The idiotic conclusion that one piece of conservative animation would be the general quality of all of it. (...if there was much aside of it.) My point is, by that logic, Captain Planet proves all liberal animation is crap.
I didn't see the message as "hate" the oil industry. But distrust the oil industry and quite honestly, if it is probably a much better and useful aesop than the "be yourself" thing (which is really the one message that drives home, because by the time the kids reach the oil thing, they will be sleeping out of the boredom caused by the first 70 minutes of non-plot.)
The actual oil industry has a lot of flagship brands putting money into bringing alternative energy to the market, because they've realized that we're going to run out of oil before they're done taking our money.
BP's official estimate is under 40 years.
