Mimic recoiled momentarily in surprise. Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that. He then put his hands over his forehead, and closed his eyes as he emitted an unimaginably bright light, hopefully blinding the beast. He quickly darted to the side, and hurled himself forward, throwing a punch at it. He knew that his blow would not only knock a normal human flat, but sprawling quite a ways as well. This thing was far from normal, but hopefully it would do.
After about three minutes, Gale made it to the area by the police station. From his vantage point in the sky, he could see policemen surrounding a nearby apartment complex. On a nearby rooftop was a familiar black figure. He landed lightly on the roof, just behind her. "Hello Sheathe," he said, seeming to pay more attention to the building than to her. "Good to see someone has the sense to contain him instead of just rushing in. So how many supers are in there already?"

"Double darn!" Scan holstered his stun gun and used his jetpack to fly off to save the woman being flown. He grabbed the woman and put her safely on the ground.
"Are you alright?" Scan asked the woman.
The woman nodded. Scan then flew off the roof to hopefully tear off the robot's grenade arm.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyVigil waited until Doll was a safe distance away before it made its move. Not minding the presence of Black Rose, the masked hero grabbed one of its flash bombs and threw it to the ground before retreating down the hall, back to the entrance it used to get inside. Once there it jumped, and using its ability to nearly nullify its weight used the upper door frame and the roof to keep itself waiting just above the door. After that the silent hero waited, ears open to hear what Silver's Skull move would be.

As the customers and workers fled the backdoor of the restaurant and scattered, Aria turned to Jeff and said, "Spacemen fighting robots... did we travel back to the 50s or something?"
Then she blinked. "Wait. Wait, wait, wait. The Captain Zeppelin? The Terror of the Silver Skies? The Crime Captain of the Robot Crooks? One of the greatest men in the golden age of heroes and villainy? That Captain Zeppelin? That was one of his robots?! Holy fuck, that's awesome! Do you think his robot minion would sign an autograph for me? Oh, no! No! What about a tour of his zeppelin? Oh god, that would be the best thing ever! I could meet him in person, have him sign my shirt! No! Have him sign my ches-
"...wait, he's your dad?" Aria shook Jeff. "HOW COME YOU NEVER TOLD ME?!"
"Hey, Gale. I saw three non-cops wander in there: Vigil, that cute-looking partner of his, and that one goth looking guy in all black, black spiky hair, and pale skin. I'm guessing you heard all about the cop killer on the police chatter, huh?
"Oh, wait." Sheathe moved her sniper lens and spotted Doll carrying an injured girl, cops pointing her in a direction away from the scene, where ambulances were approaching to tend to the wounded. "Looks like Vigil's girl sidekick left the scene. Guess that just makes the cop killer, Vigil, and that weird other guy."

Motorpocalypse grabbed Aria by the shoulders. "Okay, first, he's not my dad. I made it clear that he wasn't, because everyone thinks we are. He's my mentor, he taught me everything I knew about super science. And yes, he will let us have a tour of the zeppelin if we can get up there. I've been meaning to convert my exhaust ports into a jetpack anyway. He has a merch booth up in the zeppelin too, in case you want to bring anything home."
Tired of transitory statements, Black Rose walked out of the apartment and watched Vigil jump out the apartment. "Well damn. I was going to grab him, maybe cause a localized black hole."
Scan dived behind a building to avoid the grenades, but he kept an eye on the robot. He had to find a way to disarm this robot without him firing or capturing another hostage.
Wizard Needs Food Badly"Well, you said that he isn't your dad without me asking it, so I thought it was one of those 'he denied it because it's true' things..." Aria let herself wind down from her excitement. "A jetpack, huh? I could work on that if you want."
Scan considered his options. If he made himself obvious, the robot would fire. He also couldn't get too close without the robot harming an innocent. Scan looked at his belt buckle, and smirked as he got an impromptu idea.
Opening his belt buckle, he pressed a few buttons underneath to modify his holographic emitter to cloak him from sight. There would still be a faint outline due to the holographic emitter not being designed to cloak a person.
Scan then tried to sneak up towards the robot under the cloak and try to take the granade launcher off of it.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyMimic certainly hadn't expected his punch to take the monster down, but he had expected more of a reaction than that. He shivered in the frigid air, knowing that this... thing was not to be taken lightly. I need to wrap this up before it can begin. Since the beast hadn't moved away from him, he jabbed his finger towards the beast, and released a blast of energy.
Gale nodded. "Alright. I'm headed onto the roof of that complex," he stated very matter-of-factly. "If anything comes out of there that isn't Vigil or a cop, I'm going to detain it. You then have ten seconds to take it out." Without waiting for a response, he flew off to enact his plan.
"A bloodless retreat it is." Skull muttered under his breath upon seeing the woman flee with the girl. Now not distressed by the wounded child, something he couldn't still stomach in his years, he prepared to throw his guns to the floor. But the other super seemed to have another plans. He was a moment too slow, as he caught the flash directly in his eyes, only slightly dampened by the visor.
They were out for blood.
He briefly pondered wether to give them his best shot, but he wasn't in the mood of fighting any longer. His target would most likely be taken to a hospital if it was alive, and he would have to deal with not-quite peasantries from his contractor, eat his losses on the material with his payroll, and start from scratch.
Still, he could honor the thing he had said prior. A bloodless retreat. Dropping the guard's guns as he started to run away towards the basement, he produced another explosive grenade as he skidded down the stairs.
"I hope there aren't any mutant, laser beam spewing rats." He muttered to himself.
And then he tossed the grenade. It made a huge dent in the tight-locked grate, enough for a person to fit in.
He mentally added the extra soap and cleaners on all his losses for the day, as the poignant smell somehow managed to get through his helmet air filter. And then, he jumped in.

