Kyrin's ears twitched a bit at the mention of the static sound. He heard nothing except for himself, and the Paradox before him. "You must be imagining it, I have never heard of anything that you are describing."
Watching the girl as she attempted to open the box, a sudden thought came to his mind. Narrowing his eyes, Kyrin asked his question to Nora, "...What is the noise saying?"
Svir glanced down at the waking girl next to him, smirking a bit as he gently patted her head. "We are in Dead Master's territory, but we're in a safe location, so there's nothing to worry about. How are you feeling?"
"Simple, to replace these... ridiculous and restrictive limbs, and attach myself a new jaw. If I were to continue walking around the way I am now," Miku pointed to her limbs as she continued walking, "then I will easily be found out by the other Paradoxes. At least with different limbs I wont be able to be recognized as easily if I didn't change my appearance... don't you think?"
"What the hell are you doing?" "I'm playing a role, sir, what are you doing?"Want
"I-it's not saying anything,it's-" Most definately wasn't saying anything. It was just nonsense gibble-garbage.
Nora abruptly dropped the box she'd been playing with, spazzing out in a klutzy moment as she fumbled to try and catch it. The sound of an unnerving rumble rattled in her head, earning an exasperated look from the girl. "-growling? The hell, is that kid of yours lurking around here?"
Annoying Nora's ears were ringing in a way that was definately making her stomach churn. Damn it! She knew she shouldn't have ate the weird pig-fish thing! Collared
Nora blinked, eye twitching and about to vomit. "What. ..urp!"

Cafe-au-lait~Duh. Of course hunting her would be dangerous. This place was no preschool playground. Maiya took a deep breath, then exhaled heavily afterwards. She just wanted to go home and get the hell out of here. White Knight Galaxy had information he was willing to share. May as well take the bait...
"Sure. That would be adequate. The sooner I find her, the sooner I can kick her ass and bring her back here for you to deal with. Everybody wins."
"Heh, if you don't believe me, then just wait till we get to Salveid," hummed Miku as she continued down the path that led towards Salveid, Kani following right behind her. "We are taking the Tomb of the Machine Kings, right?"
"Heh, don't worry about it, Kumi. Well, feel free to go back to sleep if you want, there's no danger here," spoke Svir.
Patting Kumi on the head, Svir continued to silently stare at the tiny golden figure on top of the castle... almost as if he had the feeling it was staring at him.
Kyrin sighed a bit as he quickly reached into his robes, and pulled out an odd looking type of leaf. Folding the leaf and immediately walking towards Nora, he jabbed it into her mouth. "Chew and swallow the leaf. It may taste bitter, but it will settle your stomach and prevent you from vomiting all over my floor."
"Now then, there is no one else here, besides you and I. Since we've established that there is no one else here except for us, tell me if the voice you hear sounds familiar to you?" asked Kyrin as a growing suspicion began to arise in his head.
"Wonderful news, my dear child!" exclaimed White Knight Galaxy as he chuckled. "The Songstress is located in the Tinket city of Salveid. We've sent the girl Alice and her hound after her... but we've yet to hear any word of her progress. Thus, I believe the traitorous Songstress is still located somewhere within Salveid... and I'd truly appreciate it if a Paradox would see to it that she suffers greatly."
Tilting his head a bit, he glared at Maiya. "You do know where the Tinket city Salveid is at, yes?"
"What the hell are you doing?" "I'm playing a role, sir, what are you doing?""Hk-!" Nora struggled not to choke at the bitter taste swishing around in her mouth, face wrinkled in disgust. "Of course it doesn't!"
Hate liars
"I don't tell lies." The yellow eyed girl felt the hair on her neck bristling, unsure if she was unnerved or just angry. "It's freaky as hell. You're sure there's nothing electronic to just turn it off?"
Cafe-au-lait~Craaap. Okay, what's important here is not to panic, because that never helps. Just focus on something other than the fact that you just accidentally encouraged a Yandere's affections for you and are probably gonna di-MOVING ON. Now let's see, the Overseer is probably reasonably close by now, so I guess I should probably stall for time. If some Deus Ex Machina doesn't get here fast, though, I'm gonna be in for... I don't even know, nor do I really want to know.
"U-um... I..."
(◕ ヮ ◕)ノ"Looks like we've got a pretty good advantage in numbers," Hisoka said, assessing the situation. "I say we attack now."
Formerly known as Flash Of Sonic"There is nothing of the sorts here, girl," spoke Kyrin with a slightly irritated look. Sighing Kyrin moved towards Nora and glared at her, before placing his hand upon her head. "Now please, will you calm down and relax? I need you to relax, and listen to that noise... tell me exactly what it says and what it sounds like. If you cannot do that, then I cannot help you... understand?"
Kyrin's voice was full of seriousness, and his eyes were focused on the girl intensely... almost as if he had a feeling what the voice was.
"Not Ancient Kings... Machine Kings, Midori. And by that, I meant are we taking the catacombs where they resided?" asked Miku as she arrived at a crypt.
"Not like it matters, we are already here," spoke Kani as he moved towards the Machine King Crypt.
Rolling her eyes, Miku followed Kani.
A few awkward silent minutes passed as the group descended down the crypt stairs. "So..." began Miku in order to break the silence, "Is there anyone you're interested in?"
"What's the matter, Kuroki... Are you too nervous to even talk to me now?" hummed Dead Master as she got even closer to him.
"Alright. I'll follow your lead, Hisoka," said Jou as he readied his axe. "I'll be right behind you... and hopefully the Overseer will join in as soon as we move."
"There's nothing wrong... it's just that..." Svir narrowed his eyes as he glared at the tiny golden figure. "There's... something on top of Dead Master's Castle. I can't quite tell what it is, but it's golden, and that I have a feeling that it's looking in this direction."
As Svir continued to stare at the figure... it suddenly hopped off of Dead Master's Castle... disappearing behind it.
"Hm... It disappeared all of a sudden. Kumi, can you walk?" asked Svir as he turned towards the girl next to him, a look of worry on his face.
"What the hell are you doing?" "I'm playing a role, sir, what are you doing?""I'm freaking calm." Nora snarled underneath the very unwelcome hand, trying to shrug out from it. She hated being short. "A noise doesn't mean it's like talking, it's just-"
It was a sudden, soundless 'thump' of something vague and awful that cut out everything else for a moment. "-mine? No, look, I just want to hurry up and go home. Okay? Can you let go of me? I don't.. I'm not interested in staying here. Mom's waiting on me, so.."
The black haired girl stopped rambling, abruptly flustered. "Eat.. me? I don't want, don't..that's not the way I.."

