I hope that the author doesn't go crazy with Andrew Ryan and have him go into long-winded speeches about the evils of parasites everytime he talks.

Bio Shock Wiki says the author hld back on publishing it so he could include stuff from the sequel. I'm glad to hear that.

[up] I'm not. It sounds like awkward references will be shoved into a story written around just the first game. 2's retcons don't really convince in fitting into the first game. I wish he had just put in a Continuity note.

I think he has enough time to fit both backstories into one flowing narrative. It's not like he is writing the first game, he's writing something that hasn't been set in stone.

Well I read it. It was...okay I guess. I don't know, I wish the author hadn't jumped around with the timeframe so much, and hadn't assumed the reader had already played the games.

*Sigh*

Even with bioShock's fantastic setting I still manages just come across as the unusual tie in novel.