Brio Mortuus looked up to hear a women talking about a fight somewhere.
Mortuus stood up, dropped its paper on the bench, and walked after the lady, "Excuse me, Madam. Would you please tell me what is happening."
The woman told Brio how her friend was at the Cafe and a super hero and a super villain were fighting, and when Brio Mortuus asked where she pointed and told it the address.
Brio Mortuus bowed, "Thank you.", then left towards the Cafe.
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.Black Rose watched Silver Skull retreat, then walked over to the window in the hallway. He poked his head out and yelled, "Hey, Vigil, if you can hear me, he's going for the basement like a little pussy!"
Jeff turned to Aria. "Should we go? I mean, we can probably hitch a ride with the robot..."
As the blast of energy hit him, Uriah froze himself to the ground. His body bent back, but stayed standing. It raised one enormous, clawlike hand to swipe at Mimic. In a much clearer, lower voice, he said, "Leave, now, conjurer. I do not wish to kill you, you are not part of the problem of this society!"
After what seemed like an eternity of staring a hole into the wall thinking about precisely what he started thinking to avoid thinking about, Drew sat up. He had lost track of time, but he reasoned it couldn't have been that long. Drew also made a mental note to get a watch, because that would help him greatly right now.
He got up and walked to and fro through his apartment, glancing at the thermostat as he went by, which was now at a more decent temperature. He finally found Andrew in the kitchen, and a thought occured to him. "Why Faceplant?", he asked quietly, a small curiosity rising in him, mainly hidden by his finally going back to his normal nature but still enough for him to voice the question.
"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillScan followed after the robot and positive that 'Captain Zeppelin' had not spotted him, attempted to tear off the Grenade Launcher arm from the robot.
Wizard Needs Food BadlyA certain phone dialed 911. As the operator answered, the voice on the other line, distorted beyond recognition, spoke.
"There's been a murder in the Swanson Super Reconstruction offices. Theodore Swanson, the head of the business, has been killed. The perpetrator is still in the building. Now then, I'm aware the police force is already stretched with the investigation of the treasurer and the madman in front of the police station, but it would be much appreciated if you could spare some men for this new crime scene as well.
"...who is this? Consider it a tip from The Thespian."
"Of course I do. I've got a poster showing the schematics of the basic model of his robots," Aria said proudly. Then she spotted the oiled up cloaked superhero and did her best meek civilian impression. "Um, w-we should do what he says, dear..."
"Jetpack?" Scan questioned as he just barely dodged being grabbed by the robot, knowing that the oil had gotten onto him.

Wizard Needs Food Badly

Captain Zeppelin saw That Guy and The Girl That That Guy Was With head out towards the back exit of the cafe. He then saw a damage reading on the left shoulder, he turned to see a spaceman. I don't have time to deal with this guy, Captain Zeppelin thought to himself. He saw a woman fleeing the cafe and grabbed her, Damnit, no railroad tracks. Guess I'll have to go with plan B. "FETCH!" he yelled tossing the woman over a nearby building.
