Well the point is the whole RP isn't going to be like this. Only the combat. There will be plotstuff in-between.
EDIT: Talking Is a Free Action and can occur as many times between turn resolutions as desired without consuming either movement or action.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?I know you don't. That's why I explained that we get most of our amusement from the plot and not the combat.
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Terrain Types:
- Clear: Dirt or grass, flatlands. No effect.
- Rocky: Cannot 'Dig In'.
- Sandy: -1 to movement. Cannot 'Dig In'.
- Hills: -1 to all attacks for each Hill tile passing through after your own (so firing out of hills acquires no penalty, attacking adjacent hills -1, two hills away -2, etc)
- Mountains or Cliffs: Impassable terrain. Obstructs LOS.
- Forest: -1 to all attacks for each Forest tile similar to Hill rules. -1 to attacks on targets that have not moved or performed an action on their turn (-2 if entire turn was passed, to represent bonus from both phases skipped) -1 to movement.
- Also known as 'The God Terrain'.
- Water: Impassable terrain. Does not obstruct LOS
- Fortification: -2 to all attacks against you, +1 to all your attacks.
- Artillery: Tile doubles your attack range and gives +1 to all attacks.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?I'm still trying to decide whether movement stat should be determined by player or GM, but that would be reflected with higher-than-average movement.

Dig In. Though you reminded me to include the 'fortification' tile.
Attack Roll results:
- 1: Enemy counterattacks, 1 damage
- 2: Miss
- 3: Weak hit (1 damage)
- 4: Standard hit (2 dmaage)
- 5: Powerful hit (3 damage)
- 6: OHKO (4 damage is OHKO on mooks)

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?Um... So, uh, I saw the sign-up thread, and it looked pretty interesting, but it seems that it left out a few details as to how this is going to be run. Um... If it's not asking too much, uh, how is this going to be run? I'm just asking for a quick rundown, that's all. Sorry to be a bother and all, but the concept in the sign-up, uh, looked really interesting, and, uh, yeah. Sorry. >.<
I want to mention the testing of that trench-diving tank...
Can Compelling Voice be the only utility?
Aaand... that's it for the game rules. Mooks have 4 health. All player characters have 10. Movement values will be decided by GM.
Okay, that's not enemies attacking you, that's you attacking enemies. it's just the damage values correspond to 1, 2, 3, and 4. It would take two 6s and a 4 on a single turn to kill a PC. Edited to clarify.

Working on a condensed version now that I have everything out of the way.

How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?Perfectly acceptable, and will happen, it's not like we're fighting 24/7. That, however, doesn't require a game system to work.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?But do people die when they are killed?
Read, is Permadeath in effect here? Since death is very clearly defined in the combat system.
Kitkat Kitkat / He's our man / If any one screws up / He sure can -ImcaPC death is battlefield incapacitation. Mook death is death.
How can you be in two places at once when you're not anywhere at all?
x3 I was considering Douglas MacArthur.
