Discuss Mega Man's most recent comic book adaptation here.

It's been good so far, doing what it can to wring out as much plot as it can from such a paper thin storyline. I kinda wish Mega Man would ask the Robot Masters why they were acting evil. I don't think it would amount to anything, but it would be interesting to see their response.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.

I just have to say, I REALLY like this Guts Man. Kind of on the fence about Cut Man's Hurricane of Puns though.

...and that's terrible.

I love it, since it's Darker and Edgier without twisting the source material into something unworkable. The wide range of emotions Rock deals with feel very intense and believable under the circumstances. I mean, acquiring Robot Master Weapons IS cannibalizing the parts of his fallen brothers, killed by his hand because they were brainwashed by Wily...

I loved the little twist at the end of the last issue. Mega Man has saved the Robot Masters but Dr. Wily has activated Time Man and Oil Man! it's nice that they were included, I wonder if that means Enker and the the other Mega Man Killers from the Game Boy games can show up?

I hadn't even heard about this until now! What issue is it up to so far?

Seriously, I didn't even see anything of this in my local comic store.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.

I like how they dealt with Oil Man's, um, "issue" by covering his face with his scarf. He actually looks like some sort of badass.

I personally feel that this Mega Man comic is really doing a good job adapting the games while also telling it's own story. I really like how Dr. Wily is being protrayed. For the first time in ages I feel like Dr. Wily is a real and credible threat to Mega Man and isn't just hiding behind his robots.

So anyone read the first part of World's Collide?

How does this continuity stack up to the Capcom continuity? Please someone give me a good answer instead of sidestepping it like everyone is doing on the Archie Sonic thread.

Its pretty ok. not much done yet/ Its only been 24 issues. 4 for the first game 4 for powered up and 4 for 2. Then a 3 part protoman and then some one shots to kill time before Worlds collide. Its good if a little rushed in the first few arcs when they hardly spend any time on the fights with the robot masters.

Also, how is this compared with the fan-favorite Megamix manga?

Im not really sure I havent read that. And compared to the games it can only do the original which were light on continuity and stuff anyway.

Despite not reading either normally, I bought the first issue of the crossover because, well, an official crossover like this was too good to pass up on.

And oh, what a joy it was. Absolutely not disappointed. Despite it mostly being an issue with Dr. Wily and Dr. Robotnik. Frankly, this thing could be all about them just being EBF Fs and I'd still get a kick out of it.
