Curious but did WB do anything with their characters for their 100th anniversary? Like along the same lines as Disney's "Once Upon A Studio".
Like creepy stories? Check out my book! They've released some Blu-ray collections and I think that's it.
Of course, Zaslav is probably too cheap to actually do anything further than that.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonThere was a special episode of Teen Titans Go! that was a Massive Multiplayer Crossover in the vein of Once Upon a Studio.

WB's first cartoon was 1930's "Sinkin' in the Bathtub," so it'll be another 7 years before WB animation turns 100. Even then, they're first star, Porky Pig, didn't appear until '35.
NPR put out an episode about the Coyote Vs Acme drama.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight. It's also meant to add a touch of irony, given how none of the Acme products worked properly for the Coyote.

Like creepy stories? Check out my book!Yeah, Acme is like a lot of things in Looney Tunes in that it existed before the cartoons but is now associated mainly with them.

Like creepy stories? Check out my book!I saw an scene from a Looney Tunes direct to video movie. It seems to be YET ANOTHER adaptation of A Christmas Carol but its surprisingly heartbreaking even in just a pic of it. A little pig girl says she never hated Daffy and he will never be alone because she will always be with him by his grave. God I didnt think a cheap direct to video movie could do that.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.
That's from Bah Humduck.
That was... ok, but it's one of those Christmas Carol adaptations where Tiny Tim, or his equivalent doesn't die in the "Christmas future" segment... meaning Scrooge (or in this case, Daffy) only becomes good purely for themself.
Like creepy stories? Check out my book!It wasn't half bad, but maybe a little too sentimental, considering these are the Looney Tunes here.
Still, when it came to Looney Tunes at the time, you could have done worse.

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."
x3 It's also inferior to the original Looney Tunes Christmas Carol that has Yosemite Sam as Scrooge and, instead of 3 ghosts scaring him, its Bugs Bunny screwing with him as the ghosts. With the added bonus of having Mel Blanc still be the voices of the characters.

I actually saw this film recently, and it is indeed quite good, keeping most of the heart of the original story while mixing it with traditional Looney Tunes humor. The movie's equivalent of Tiny Tim dying is actually something else that highlights that mix perfectly: instead of a kid dying, the negative impact of Daffy's selfishness that he leaves behind is all of his employees losing their jobs... because he tried to leave his company to himself in his will, which obviously did not work and shut down the store. I think the most interesting part of the movie is how Bugs doesn't really play any direct role of anybody from the book, he's kind of a Jacob Marley analogue in that he calls out Daffy's selfishness and warns him about the ghosts, but a) he's alive, b) he keeps showing up to annoy Daffy in classic Bugs style, and c) there's a proper Jacob Marley role (Sylvester) who does the "chains in the afterlife" speech and "officially" introduces the spirits. Sylvester's also not an old friend of Daffy's, but a greedy CEO he admired who was killed by his own employee in a forklift accident. So in essence, Bugs's role is essentially just... Bugs Bunny hijacking the story to annoy somebody who's being a jerk, which makes perfect sense.
There's also a brief moment after the ending reformation where Daffy panicks that he's going to go broke and considers stealing back all his gifts, something that would be an absolutely horrible thing to add to any other Christmas Carol... but when your Scrooge is Daffy Duck, I think you can get a pass for that.
The animation is also fantastic for a direct-to-video movie.

Disney100 Marathon | DreamWorks MarathonIt found itself being really slow to start...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Glad to hear it! It's streaming on Tubi, not Max, which surprisingly isn't entirely a David Zaslav decision, as I don't remember ever seeing it on there, even before he came along.

That is interesting and disappointing.
