We should try hijacking with another god sometime...But it's hard...I mean...1000 arms...a parrot...a teenage dragon princess handmaiden...turns hells into heavens...
Absinthe: I must try this at least once. Like everything else really.

Also, I think Absinthe may be best saved for later.
My name is Cu Chulainn. Beside the raging sea I am left to moan. Sorrow I am, for I brought down my only son.My favourite alcoholic drink is pastis, an anise-flavoured liqueur. My favourite mix would be Gin Tonic.
I do like to drink wine and beer, especially wine, but I'm absolutely no gourmet about it. I couldn't tell the difference between the good stuff and the bad stuff. You know how people use to tell you that this sort of beer YOU JUST DON'T DRINK. Well, I never saw what's so aweful about them, I generally don't taste the differences of qualities a lot.
I also enjoy beer mixed with sweet lemonade a lot, it has very low alcohol content.
If everything you try works, you aren't trying hard enough@Aondeug: About absinthe: just don't use that silly "set the sugar cube on fire" trick when preparing it. It looks awesome, I'll grant that, but it ruins the taste IMO.
@Dia: I keep alternating between American and English spelling. Wasn't it enough that you guys have one of the most infuriating phonetic systems ever, you cannot even agree on a spelling system?

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.Carciofus: It's not my fault, bro. If I could, I'd go back and shoot Noah Webster with an assault rifle, and teabag his corpse. Wearing Power Armour.*

I like Heineken. Tastes a bit less bitter than most beers and it feels better.
Whiskey is cool, not much I can add except the fact that it makes everything better.
Rum is the most sweettasting, made of fuckwin thing in the universe, except for Gaiman and me. So, it is my favorite one as well. As for reasons, well, it is strangely strong-sweet, if it makes sense and it just feel nice on the throat.
Wine is only nice when it comes from Chile. there, I said it. Argentinians, COME AT ME!
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum.Juan: Agreed with rum.

Choices, choices..
My name is Cu Chulainn. Beside the raging sea I am left to moan. Sorrow I am, for I brought down my only son.I tried some Argentinian wine a few days ago. I don't remember the name — I was in an Argentinian steakhouse, and I just asked the waitress what would go well with my steak — but it was pretty good.
I don't think I ever had Chilean wine, though, so I cannot make a comparison.

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.Tried an Australian wine recently, and I'm just starting to familiarize myself with wine, but I really liked it. Pinot Grigio (hope I'm spelling that right) Yellowtail brand, c.2010.
Favorite is beer, though. The Pacific Northwest may be one of the best places for it, hahah. Domestic beer is practically the minority, with imports, and microbrews outnumbering them. Except for hipsters and their PBR.
Also, Vodka.
@ Bella. I love Skyy vodka too! I knew we were made for each other! I just made a Skyy Martini or three last night.
Favorite Booze — Bourbon. Bourbon is only from Kentucky. I love my home state. God save the Bourbon. We know three things in Louisville: Bourbon, Baseball Bats, and Horse Racing. They got two right, I'll leave you to guess which one I don't care for.
Favorite Brands:
- Whisky, Bourbon — Woodford Reserve or Knob's Creek (which is kinda polluted, but you wouldn't know it from their booze)
- Whisky, Rye — Sazerac
- Scotch, single — Laphroaig
- Scotch, blend — Johnnie Walker
- Vodka — Skyy (though seriously, having a favorite for a liquor whose main characteristic is no taste is a little dumb)
- Gin, heavy flavor — Bombay Sapphire
- Gin — Beefeater
- Rum — Bacardi
- Rum, Spiced — the Captain before I stopped being able to stomach it.
- Tequila — Jose Cuervo. I know next to nothing about tequila
- Liqueurs — Cointreau, Gran Mariner, Kalhua
- Aperitifs — Pernod, Absinthe
- Wine, Red — I like a good shiraz
- Wine, White — Riesling
Cocktails
- Manhattan — the combo of my favorite booze, Bourbon, and some sweet aromatic wine (Sweet Vermouth) topped with a cherry, its like a booze ice-cream sunday
- Martini — the classic cocktail. I take mine Gin (Bombay Sapphire when I can afford to) with vermouth, and a little dirty. If I'm broke, I take my martini with rail vodka, because rail gin is vile.
- Sazerac — Rye whisky (Sazerac, cause that's the drink's name), bitters, Line/coat glass with absinthe, Rim glass with Lemon peel and put it in drink
- Cafe Savoy — Milk or Creme, Coffee, Triple Sec 1/2 oz, Brandy 1/2 oz. So wonderful on a cold, football tailgating morning
- Café Brûlot — 3 oz Kirschwasser , 3 oz Curaçao , 3 oz Brandy, Mix, Light on Fire, Add Cinnamon sticks Lemon Peels and Cloves, Put out flame and add Coffee. Makes 4 cups.
- Mimosa — I like an alcoholic breakfast when on vacation. Or tailgating. I'm weird that way. I also like mine with a kick. 6 oz. champagne, 1 oz. cointreau, 1 oz. orange juice
A Good Evening at the cancerlad Lair:
- Cocktails before dinner - martinis
- Aperitifs — Pernod
- With Dinner — red and white wine
- Digestif — Sazerac on the rocks
- Liqueurs - I'm partial to Cointreau, but the Liqueur should go well with dessert.
- Coffee - Cafe Savoy or some Bailey's in coffee
- After Dinner Cocktails — bar's open, show some class
Though I love my booze, I only drink about once or twice a week. Depressives and booze don't mix.
the pronoun system in Cherokee is just better. Need Scion GM.Sake.
...I've never actually tried any type of alcohol, I'm just saying it because it's the only type I'd really like to try.
