It's now down to 52% altogether. The awful-looking Bad Teacher (with possibly the most shallow main character of any movie this year) is at a 51%.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/In the very least, be glad it's higher then Bad Teacher...if it goes any lower then that movie's score, then i'll start to worry
It's still 75% with Top Critics. And one of the negative reviews was summed up with this nonsensical gem:
"This isn't an animated film. It is a cartoon."
That's the same thing!

Even if it bombs at the box office, it could still turn out to be one of Pixar's most profitable films yet.
I wonder if anyone else will be there at the midnight premiere tomorrow night?
signature lineDespite being one of the only people who would list the original as one of their favorite Pixar films, I think I'm gonna pass on this one. The whole spies angle that the trailers keep pushing so hard seems really out of touch with the first movie's tone. The first one was an all-ages thing anyone could enjoy, this just looks like strictly kiddy-fare.
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.Disliked the first movie for exactly those reasons, so the new one seems interesting to me. That said, it is more of a spin-off than a sequel, but I don't care.
I would not care about non-top critics scores for a movie that is yet to be released, mostly because, what guarantee is there that the no-top critics actually watched it? I guess the nonsensical claim mentioned above really is telling.

I feel like I'm partially responsible for this. In the past, in order to describe an impossible statement I would often say "Yeah, when PIXAR makes a bad film." Cue 48% .
I mean, I'll still go see this film because I love PIXAAR and actually didn't hate Cars 1, but I probably just won't see it in 3D.

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Maybe this is all one big gambit to prove that Pixar is in fact not invincible. The fact that the film changed directors during production and Lasseter has a million other things going on (producing Tangled, working on the English dub of Arrietty, developing Brave, Monsters University and Wreck-It Ralph) is probably a good example that this was not going to get much attention.

More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Normally I would be worried (right now I'm just upset, this is like their first movie that really bombed in ratings), but this movie is going to make SHITLOAD of money, so they'll come out of it laughing with no setbacks and HOPEFULLY go back to making the kind of great movies that are their real specialty.

Well
1.) It's Busy Street, and
2.) It's likely a Disney Death. He's a machine.