Cafe-au-lait~Kyrin raised his eyebrows as the girl continued to mumble in her odd state. Sighing a bit, he bopped her on the head with his hand before glaring at Nora. "Mortal," spoke the fox-sage coldly, "it would be unwise for you to continue allowing your other to play tricks on you... you'll go insane if you do."
"Interested as in a partner," spoke the Songstress as she descended down the stairs with both Midori and Kani. "You know, like those Tinkets. They have mates and what not. So I was just a tad curious if there was anyone like that to you."
"That question is still rather sudden to ask, especially to a young girl who you've just met not too long ago," replied Kani.
"I think I have the right to ask the person who's friends with males who punch people in the faces," spoke Miku with a hint of anger, clearly still mad about what Kuroki did during their fight, "and is supposed to be watching over me a simple question on whether or not they are interested in anybody. So, Midori, are you?"
"Alright," said Svir with a small smirk as Kumi stood up. "We should make our way to Dead Master's castle," the Sovereign turned towards the distant castle, "I don't like the idea of that figure being roaming freely at the castle while the others are focused on Dead Master."
Cracking his neck and stretching his shoulders, Svir nodded towards the castle before beginning to walk. "Let's go, that golden figure is definitely going to cause the others some problems... problems that they will need help with."
"What the hell are you doing?" "I'm playing a role, sir, what are you doing?""The hell are you on about?" Nora glared at Kyrin, not comprehending and highly annoyed even as the noise finally silenced and her stomach righted itself. Then again, there might not be much arguing with that last part. Something was definately very wrong here. "Whatever. Can we just hurry up and go?"
Nausea belted the girl in the gut again, soundless roaring jamming inside of Nora's ears in a burst of unpleasant heat. The yellow eyed girl pressed a hand against her forward, warding off a migraine. "I don't care anymore. I'll just ignore it. Can we hurry up and go to Dead Master's place so I can go home? Please? I'm sick of waiting."
Cafe-au-lait~Kuroki took a step backward.
Craaaaap. Okay, if there were a time for some Deus Ex Machina, it would be now. Like maybe the Star Maiden showing up, or the voice in my head that claims to be my paradox black speaking up again and somehow knowing Dead Master's weak spot, or THE OVERSEER FINALLY GETTING HIS SLOW REPTILIAN ASS HERE! How can he be this slow? ...This raises the uncomfortable thought that maybe he didn't hear when Minato called for him. Which would be very, very bad.
For the record, she probably doesn't have a weak spot.
Oh. Why are you just now saying something, anyway? Can you only talk to me when I'm in danger or something?
Actually, I was planning on staying quiet and seeing how far you could get without my help, but this whole situation is kind of freaking me out.

(◕ ヮ ◕)ノ"Hm..." closing his eyes, and sighing, Kyrin nods his head before speaking, "Alright... We shall head to Dead Master's Castle immediately then."
Staring at Nora for a bit, the fox-sage picks up a few more boxes and vials from the chest before turning around and making his way to a distant door at the end of the small den. Opening it, he turns back towards the girl. "Come, Nora... If you wish to go home soon, we might as well head there now," says the fox-sage as he walks onward.
Tilting his head a bit as he walked, Svir glanced at Kumi. "Are you sure your strength has returned to you? You look... tired still."
"So I see... Alright, I wont prod you anymore on the subject... for now."
Eventually after descending the stairs for a couple of silent minutes, you arrive at the same place where you fought the three Machine Kings... their motionless and battered corpses still where they were at when they were defeated... completely untouched.
"You and your friends sure did a number on them... it's... sad seeing them like this," murmured the Songstress to Midori as she stared at their corpses.
"Damn it, change of plans, we're going to have to head in there now Hisoka!" As soon as he says that to Hisoka, Jou charges through the window... causing a loud crashing sound to echo through the hall as he lands on the floor, the glass shattering as it falls straight onto the floor. Standing up, he twirls his axe within his hands before glaring at Dead Master and her floating giant skulls that immediately face him.
"Ooo... Is he a friend of yours, my dear sweet Kuroki?" hums Dead Master as she glaces at Jou, and then back at Kuroki.
"What the hell are you doing?" "I'm playing a role, sir, what are you doing?"

"That annoying chitter-chatter, it's like radio static or something.." Nora frowned, starting to feel a little flushed and wondering if there even were any around her while prying at the edge of the box carefully. Fox-face did apparently live under a stump after all. Granted, nice and well-lit. "It's.. making my stomach.. urp!"
