You just have to be in the right mindset when you go and see this film. For instance, instead of expecting they're usual heartwarming, tearjerking emotional films I'm just going to go in there expecting a mildly amusing comedy and nothing else. Sort of like how I view every Dream Works Film
Fridge Horror: It just occurred to me that this might be the first second year Dream Works has made a better film than PIXAR did. Not sure if I should be pleased or mortified.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Ok ok, now its getting good (and by good I mean 'I can't wait for more of this' good). Top critics at 55% They're usually right around the normal consensus (Except First class which has like a whopping 16 percent difference between the two, funnily enough. First time I saw such a difference.) I still can't wait though, I want to see it. I need to see an animated movie this year (I missed Rio, and quite frankly I hated Rango). To be honest I find all this "OH MAIII GAW PIXAR FAILED FOR THE FIRST TIMEEEEE" nonsense hilarious! Don't get me wrong, I love pixar (My biggest dream is to work for a studio like them xP), but they're just another movie company. Chill guys xD
We have to think about it from this point of view though: We can't let ourselves be crushed or take this too seriously, its just a movie. Lol.

Edit: LOL! Exactly. Don't expect an sobber heartwarming fest and just have fun with it xP Heck I was moved by the first Cars, to be honest, maybe I will with this one too.

..."Now excuse me, as I go swimming in the vault o' money I paid the Disney Company to let me use for this shift, and attend meetings about the topic 'How Much Applause We Can Get During One Meeting'."
I believe you mean "RUINED FOREEVEEEEEEEEEER!!!" Gotta use the tropes.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but you guys do now that the concept of Cars 2 was John Lasseter's idea right? Sure, the whole money issue was a great bonus to make Disney want a sequel, but he actually thought up the concept.
Also, if you think the guys of Pixar won't really mind the critical response to Cars 2, lets take into account one thing: Toy Story 3 director actually bothered to answer to Armond White's negative review of the movie.
Well, Over the Hedge is a mildly amusing comedy, and is still better rated.
Anyway, Brave looks awesome, really looking forward to that one.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.

IT IS NOW AT 43%
GOD HELP US.
