When I first saw the Tiranado, I thought it looked like Beelzemon from Digimon Tamers. In fact, I kinda still feel that way.

Iím still salty about the lack of a Premium Sound in English. Does this game have custom soundtracks? If so Iím just going to put them all in that way.

Also Bebop is apparently JUST Spike in terms of playable, but you get all the Magic Knights. I guess that means Great Rayearth will be a playable unit.

I think the game does have a Custom Soundtrack option, but only on the PS-4 version.

Thatís the one Iím getting. I enjoy my Switch, but this feels like itís gonna be easier to play on the PS 4.

And I can have the OG pilots come out to Urgent by Foreigner or something else 80's-tastic.

I got something special for the fans of X, the Savior and his song Maidens.

The Savior and his Maidens

Genryusai: The Seven Shinbe Dragon Gods granted a song to someone who was in distress over having brought ruin to their own realm. Then they selected Utaibe maidens to pass the song down through the generations. Ikaruga. Maria. Fureiya. The chosen Utaibe maidens sing the True Star Song, the song with the power to banish evil.
Naga: Wait, Fureiya.
Kaname: I believe that refers to Freyja, the ancestral clan of Lady Salamandinay.
Sylvia: Sister...that's...
Ange: Ikaruga...thatís my motherís maiden name.
Jill: Maria, huh?
Sala: Now everything is clear to me. We were all bound together by fate.

... okay.

Anyway, which SRW games have English translations (official or unofficial)? I'm pretty sure the only official ones at OG (1 and 2), V, and X. Any others (not counting Endless Frontier).

Unofficially, I know J has a full patch, and I think Alpha Gaiden does as well. Also A Portable got one recently, right?

Jan 18th 2019 at 12:21:06 PM

OG The Moon dwellers also has an official engish version, granted it was their first try at an official singapore eng version so its....not great

But the game itself is fun

Unofficially: SRW 1-3, as well as EX, have been translated by AGTP.

The English version of the second PV for SRW T is finally here!

Looks like they're going with the localised names from the G Gundam English dub after all.

Edit: Holy shit... JAM Project is singing in English for the trailer.

I know that X-Omega related news really tend to really rain on everyone's parade due to cool and unusual series being wasted on a mobile game, but I still find this kinda cool I guess.

One of the new series for X-Omega is Medabots, that mons-esque series about robots with interchangable parts.

(Specifically, this is based more on the original Gameboy games rather than the anime.)

I think this makes Metabee one of the smallest main character units that has ever appeared in the series, along with the sentient SD Gundams.

Now, these next news are not exactly SRW-Related perse but its still really cool. And that is, that there is going to be a Mazinger Z and G1 Transformers crossover manga.

Some people who worked on SRW-Related stuff are having a hand in this manga, so I guess this is one step closer to Transformers in SRW.

Does Bandai and Takara-Tomy have a toy rivalry thing going on? I'm actually surprised we haven't seen Transformers in SRW despite seeing a couple of Takara-Tomy stuff in SRW.

Lone wolf? Hah! "Lone" wolves die out of hunger and loneliness. The wolf needs the pack, and the pack needs the wolf.

[up] Probably licensing issues. The Transformers Franchise is co-owned by both Takara Tomy and Hasbro.

Itís almost always licensing issues.

And we wait to see what will be the first Western entry in a SRW series. Transformers has always been a long shot (but this makes it seem more feasible), Pacific Rim is getting an anime that could let it in, and the comedy answer - gen:LOCK, (which is from the same company that got RWBY in a Blaz Blue game so who knows?)

Not going to lie, I'd laugh if The Legend of Korra got included.

Feb 11th 2019 at 6:17:19 AM

[up]And people said that Yamato was out of left field. All the mecha are used by villains.

Not to mention Korra wasnít even released in Japan last I checked, so it has negative market penetration there.

Transformers should get in. Machine Robo got in, which technically means the Go-Bots got in SRW before the Transformers, and that, that cannot stand.

Hey, Iím for it! When the series grows long enough, that is. But the question is how the story would connect to other series.

Okay, I want to get this off my chest; Banpresto doesn't make the Super Robot Wars games anymore! Their Video Games division merged with Bandai Entertainment Company because Bandai Namco wanted to streamline and unify Bandai's gaming subsidiaries under one division. The result of said merger was B.B. Studio, who's been making the Super Robot Wars games since 2011 with ''2nd Super Robot Wars Z Hakai-hen. The rest of Banpresto was re-established as a toy company so that Bandai Namco could have a toys and hobby subsidiary, and the most that they do for the franchise is making figures based off of the mecha it's featured.

Sorry, I just think it's kinda annoying that people still credits Banpresto for the series even though they (As a Video Game Developer at least) technically don't exist anymore.

Still, kinda sad that the Banpresto jingle wont really be heard anymore outside of maybe the SRX's Gun Genocider attack.

So, who is excited for this?

https://youtu.be/CDNIuk59kOo

In the meantime, who knows the recent Egao No Daika anime and Armored Trooper VOTOMS? I ask becuase in a new Super Robot Wars idea, I will mix the two plotlines together. It makes sense since they are both Real Robot Genre mecha series that take place outside the Solar System. I also think that Chirico would get along with both protagonists; Stella as a soldier and Yuki as a victim of conspiracies.

The only problem now is how to bring these two protagonists together, who live on entirely different worlds. Granted, it will cover VOTOMS more and the Egao story will most likely be a Post-Script Season. The conspiracy concerning Chirico and the VOTOMS setting also help, but that does not sound like enough.

Super Robot Wars T is leaking right now. I'm watching a stream that's pretty late into the game. If anyone is interested, ask me for a link via Direct Messaging since I know that not everyone wants to be spoiled on the game.

EDIT: You know what, I'm getting tired. Think I'm gonna stop watching this stream and crash. Stream might no longer be going by the time I wake up.

2ND EDIT: It's over.

So Iím finally getting to play the game.

From what I see, is it just me, or do the Magic Knights have a thing for Shion?

I'm getting mixed signals from different reports, so I thought I'd stick my head in here and ask a silly question.

Is there a particular version of Super Robot Wars T that has English subtitles, or is it just a feature of the game? Like if I download the game from the Japanese Switch store, will I be able to access subtitles?
