trim, and always has a look of half-mad fascination on his face. Occasionally, one can see him consuming small golden pills.
- Equipment: He wears an assortment of tools on a belt (almost like a sort of toolbelt), and has an array of useful potions/gasses/pills carried in a satchel at his side, which also stores a few gold coins.
- Skills: Highly skilled in both the ancient art of alchemy (making magical substances from ingredients with inherent mana) and the very recent art of machinery* .
- Background: Wolfgang was the child of a wealthy government official in the far-off nation of Anaehm. Though it was a loving family, he never felt as though he was truly at home among them. He was the odd one out; his strange thought processes were almost never understood, and his vision of a future where man is aided by machines were (understandably) laughed at. His father, a caring but severe man, sent him to a magical academy where his intelligence could hopefully be put to better use.
Unfortunately, Wolfgang proved incapable of any kind of magic, and was.promptly booted from their doors. It was too late, though; he became fascinated with the inner workings of academic magic, and the way it's effects wove together like cogs and levers in a machine. He experimented with alchemy, which he was able to tinker with despite his deficit, and one of the more volatile of these experiments cost him his arm.
But still no one could understand the enigma of his mind. Until he met Charlotte.
The adopted daughter of a wandering band of seers, Charlotte was Wolfgang's true dream: A true friendship with someone who could see his inner workings, that, in time, became something more. Until one day she vanished without so much as a goodbye.
Wolfgang fell to pieces. Eventually the grief became too much to bear, and he designed a special pill specifically to block out the memory. Making it a point to remember that it was urgent to take them, his self-medication is to this day what prevents him from being a useless sobbing wreck.
Currently, he works as a potions dealer and inventor, and travels often to sell both wares.
- Personality: He strikes most as a generally friendly but exceedingly odd fellow. He is something of a genius, but his thought processes are often so bizarre that it comes across as sheer madness (the trembling doesn't help, either). He is quite excitable, and sometimes even childish in his occasional frenzied glee. His speech is frenetic and often very cryptic, unable to express his racing and jumbled thoughts. He occasionally has trouble understanding people, and wishes they were more like machines which make sense and behave predictably.

Oh don't worry, players tend to disappear...like how I disappeared from MMFRPG!
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.
