So many nep games being bought for this sale, I hope the Nep thread gets busy.
Well if it was only like Warcraft 3.
Warcraft 3's balance patches explicitly don't touch the single-player campaign.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I'd say I got a good bunch of games this sale, despite that I don't think the sale itself was very exciting. Knytt Underground, Vector, Strider, Hyper Light Drifter, Broforce, Refunct, Dino Run DX, and Dark Souls. I played through a little of Knytt Underground, but wasn't impressed. Hyper Light Drifter, on the other hand, I loved every minute of and is one of my favorite games I've played this year. Broforce is also quite fun so far and hilariously over-the-top.
Gaaaaaaah! Steam Store keeps glitching out on my in the Payment Info stage and Tech Support hasn't responded to my ticket yet and time's running out! What do I do???
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Well, it's over. Made another badge and got a coupon instead of a summer trading card.
Almost level 40 too.
Speaking of account levels, I'll be honest - I've never really understood its importance. Do you get some extra shopping features with higher levels or is it purely for show?
Don't stop, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need-proceed, just proceed, 'cause this is what you need!I think it's just for show. I don't even remember how you get your level to go up. If it's by trading cards/badges, then I'd rather have the extra cents on my account than the badges.
Yeah, Summer Sale is over... and a few minutes afterwards, I finally get a message from Steam Support telling me that my problem might be caused by having "too many" items in the cart (they're 36 items, if you're wondering), so I should split them into batches and try again.
Naturally, I politely informed them (though not with the exact wording) that their advice would've been much more useful had it come before the Summer Sale had ended, but that I'll nonetheless keep it mind for the future.
Bah. Such a golden opportunity... now gone. Who knows when those games and DLCs will go on such a sale all at the same time once again?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Probably on the Holiday sale.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Ended up only getting Trails in the Sky. I'm kind of at the point where I've gotten most of what I'm really want, and my backlog is big enough that unless I'm in the mood or the discount is good enough I can hold off on other games I'm interested in. Not sure if that's a problem or not.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Probably thinking of the sale around Christmastime.
Yep. The Winter Sale will probably have a lot of your deals and more.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.My sympathies, Mark. Steam's service has been going down the crapper lately, though. In particular that new mobile authenicator security requirement for trading items can't be activated on Guam, and guess how long the holding period is when you're trying to sell items without it? 15 days.

Yeah, I had a few problems with the service freezing while I was buying things too. Thankfully I just restarted it and it turned out to have worked.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."
Picked up a lot more than I've brought in a while
- Tabletop simulator, because a few friends of mine also got it.
- Kindred Spirits on the Roof for a birthday present for another friend.
- Pre-Sequal Season pass
- Hyperdimension Neptunia U - wasn't going to get this initially, but I accidentally put $10 in my steam wallet while trying to check the conversion rate. It's 70% off though, so I doubt it'l go any lower.
