Heh, bitch-fizzies.

Ahem.

Mike's tastes pretty good (I like the black cherry stuff best) but it takes about half a dozen to get you even mildly tipsy. 'S not a bad thing if you mostly drink because you like the taste of the drinks (like me, usually) but if you aim to get smashed, you'd better look somewhere less pansyish.

Also, agreed with Juan's alcohol policy.

Also also, a friend of mine made some mead, home-made. It was fuckin' delicious. Very light and sweet, with kind of a vague citrusy taste (which makes sense considering he put oranges in it).

My name is Cu Chulainn. Beside the raging sea I am left to moan. Sorrow I am, for I brought down my only son.

Diamonnes: Good stuff isn't it.

I do like my drinks to usually taste good which is why I am on the prowl for non-bitter tasting beer like drink. I prefer mixed drinks with hard liquor in them.

I had Mike's recently and it was pretty sweet; maybe it's because to my lemonade being more sour than sweet.

Hm, I've been hearing good things about that new Bacardi Oakheart. And it's only like $13 a fifth so I might have to check it out.

Beers: Irish Death by Iron Horse Microbrew. Dark, strong and delicious

I'm gonna promote Dragonmead again. If anyone ever is around Warren, Michigan, I'd highly recommend going there. Their microbrews are delicious.

And they have Scrabble and Jenga for patrons to play while drinking. And they allow you to bring your own food in.

... Call me immature or whatever, but I hate the taste and smell of booze.

But if it doesn't smell like household cleaner liquids and the alcohol taste isn't too strong, I might drink it.

No favorites though, since I never really drank...

^^yeah I was that way for a while, but I think that's just because most of the alcohol you get exposed to smells and tastes awful. You gotta go out of your way to find the good stuff, and that's after you acquire the taste for stuff that's bitter.

Still don't enjoy that ethanol taste of most liquor. Vodka gets a pass because I can't taste it anymore, and gin+tonic gets a pass because it's gin and tonic.

PS. if you like coffee/frapuccinos (and if you're at a proper age), try out kahlua coffee liqueur. Then add some milk and a couple shots of vodka and turn it into a white russian. That has like zero ethanol flavor.

I recently tried some Oude Jenever. Not bad, but not really my thing — a bit too lacking in flavor for my tastes.

As for me, I didn't start drinking until I was 19. Went to a bar with my cousin that had a lax carding policy.

I think I was 15 when I started drinking. 16 at the absolute latest. Legal age is 18 though, so I guess 15/16 is our 19 in that respect.

And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)

@TBP, I thought it was legal to drink at 16 if it was with a meal and under parental supervision?

Well, picked up some of that Bacardi Oakheart spiced rum today, and man this stuff is good. Definitely better than Captain.

From now on, when I go spiced rum I'm gonna go Bacardi Oakheart.

I’ve got a bottle of it, Undergroun, and Zwack and can never figure out which I like more.

Considering trying to figure that out requires lots of shots. I quickly become far too drunk to give a shit.

I just purchased a bottle of The Lost Abbey's Lost and Found ale and oh my is this a delicious beer. I was skeptical at first because of the raisin puree since I tend to dislike fruity beer, but there is no fruity flavor in this beer. Just delicious malts and a nutty finish, minimal bitterness, a beautiful dark color, and a semi-sweet aroma.

It also has a super cool bottle.

I am infatuated.

drunk: That's the way it is man. That happens to me when I drink mixed drinks. Or rum in general! XD

Changed my mind. Favorite alcohol is alcohol. But slight preference towards good spiced rum, good/decent vodka, good beer and absinthe(all pretty equally, absinthe maybe slightly higher except the expense making it less so).

No.
