You ask the next poster a question, and then the next poster answers it and posts their own question.
Do you own any pets?
I'd say probably Sonic himself. I like his chill and confident personality, and his theme songs are usually the best in the games. Of course, I also like Tails, Vector, Amy, and many others.
Which part of TV Tropes do you spend more time on: the wiki or the forums?
Tbh I never really hated his minigames in the original, but they did make them better in the remake.
Hey, so… it's kinda frowned upon to sandwich post. If it's a dead forum thread, maybe… but this is Ask the next poster a question. Someone else was innevitably going to answer.
At any rate, I always run it with people before I grab any snacks… though usually I just buy my own.
Do you sometimes find yourself spending a lot of time, scrolling through YouTube for different videos? Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.
No.
Do you have many followed pages? Approximately how much?
To be clear, I'm referring to this one.
I have three pages followed, and to be honest, I do not remember following any of them.
What game do you think has the most fun customization features?
"It was the best of times, it was the BLURST of times?"Probably the Animal Crossing series. With the hundreds of different pieces of clothing and accessories that there are, it's fun to see how many weird or random combinations you can do for your character's appearance.
What work do you think gets a lot of undeserved hate?
Tbh I never really hated his minigames in the original, but they did make them better in the remake.Gacha games are often dismissed as greedy cashgrabs devoid of any meaningful content. The first part I agree with, but the second part is plain untrue. These devs have long figured out that the best way to entice players to spend money for a collection of .png and .wav files is to make them as attractive as possible. Having talented artists to illustrate them and casting big-name voice actors in the roles are obvious, but a lesser-appreciated part is that these games tend to have really good writing. People don't just get invested in gacha characters just because they have big tits or really hot voice; they empathize with their personalities, views, relationships, and struggles! Some of the biggest players in the space like Fate/Grand Order thrives because of the quality of stories they put out!
To reiterate, I'm not condoning the gacha elements. People hating them is very much deserved. The vast majority of gacha players would rather not gamble for content! It's just that there's plenty to love and appreciate despite these games having one of the shittiest monetization schemes thought of by capitalism. You can enjoy the characters, music, and story without playing these games; it's how I recommend newcomers to Girls' Frontline, in fact.
How did you get into your hobbies?

Nothing seems to have changed. But perhaps one day it will.In a word: Middle School. Eighth Grade. The project was writing an essay on what would happen if you wound up going to space one day... or for a few days... but I kidna went the next step and... apparently had the idea to actually write a story, with myself, and a different character (i.e. the other astronaut)... and I wrote myself going insane in there... and I did so well on that assignment, not only did the 100% get earned there... some of the teachers were genuinely starting to think that I might have been onto something with writing... and that's kinda been a trade I've pursued ever since.
If you could listen to a rock band right now, which one would it be? Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.
Sadly, but none. I don't really have any particular topics I would like to research about, I just randomly learn about random things of various different topics everyday. This isn't really niche, though if anything count, probably about TV Tropes, the tropes, the Tropers and everything related.
What's your opinion on this Achievement List
? What task/challenge... can I add to the list?
Interesting.

https://enigmatics.org/puzzles/All I'm going to suggest an achievement to add.
I have done this myself for The Xenophile trope.
What is your favorite instance of Developer's Foresight?
Heal the Cutie, then point the Laser-Guided Karma and Disaster Dominoes towards the Asshole Victim that had wronged her. I love this plot line! The former Trope Namer, NetHack, has some memorable examples. My favorite is this. Is there any reason to throw an object upwards? No. You can do it anyway. When you do, it will fall on your head and damage you. If you die, your tombstone will read "killed by elementary physics".
What's the farthest you've ever travelled from your home?
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna. My god, a nuanced question about this subject matter at last? It's a MIRACLE!!
So I'm gonna do an answer I know will get weird looks my way... but The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is a game I like. This is a game I really like. This is a game that offered a bit of a nice shake-up, with a wee bit more leeway... but like in that way that The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds offered more leeway. But you would have fans swearing up and down that BotW is the way of the future, is here to stay, is the way, the truth, and the life for all future Zelda games to go down, as evidenced by the existence of its sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a game where people have come to me in some of these Forum Games threads, taking the time out of their day to ask me why the heck it is that I don't have any desire to play that sequel... but the fact of the matter is that BotW is a shake-up, but not the shake-up for me. I'm ready for Zelda games to move onto the next different direction, like Wind Waker was for Ocarina of Time, like Twilight Princess was for Wind Waker, like Skyward Sword was for Twilight Princess, and like BotW was for Skyward Sword. It's a good game, but the continuity it spawned outstayed its welcome.
On this topic, is there a game in a series that you're a fan of, where you'd be okay with never thinking about again? Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.
No specific genres in my mind, but there are tropes in interactive media that translate well to non-interactive media. There is a good reason why Video Game Movies Suck. Espacially movies about video games that don't have a plot to begin with. Also, RPG Mechanics 'Verse is difficult to do well if you want to add a real plot, given that said mechanics are built on Rule of Fun that just don't work well without the game elements.
What's a genre that you didn't like in the past bug got to like later?
I had this with The Western.
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.Super Metroid, or EarthBound (1994). Technically the only SNES games I've really played, but I do genuinely love both games.
What's a movie you cried or almost cried at, but isn't a staple of "saddest movies" lists?
"It was the best of times, it was the BLURST of times?"I think The Breakfast Club is usually slotted more into the "80's teen movies" category than in the "sad movies" one, but still, it left me feeling very sad once I finished it, probably sadder than intended.
If you could time-travel, when would you like to go?
Just a simple man, making my way through the Tropes.

Schooling in its entirety is behind me... but, also, for the local school area, Spring Break ended, yeah.
You, Troper, over there! What is your favorite Sonic character? Self-professed Wild Card who thinks cynicism isn't so bad.
