[up][up]Jossed!

But we don't like... talk to them, right? That sort of stuff may have worked in AOAN but I don't particularly like it here. We don't need back-seat Generals.

Lockon, could you please explain to me the flavor you were attempting to achieve with your Offensive? Describe it and such?

I may cut the movement range down to 4-9 actually... Patton would be 6.

Yeah we cant make the maps too large, you're right Fusion X3

No, they don't talk to the generals. They aren't really ghosts or anything, more like imprints on the girls psyche. They do have access to the general's memmories and emotions though.

Fusion, I am debating whether or not to make your Utility a little better. If I do will you still go Patton on me? X3

@SOCR: Basically, the Luftwaffe equivalent of "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes." Check out number three of the Dicta Boelcke for specifics. In essence, long-ranged attacks are horribly ineffective, so get in close, and make sure the first shot counts.

+1 to all attacks on adjacent hexes... well we'll torture Fusion one more time then, and make his ability the same thing (since right now yours is an overpowered version of his)

  • Richthoffen Offensive: +1 to all attacks on an adjacent hex
  • Patton Offensive: +1 to all attacks on an adjacent hex
  • Patton Utility: In addition to current effect, on a 3 or 4 enemy units will move only one hex away.

Lockon; I'm not going to put you through the Fusion rigamarole right now, but if during the course of the RP it becomes evident that there is very little allied support on maps, we can change your Defensive to say any Flight units, not just allied ones.

Will there be weather effects? And what about supplies?

Weather... I'll add a snow tile that does nothing but -1 to movement, but outside of that I'm not sure how to implement it.

As for supplies; I may institute a Mech Commander-esque Resource Point system, where capturing supplies or something allows you to call for bonuses or similar. They will be allocated to the team, not the character, but they'll be some nice field effects or bonuses that they can give you, so you'll all have to decide on how to use them.

Here's a cool little thing for those of you who were wondering how PC death would be handled. Also, Mission Control.

CHARACTER PROFILE: Rose and Scarlet Crucis

Red Cross Twins

At a Glance:

  • Age: 18
  • Rough Height: 5'
  • Build: Slim
  • Gender: Female
  • Hair and Eye Color: Black, Brown
  • Distinguishing features: None
  • Weapon Class: Shield (Shields get -5 against all weapons, all weapons have -5 against shields.)

General Description:

The Crucis sisters are identical twins. They both share waist-length black hair, alsways loose except when in combat, where it is french braided. Their small stature belies an above-average physical strength, and their fun-loving, carefree attitudes belie a strength of will and sense of purpose.

Clothing or Armor:

The Crucis twins always wear spotless white sundress, and a white garrison cap with a small red cross pin on the front. This does not change when they enter the battlefield, excpet they gain the addition of a tower shield as larger than they are; 6 feet by three feet in front cross section. The shield is also stark white, with a large red cross painted on the front.

Intimate Knowledge

Personality:

Bubble and cheerful to a degree of hyperactivity, the Crucis twins are nothing but fun-loving. They can be a bit snarky at times, and it may never be clear if their latest stinging remark was somethign they planned or were completely oblivious to...

History:

Nobody knows. The first time you've met them was when they were assigned to your unit, and they never talk about their past.

Abilities:

  • First Aid: Attacks target allies instead of enemies, healing 0-5 damage.
  • Field Hospital: Crucis recovers 1 health every turn.
  • Triage: Whenever a Magical Girl unit reaches 0 health, instead of dying, Crucis teleports to their location. As two units cannot occupy the same hex at the same time, Crucis removes them from the battlefield.
  • Movement: 0

Well...rain makes it more difficult for infantry and tires to move in the mud and strong wind can make things difficult for planes and artillery...

I'm not trying to make things more difficult than necessary, I was just thinking about my character. Something with weather would be nice, but I can find something else, no problem.
